About: I really love animals. I've had turtles, guinea pigs, lizards, chickens, dogs, and cats. I have 2 cats and a dog right now. They are super spoiled. I care for every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar environment. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the opportunity to get fresh air and exercise. My kids and I like to go to the shelters to play with the animals and get them out of their cages. I offer flexible availability, seven days a week, and can often accommodate short-notice requests when needed. Reach out and I am happy to get you scheduled! I provide care in clients' homes only, including feeding, check-ins, and companionship while owners are away. I am happy to follow any specific instructions to ensure your pet’s needs are fully met.

About: Throughout my whole life, we have had small to medium dogs from puppies to now having a senior dog. I have experience in training puppies and ensuring care such as creating medicine schedules for our senior dog. I can be as energetic as your puppies to having snuggle time with the old dogs. As of now, my family in Colorado has 3 dogs including two Pomeranian pups and one 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier. I have also taken care of Beagles, Shih Tzus, Border Collies, and Australian Shepherds. I am going into my last year of graduate school at the University of Utah. This summer I am not in school and do not start back up till the 18th of August so I have something extra time to take care of your pups. So I will be free almost everyday to watch and take care of your loving pets. I am currently living in an apartment in Holladay, UT with my husband. We live right next to various parks and whether your pet needs to go on walks daily, needs higher care such as giving medicine, or just needs help with crate training or potty training, I can ensure to love your pets with the highest of care.

About: Hi my name is Bianca, I'm born and raised in Utah and i love animals. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience providing attentive and compassionate care to a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. From daily feeding and grooming to administering medications and ensuring plenty of exercise and enrichment, I prioritize each pet’s health, comfort, and happiness. My background reflects a deep love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility in meeting their individual needs. I am still looking for a job after graduating from college, so I am available full time right now to care for animals at home or at other homes. I will give animals their own space in my house, which will either be my basement or our spare room. Since I have a young cat, I will keep them separate. But I will spend lots of time with them and give them lots of attention and play with them

“Kelly is communicative, accommodating, and our fur babies love her! She always reaches out with questions or concerns if they should ever arise and that puts our mind at ease. We love and would recommend Kelly to anyone!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life! I’ve always owned a pet until recently, I lost my rescued English Bulldog. I miss him so much and since I’m not ready to get another one just yet, that leaves some time to give your pet extra attention! I have over 8 years of volunteer and foster experience at local shelters and have been involved in the adoption of over 100 dogs and cats. You can trust that your furry friend is in capable, compassionate hands when they’re with me. I currently have a full time job working Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm but I’ll still make sure your pet gets full time love and attention. I would prefer to stay within the Salt Lake City area but I am willing to drive 25 to 50 miles. I have a fenced back yard where your pet can lounge. No kids or pets in my home. I have a vehicle so transporting them to the park will be no issue.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 15 years. Have dog sat and boarded dogs in my home for years now for friends and family and I decided to get on Rover. I am a caretaker at heart, very patient and nurturing and will make sure your doggies are taken care of as if they were home with you. I believe a happy dog is a dog who gets lots of exercise and pets/attention and that’s exactly what I prioritize for all my doggy guests. I love to send pics and videos throughout the day so you will always know how your dog is doing. I have a golden retriever who loves friends. I also have two teenage boys (14 and 17) who love dogs as much as I do. I only watch a max of 2-3 doggies at a time to make sure I can give them the proper attention. I can only watch dogs that get along with other dogs because I usually have 2 dogs plus my golden most days. I work from home and take out my dog and doggy guests for daily walks everyday. In the morning, during lunch time and after work. We walk 60-90 mins a day and I will walk 3-4 dogs at a time. (2-3 doggy guests plus my golden). I live in a beautiful gated townhome community with multiple grassy areas. I also have a fenced porch area. Excited to meet your fur baby.

“She is absolutely amazing! Very reliable and is super friendly with my pup. He automatically loved her and waits for her when it’s time for her to come. So happy I found Daynara!”

About: We're a homeschooling family with four kids 9 and younger. So going for walks throughout the day works perfectly for us. We can do boarding with a kid friendly dog, for up to 7-10 days. We also live in a beautiful neighborhood with hills and mountains around us, so it's a great place for dogs to run. Our oldest son, Dane will be doing the feeding and holding of the leash, and I will be with him as the primary caretaker of the dog. If yo want your dog to be around kids and get lots of snuggles, petting, and attention then we are the family for you! We're a homeschooling family so going for walks throughout the day works perfectly for us. We can do boarding with a kid friendly dog, for up to 7-10 days. We also live in a beautiful neighborhood with hills and mountains around us, so it's a great place for dogs to run. We don't have a fence so we'd need to keep your dog inside, other than going out for walks during the day. Our children adore dogs so she/he would get lots of attention, petting, and cuddles. We do have a garage, if you have a crate or bed where the dog prefers to be alone or rest.

About: I have cared and loved for many dogs since I was a little kid. My best friend and best doggo entered the rainbow bridge two years ago and while I’m not quite ready for my next best friend, I would love to get my doggo fix by taking care of others. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I have a small fenced backyard but enjoy walks and there’s a park across from my house. I’ve taken care of puppies to seniors! I work a full time flexible job that is completely remote. I enjoy morning and evening walks, but can take more if needed. I can be active or also allow for couch time! I have a fenced yard and no other dogs residing at the house. It’s a safe and dog friendly neighborhood as well with plenty of areas to walk and play.

About: From a childhood rich with all type of animals, to shadowing a veterinarian and working with baby animals at a wildlife park in college, together, my husband and I have worked with oodles of animals, all kinds. While we do not currently have any pets of our own, recently, we have loved partnering with our local humane society to foster over 200 cats and dogs over the past several years. We have worked with many personalities and various levels of trust and have always returned our cats brimming with health and happiness. We are able to provide ample time and attention: lots of lap time, sleep, & toys. Any treats? Let us know your preferences, and we love to liberally pass them out on a daily basis! We are thrilled that you are considering us for your future "home away from home" for your cat and kitten, and we hope to become your one-stop neighborhood pet hotel for all your needs. Any questions? Let us know! We look forward to hearing from you! Our three-legged approach to care is as follows: safety, trust, and comfort. We ensure our animals have comfortable space just for them--we ask for a favorite blanket, toy, or treat recommendation. We rely on natural litter for ample cleanliness and health benefits, and your animal will truly decide their preference while here in our home. Shy? We provide gentle space with lots of encouragement. Friendly? We provide lots of attention and play time. Hungry? No need to ask twice, we love to shower your cat and kittens with a lavish buffet, per your dietary preferences. We do this because we love animals. We do all of this out of the joy of our hearts. We work from home full time, so we can offer full time care for you cat or dog. We can be very flexable to your needs! We don't have a fenced yard but our complex has alot of yard that we can take the dog out too at any time. Since we are home almost all day we won't leave your pet. There are alot of dog parks as well we can take your pet too.

Whether it's a long walk, a cozy cuddle, or just some playful fun, your pup will be in excellent hands with her. Kori also regularly takes care of our family bunny, Tulip. Even though Tulip isn’t a dog, Kori treats her with the same kindness and attention—making sure she’s well-fed, has fresh water, gets plenty of pets, and stays entertained. Her gentle and nurturing nature makes her a perfect fit for any pet parent looking for someone they can trust. If you're looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like family, Kori is the one!”

Anna & Stephen R.

“Hello, I just saw an email from the GBHS foster coordinator that you wanted to stay in touch and that is fine with me. Our previous cat, Jack, had to be put down due to FIP early this year. We waited a while before looking again. When I saw your description on her post I just knew she was the kitty we needed. I have four kids, three of which are teens. They have been taking turns cuddling with her in their rooms while out of school this weekend and holiday. 🙂 They were so happy to have a cat again, that two of them broke down crying when they realized I adopted her! I'm actually a stay at home mom and she's been following me around the house everywhere I go. Thank you for taking care of her for us. https://instagram.com/icandiknits?igshid=Yzg5MTU1MDY=”

Wildwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alecia was fantastic with Koda. She came over for a meet and greet with Koda the day before and Koda took right to her. Alecia was able to accommodate an evening walk when it cooled off a bit and went for a stroll through the neighborhood. Koda got to say hello to some of her neighbor friends and had a great time. Thank you again Alecia for taking such great care of Koda while I was at work!
