About: I have been a pet owner and taken care pets for friends and family for the past 13 years. I have had experience taking care of pets in all stages of life. Whether they’re energetic and need constant play, or they’re older and require a gentler hand. I do not view our pets as just animals, but as family members, so I understand the importance of providing them with the attention and care they deserve. I am currently working full time as a remote employee, which puts me in the perfecting position for boarding. About: I've had pets of all different sizes since I was a child, which has given me a lot of experience in pet care. I've cared for fish, birds, reptiles, cats, dogs, and horses, so I feel comfortable with a variety of animals. Currently, I take care of 6 dogs, 3 cats, horses, and a scarlet macaw at home. This diverse background sets me apart from other sitters because I can tend to any pet's needs, regardless of age, and I will love them as if they were one of my own. I spend all day focused on my pets and their needs. I wake up at 7 am to walk and feed my dogs, which is a great way to start the day. During my free time, I train with my bird, working on his skills and building our bond. I love taking my dogs to the pond to swim and play fetch; it's always a fun time for them! Right now, I'm also training my macaw in free flight, which is an exciting challenge. My days are very animal-oriented, and I truly enjoy it. I plan to become an equine vet someday because I love working with animals and the education that comes with it. Every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow alongside my pets! I care for pets in my home by providing multiple fenced areas where the dogs can play alone or with other dogs while staying secure. We also have a pond area where they can swim and have fun. When I'm in my clients' homes, I make sure the pet is safe and comfortable, attending to all their needs. I’ll play with them, ensure they're fed, and I always send check-ins to the owner to keep them updated. Your pets will feel loved and well cared for, no matter where they are!

About: I love dogs and have helped raise two labs and have been dog-sitting. I like to snuggle and play with them! I love lots of animals. My mom will be in charge of the care of your pet. We as a family all pitch in to take care of pets! Our dog goes to a friend’s house every time we’re away. She loves it there so we like to give others’ pets a fun family home away from home, too! I have a partially fenced large yard and can be flexible with your needs. I have a dog and cat at home. I can walk your dog around my house or at the park.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. My family had many many pets growing up. We had 3 different dogs and 8 different cats. I have had 2 dogs of my own and 2 cats of my own. About a decade ago, I opened a grooming, boarding, and dog walking business. It was amazing and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately, a few years ago my partner in that business and in life at one point passed away unexpectedly. I didn't pursue keeping the business open after that. I ended up working with dogs and going to clients houses throughout the years and I am currently opening another business and I have a groomer that is the co-owner of the business. I have experience training puppies, rescues, and older dogs. I use positive reinforcement, clicker training, food/treat based training, exposure therapy, and multiple other methods. I also make homemade treats for my dogs and my clients that are much better for pets than the overly processed treats that are usually carried in stores. I am currently going to school online and building my pet care business. I have complete control over my schedule right now and have plenty of time for pet care! I live in a home and have a fenced in yard. I always allow potty breaks every 0-2hrs and offer walks every 2-4hrs. I live in a small community that is right across the street from a HUGE field and many paths for dog walks and every client I've had LOVES it! I also have a special bathing setup for animals in my home if their owners would like bathing and/or grooms. I have a grooming table in the house in a special room and a groomer on-call at all times. I have multiple bedrooms, beds, dog beds, crates, couches, and more! Dogs are welcome everywhere but always in the same area as I am and not left alone. Safety is my number one priority! I want every dog's experience with us to be amazing and safe and reliable for the owner. I also am able to send updates and pictures and anything a pet owner/pet parent requests! The wellbeing of the dog is the priority. I also have access to a special location 20 minutes from my house with hiking paths, beaches, and fun environments to bring dogs for special experiences if owner wants that for their pup during their stay with us.

About: Hi! My name is Katie. I've moved to Westminster, Maryland from Louisiana where I helped run a rescue and have had over a decade of experience with animals of all sorts. I am operations manager for a pet training/boarding facility and looking to make extra income by doing something I love, which is why I've turned to Rover.
