Pet Sitting in Whitson

About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. About: I’ve been a reliable dog sitter for family and friends for 25 years. I’m excited to meet new dog friends and enjoy making memories with your pet! I am a flexible stay at home mom with one dog of my own. I am able to assist families on a short notice or plan ahead! I have one dog in my home that is friendly with other dogs. About: i have hands on experience working in pet care for 2 years and counting. Having worked as an operations manger at a shelter where i oversaw all pet care, handling, medications , feeding and etc! Currently, i work at a doggy day care/ boarding facilty! Where i continue to provide attentive care, manage group play time, maintain a safe environment for all the dogs!! My background is combined with leadership and a huge compassion for all animals! I currently work at a doggy daycare/ boarding facilty. i have a fairly consistent schedule of M-F 6am-3pm!! which will allow me to have some flexibility & reliably plan around schedules and make accommodations as needed! While i do live in apartment with a large unfenced grassy area , i provide a safe , supervised outdoor time using leashed or long leads if preferred for exercise & potty breaks! Inside, pets are kept comfortable in a pet- friendly environment shared with my dog & 2 cats! I ensure all pets will be monitored closely at all times , given plenty of attention & kept on regular routines to feel at home. I’m willing to accommodate as much as i can to make your pets feel as comfortable s possible!

About: I’ve been a life-long animal lover and pet caretaker for my own furry family members and others as well. I’ve cared for small cats and dogs up to 100+ pound doggos. If your pet needs to be picked up or carried that’s no issue for me! About: I have had animals my entire life, I’ve had little dogs and big dogs! I currently have 5 dogs, goats, chickens, pigs and three horses! I’m very comfortable with all animals. I’m flexible with what you need done, and I am comfortable giving medication if needed. I am a stay at home mom to a sweet 4 month old, but occasionally work as a hospice nurse. I am available any time I’m not working! I will treat your fur babies the way I would want mine treated and loved. I have hired people to take care of my animals plenty of times, and I know the trust it takes.

About: I've never not had pets in my life. I've had one dog - a jack russel terrier who lived to be an old man of 16. I used to volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter as a dog walker, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to know a new dog and seeing their distinct personalities shine through. I'm currently working Tues-Sat 3-10pm, so I am available for morning or late night check-ins and Sunday/Monday day long care. I can be pretty flexible, so feel free to reach out and see if we can work something out that works for you. I cannot currently take pets into my home, but I am comfortable following whatever routine your pet is used to. The more details you can leave me, the better. I want my care to be as seamless and stress-free for your pet as possible.

“Kylene is terrific. We were in the area for vacation and were able to get out for some long hikes and activities because of her. She has been wonderful with both our dogs who have very different needs, a 1 1/2 year old super energetic puppy and a 12 1/2 year old year slower senior dog. She did several drop-in visits and each time we came home to two happy, calm pups. Kylene was responsive, remembered all the info about each dog and treated them and our rental home as we would.
