I visited Eugene and needed some day care for my pups. Morgan is the first sitter I’ve felt totally comfortable leaving my dogs with in a long time. They both have their own unique personalities that require a watchful eye; Morgan was able to assure me they would be safe and upon meeting her I instantly knew they would be. She even went out of her way to help transport them at the end of day. Highly recommend Morgan (shoutout to her adorable dog Clover)!

Hannah is amazing! She made my clingy and anxious chihuahua feel comfortable and right at home. ? I’m very particular about who I leave him with and she is friendly and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I received photos and updates during his stay! So glad I found her! Thank you!

Laura, Lawrence & Lilah took wonderful care of Bella. She had never stayed or been around other dogs. Bella and Lilah were friends right off. They sent me many pictures which made my vacation less stressful. Bella was very comfortable there, it showed in their pictures. I would give them a 5 plus 🌟

We had a last minute change in our typical dog care. We came across Tessa and she is absolutely wonderful. They have a great large fenced property and right away I knew my doggos would be in a good space. She is great about sending updates and pictures, which was comforting in knowing they are well taken care of. Picked them up today and they are exhausted, which tells me they enjoyed their time. Will use them again.

About: I am retired, ex professional, experienced in animal care, domestic, horses and exotic animals. I have done pet and house sitting in France and in the usa. I have excellent references on my website. I can give oral medication, puppies will go out every 2 hours. I have an adorable poodle who will love playing with your puppy, she is like a mother to puppies. I used to do dog rescue while living in France, and placed all dogs saved in very good homes, this was my main concern. I can read dogs body language, and dealt with traumatized dogs, among them my silver poodle, who was very traumatized by his past. I do like old dogs and have adopted some in the past. If a dog swallow something he should not have, I know how to make them throw up. I am retired, as a parent of 2 purbred miniature poodles, I spend most of my time at home, and take them out reguarly. When I have to go out, I am never gone long. I give a lots of attention to my dogs and dogs I sit. I will give the same care to your dogs and if I take them on a walk, will never let them approach a dog I don't know. the yard is fenced but will always go outside with the dogs and will take them on a leash when it's dark. I live outside cottage grove, I am very protective of my own dogs, will be with yours, too.

Journey is the perfect sitter for our reactive baby. I could immediately tell she has lots of experience and is comfortable with even fearful dogs like ours. The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! Thank you, Journey!

About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I’m home full‑time and able to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day/night. My home is relaxed, warm, and set up for dogs to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I keep things safe, clean, and low‑stress, and I follow each dog’s natural rhythm — whether that’s playtime, naps, snuggles, or simply hanging out nearby. I share my home with my young male mix‑breed dog (born 12/6/24), a poodle/wire‑haired terrier mix who’s neutered, well‑behaved, and absolutely loves meeting new dog friends. He’s gentle, social, and always happy to have a buddy around, but I also make sure every visiting dog has space and downtime whenever they want it.

About: I'm a mature educated adult allowed by my animals to stay in their home. I've cared for dogs and cats my whole life. With a fenced yard, dog door that leads to an enclosed outdoor space (catio with small sized dog door,) and little dogs and cats living here- your safe & friendly pet will love playing all day. I work from home and keep a close eye on the pack with frequent play breaks. No kids, no distractions. I'm 3 minutes from my vet, in case of an emergency. I am comfortable and familiar with giving meds. I love animals of all ages, and senior pets are my soft spot. I have a guest room that can be used for privacy if your pet prefers their space from other animals. I'll sleep in there and make sure they are kept company. I will send you lots of photos and can provide you access to the catio cam if desired. Looking forward to welcoming your friendly pet into our pack! I work from my kid-free home and spend a large part of my life playing with animals. Treats, toys, cuddles, and creating nicknames keep me busy. I've been giving medicine to dogs and cats twice a day for 10+ years. You can trust me to follow through with medical needs. Water gets refilled daily and stainless steel bowls keep water clean. Dogs can run around in the securely fenced yard and let themselves out through the dog door to the enclosed catio at their leisure. My yard has space for dogs to play. No chemicals are used on plants or yard. Your sweet and safe animals are welcome here, and will be safe with my sweet and playful cats and little dogs.

About: I usually take myself for a walk in the morning and afternoon, let me take your precious pooch along with me! Big dogs have always been a large part of my life. I grew up with a Newfoundland Retriever mutt and my most recent dog was a lab mix. I spend my Sundays at college walking dogs at the local humane society. I am comfortable with all breeds and have experience with dogs that have health issues. I currently work from home Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with lots of weekend availability. I would love to take your dog for a walk in both the morning and afternoon! I am extremely gentle with every dog I encounter, but know how to assert myself as the alpha when walking them. I had to go through special training through the Humane Society to walk dogs from all types of backgrounds.

About: As a pre-veterinary student, I provide more than just pet sitting—I bring knowledge, patience, and a genuine passion for animal care. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals through both personal ownership and animal care work. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs, including administering medications when needed. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll provide attentive, reliable care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. I'm currently home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Aside from occasional appointments and errands, I'm home throughout the day. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, as I have pets of my own with established care schedules. Adding your pet into that routine allows me to provide consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication (if needed), and plenty of companionship. I always work to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, medical needs, and any household rules so I can provide care that's both safe and consistent. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise interactions. I carefully introduce new situations at each pet's comfort level and never leave animals in unsafe situations. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any specific care requests exactly as directed. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a pre-veterinary student, I'm attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or health and won't hesitate to contact you—and, if necessary, seek veterinary care—if I have concerns.

About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘‍♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕‍🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘‍♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I’m here to meet them where they are.

About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Wildwood

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 194 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Wildwood. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wildwood commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 194 sitters in Wildwood, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

With Rover, you can find a trustworthy, loving pet sitter to take care of your dog while you're at work or have a day full or errands. Stays are booked on Rover every minute of every day, and more than 92% of the population lives within a short drive of one of the more 40,000 sitters who've listed their services on Rover. That way, you're sure to find a doggy day care who's right for your needs. We're proud that 95% of our sitters have 100% 5-star reviews, and we think your dog will love them too.
