“Our Winston loved his time with Kent and his family. He was treated like one of the family. Several updated to keep us from worrying about our boy also. Highly recommend!!”

“The Cross family took excellent care of our English Bulldog while we travelled over the holidays. We had lots of picture updates and had a great experience. We will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend!”
“Kimmy did such a great job of sending us pictures and status updates throughout Jewels’ days. It’s obvious that she is committed to the little things that provide peace of mind.”

“I have so many AMAZING things to say about Melissa and Roy!! First off, they are super communicative and quick with responses which put me at ease. From the meet and greet, all the way to pick up, they stayed communicating and sending pictures of our precious pup. During the stay, Melissa ended up needing to take our dog to the vet and was super nice and thoughtful with the entire process. They kept me updated all week long and I just know our pup enjoyed his time with them. They are some of the nicest and more caring people in the world and I know they took the absolute best care of our dog. To be honest, I dont think he wanted to leave because I know he enjoyed all the play time and yard for his walks. I cannot thank you both enough for loving on Pilot like we do and all the play time his heart desired. I trust these two with our dogs life and will certainly be using them again for pet sitting!!”

“Absolutely happy with Jessica! She kept me updated with pics and text messages and even gave my pup a bath before I picked him up! Her rates are reasonable and she is professional! Thanks Jessica for taking care of Waffles!”

“Melissa was amazing. We were really nervous about leaving our senior dog for the week but Melissa really calmed our nerves. She sent daily updates on Mugsy and was consistent with communication. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and felt welcomed in her home.”

“This was our first time using Rover and a sitter like this.. Bentley has some separation anxiety but Arile took him right in and walked him and loved on him and made him feel right at home. She was great. Would highly recommend her and will use her again for sure.”

“Derek and Kristina are amazing dog sitters! From our initial communication to picking up my dog, the experience was easy and comfortable. I have an elderly dog who is my baby and I never worried while he was in their care. Super sweet people, beautiful home, and the love for dogs really shines through.”

“Thank You Kelli. She was very supportive and communicative. My fur baby had diarrhea and I had no idea even before dropping him go her place. Kelli communicated it and his well being to us throughout his stay at her place. She was very helpful and understanding.”

“Jayci was amazing with my dog Chase. She let me get comfortable with leaving him with her and sent me pictures, updates, and videos throughout his stay with her. She was extremely nice and very capable at handling multiple large dogs together. Chase had an amazing time and was a happy tired dog when I got him back home.”
“Keri was extremely accommodating and professional during scheduling and throughout our fur baby’s stay. You can tell she knows her K9s and really loves them all. We had a rough start introducing our pup to hers, but Keri ensured our pup was comfortable and even noticed her needing extra privacy at times. She also gave us daily updates, pics and videos of her which put us at great ease!”

“My Oliver loved his stay with Whitney and we would most definitely use her services again. She sent me pictures and kept me updated on how he was doing throughout his stay. She even taught him how to use the doggy door. =)”

About: I have a wide array of experience with caring for dogs and cats—from the corgi puppy who barks through the night to the one eyed 18 year old deaf and blind Shih Tzu who just needed love and my current 9 year old rescue who loves cuddles and walks. I have experience administering medication, working with tricky meal routines, cleaning and sanitizing after potty accidents, and giving lots of love and pets. I am a teacher at a local high school and am free all day every day during the summer and before 8:00 am and after 4:30 pm on weekdays during the school year as well as full availability on the weekends. My pets are an integral part of my family and I start and end the day with a dog walk. I have a fenced backyard. There IS a pool, but I also have a 10x10 cage back there for potty breaks if you have a water loving dog that you don’t want in the pool. I have my own four legged crew: Ebby the funny fat cat and Teddy the sweet rescue dog. We do have stairs in our home but if you have an older dog that struggles with arthritis, I can stay downstairs with them while they are in my home.
“Nataly was great with communication and professional and personable. This was our first time using a sitter and she made the process great and provided updates with pictures. We will definitely be returning!”

“Alexandra did a wonderful job caring for our pup Leo. She would send us updates/photos through out our trip and I appreciated her love/care for our dog. I’d definitely recommend and would rebook with her in the future!”
“Salene took such great care of my dog! I was a little nervous since it was her first time being around a cat, but Salene was incredibly patient with the introduction and made sure she felt comfortable. She truly treated my dog like her own, and I loved getting updates and photos of them playing together. I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!”

“This was my first time boarding outside of a pet resort and my dogs appeared to be well cared for. My oldest dog had started having seizures when boarded due to anxiety, and he had no issues with Silvana. Thank you!”

“We are so happy to find Christy to look after our 1 year old Mochi. Christy is caring and very accommodating. Mochi had a great time hanging out with Christy, her 2 dogs, and her son. She keep us updated with photos and quickly reply our message. Will definitely use her service again.”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Whitesboro home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Whitesboro.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
