Pet Sitting in Whitemarsh Island

About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a cattle farm, volunteered with horses, and I’ve been working at a vet for 3 years! I’m currently applying to vet school as well! I can’t wait to meet your pets :) I am in my last semester of college so I have one class from 9-10 MWF. I have a class from 9:30-12 on Tuesdays followed by a 2-4:45. And on Thursdays I just have the 2-4:45. Other than that, I will be in Savannah able to help out! Please reach out with any questions! If you have a yard I will take your dogs outside and play with them, if they are good with going on walks in a neighborhood I can do that too! If I’m just coming by a couple times a day to take them out, I can do leash or no leash depending on your preference and how they are trained and they will get some play time as well.

About: I have owned and cared for both dogs, cats, and other animals since I was a child growing up on a farm in North Dakota. I now live in Savannah and am looking for extra hours while working part time in human services. My passions revolve around caring for all living beings and prioritizing safety and quality care. I currently have a 13 year old labradoodle and two cats who are my entire world. I am available to be your pet’s 2nd best friend on weekends all day and every weekday evening! I currently do therapy part-time for children with autism spectrum disorder. This generally goes all morning into the afternoon. I am free on weekends and on weekday evenings! I live in a pet-friendly community with plenty of grassy areas and paths to explore. There is also a small dog park very close to my home! I am a pet owner so my home is set up to be pet-friendly and safe for your pet.

About: I worked at a veterinary clinic and doggy daycare for 3 years! I have about 10 years of pet care experience and absolutely love all animals. I am also a foster through Savannah's Humane Society and when I am not fostering, I love taking care of others' fur babies! I am a current PA student so I have plenty of free time during the week and over the weekends to care for your pets. I am working clinicals so my schedule changes about each month, but I keep my calendar openings updated! I live in a pet-friendly apartment and will adjust my care based on your pet's needs! If allowed, I love snuggling on the couch or bed with pets but am also able to crate them/give them less free reign depending on their behavioral needs and comfortability.

About: Dogs are our family and I will treat them as so. I have taken care of other families dogs since I was 12 and have had dogs since I was 3. I am a big dog fan and love any breed. I am a student so my schedule is very flexible in between classes. I can take care of animals before and after my classes if needed. I will always respect your house and your rules that you set inside your home. Please make me aware of any rules you would like respected.

About: My neighbors have relied on me to walk their dogs based on the schedule we created. A couple families have relied on me to stay at their houses during summer time to watch their pets. I just recently moved to Savannah for college and am looking for some walking opportunities to do during the day between classes and when I’m not at my part-time job! I will always be around them to keep an eye on them and can even set reminders for when to give them food, meds, let them outside, etc. I am always around my own dogs at home. I love hanging out and playing with them outside.

About: I've taken care of dogs and various animals of all sizes since I was 8. I have lived with my own personal dogs, and have helped cared for friends and family's pets over the years. I've been tasked to walk, feed and play with dogs of all sizes while owners are on vacation or simple need help while they're at work. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was little and for the past couple years I have been taking care of pets for friends and family! I have classes Monday-Thursday but only 1-2 classes a day. I can easily make time in between classes if needed. I have a car so I have accessible transportation. I will play with the pets inside and outside, give them love, and fill whatever needs you have for them like they are my own.

About: Hi, My mom trained rodeshian ridgebacks since I was a baby, I grew up with dogs and I’m fairly good at training. I love dogs and all animals, and I treat them as my own. I have a dog myself and I work from home, so I plan to have dogs over when my schedule allows for it and try to follow the new dog’s routine as best as I can It’s very important to learn the dog’s routines, eating habits, and preferences to create a safe environment that allows him or her to relax, I take this job very seriously coming from a background that did this professionally. I’m very responsible and I do a thorough interview to make sure I know as much as I need to know about the dog before I make a commitment.

I have grown up caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments and love the daily process of caring for them. I am a very active person as well so your dog will enjoy their time with me while you enjoy your time elsewhere.
