From the start of the meet and greet I knew that they would be able to give him the patient care and attention we wanted him to have while we were away. They were detail oriented and asked thoughtful questions in order to understand his needs and routines. Before the stay, they were responsive and communicative making sure to confirm all the details. During the stay they provided the perfect amount of updates (including photos and videos) so we were assured he was doing well but still able to be present during our trip. We felt at ease knowing that he was well cared for and could tell that they were doing everything they could to help him feel comfortable while we were away. The cherry on top was that we came home to a clean house! They went above and beyond to clean up after themselves and leave our home better than they found it. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).
