“Joanne immediately won over my pups, even my shy boy who usually takes his time warming up to someone. She sent me pics throughout the day and even extended her stay because one of my girls was nervous because of a thunderstorm. My dogs love her which means everything!”

“Elizabeth was great! She came to the house to meet the animals before we left for vacation to make sure we felt comfortable. She’s a great communicator and we got multiple pictures updates everyday we were away!”

“Elizabeth doesn't just sit your dogs she adopts them. Our Ella got very sick while we were gone and Elizabeth took such good care of her and kept us informed. I really can't say enough about how Elizabeth went out of her way to take care of our sick girl, her genuine concern and compassion was matched by actions.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabriel. We met with our dogs, to see how they would be together and he and I talked about the weekend I needed puppy-sitting. Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. I don't travel very often, but I would like to confirm that he is a magnificent pet sitter and I hope he gets lots of business because he deserves all good things!!!”

“Susan was great!! From our original meet and greet through her first house sitting while I was out of town. Communication was spot on, pictures of Rocky, walks even when it rained ALL DAY LONG. I recommend and have already rebooked a second house sitting.”

“Tresalyn is fantastic! She house sat for us and took wonderful care of our dog, cat, chickens and fish while we were gone. She took the time to get to know our animals ahead of time with a pre visit and was so kind and considerate when we met. She made sure she understood the needs of our high energy, anxious dog and gave her plenty of exercise and lots of love while we were away. It was clear to us when we returned that she had cared for our home and pets with deep love and consideration. She also sent pictures and updates regularly while we were away, which we greatly appreciated! We are so grateful we found her! We can’t recommend Tresalyn enough!”

“Kenia was absolutely amazing with biscuit. He was actually sad when she left. She took him on several walks and entertained him all day. I’m so grateful for people like her! You can tell how much she loves animals. 100% recommend to anyone needing a dog sitter!”

“Elizabeth was communicative and reliable while I was away. She sent regular updates, took great care of my pup, and even watered the outdoor plants, which I really appreciated. I came home to a happy pet and everything in good shape. Thank you!”

“Kara did a wonderful job staying with our babies. She cared for them as though they were her own and was very attentive to their needs. She respected our space and theirs. We will definitely be reaching out in the future with any other needs. Gunner, Zara and Simba loved her.”

“We were so excited to meet Valerie. It’s hard to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pets with. When I first met her I knew I had nothing to worry about. Our two pups were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend you hiring Valerie. I will definitely use her again.”

“Johnnie was great. This was my first time having Johnnie keep Rocky, but I’ll definitely use again. She took great care of him and kept me posted on how things were going through messages and photos.”

“Renee was the absolute sweetest and so so caring and loving towards our pups. We felt so at ease and reassured having her there to tend to our dogs while we were away. She was very communicative and responsive and left plenty of updates and pictures so we could keep up to date while gone. I would definitely have Renee help us out again in the future. She went above and beyond to care for not only our two dogs, but also to take care of our space (vacuuming, watering plants, and stripping the bed at the end of her visit). You can truly tell how much she loves and cares for animals, and that’s the exact kind of person you want taking care of your pets while away.”

About: Hello and thanks for looking at my profile! I had to close my books for awhile and have just reopened them so please excuse the lack of recent reviews. I have worked in animal care for 25 years. I've been a trainer, groomer, vet assistant and worked at multiple boarding and day care facilities over the years. I have my own dog-friendly home with a very secure fenced yard and a dog door. Should you board your pet in my home, they will be allowed on furniture and on bed...or not, if you prefer. If I am doing a drop-in or overnight at your residence I take the upmost care to be respectful and safe while at your home/ property. I am currently only doing 2 nights at a time for overnight's at pet owner's house. I feel that caring for animals is my calling and I'm very comfortable and confident in my abilities in this role. If I'm caring for your precious pets I'll literally guard them with my life and indulge them as if they were my own. My dog, Louis is a 4 year old Catahoula/ Great Pyrenees mix who is very friendly and sweet, so he is great company for other dogs I'm boarding. I also have a "foster-fail" named Johnny who is a 2 year old lab mix. However, if either are too enthusiastic for your pet I can easily give yours space from them. I can only accept dogs that are well socialized and have no history of aggression with other animals. I am usually not gone from the house more than 2-4 hours at a time, so pets staying with me need to be able to tolerate being alone briefly, preferably in a crate. I have cared for all sorts of animals including reptiles, birds, guinea pigs, pet rats, goats, horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, etc. Some of these I haven't taken care of in awhile, but am up for the job if you are willing to give me very clear instructions. I'm also always happy to take care of plants.

“Maysen came to the campground we were staying at to keep our dog for the day, since the scenic train ride we wanted to take didn’t allow dogs. She arrived early, was very polite and friendly, and Waylon loved her. We were very pleased with her service. Would recommend and book with her again.”

About: I was absolutely obsessed with my late bulldog and toy poodle. Raising them and spending time with them each day was so much fun and fulfilling. I have been dog sitting, cat sitting and house sitting since I was 12. All through high school and both of my college degrees I continued to dog sit. I have not met a dog I haven't liked. Dogs are such a special animals. It's so fun to get to play, walk, cuddle up and just hang out with them. I'd feel lucky to be trusted to hang out with yours! Choosing my dog sitters in the past was such a stressful process because I take their care so seriously. I carry this seriousness into caring for others fur babies and treat them how I would expect my Dogsitter to treat mine! I work from home with great flexibility and have holidays off of work since I work in education. Let me know what type of schedule suits your fur baby best! I have a large backyard and a deck. Let me know how your dog best is accommodated. I've had dogs who needed to be in their crated in a new environment and others who wanted to sleep in my room or the couch. However is totally fine with me!

About: I love dogs plain and simple and am hoping to do something more constructive with my free time. I have owned and raised dogs since I was a kid and have a deep affection for them. I am very active so I can wear your pup out or can keep it calm and indoors if need be. I recently lost my Lab, Zapa, to old age and could use all of the puppy love I can get. I am open and flexible to many different situations so special requests are welcome. Your dog will get plenty of attention while I am around! I am currently working part time and would love to spend my free time with pups. Available most weekends and weekdays and am usually able to check on pets during the day. I am currently renting an apartment on a farm that doesn't allow other dogs, but, I have a vehicle and flexible schedule to come to the pet most times of day. Happy to take the dog on walks and/or adventures or just let them out and give them some attention.

“Gray with my pup and sent pictures!”

Brighton S.
“Brighton Smith is an excellent dog sitter and looked after our dog Mutley for over 2 years. As part of my job requires a lot of travelling, Brighton was very flexible in accommodating my dog sitting requests and was also able to stay at our house to ensure Mutley was in his natural environment. She is a very caring and loving person who loves dogs and Mutley was always happy to see her! When we would return from our travelling, Mutley was always a happy dog - which means he was well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brighton to dog sit/dog walk!”

Thomas C.
“Thomas was the most loving, caring and best dog Dad to his sweet Zapa boy. I’ve never know a bond like the one Thomas and Zapa had. They were the best of buds.
