About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

I currently work at a vet hospital part time on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday times ranging from 7am-3pm, I often don’t get scheduled all days as well as all of the mentioned time every week so please still reach out! I also offer training services just an upcoming newer trainer as I’m a dog trainer with a career diploma in the field. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I’m hoping to be able to take care of others pets near me while earning money on the side. Services I can provide would include feeding them, administration of medications (if needed), training (if owner would like), bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, brushing (cost extra depending on service, brushing is free unless matted) take them outside to play and potty, any other services owner may need. I currently work part time at a veterinary clinic as stated in the pet care experience box, I’m pretty flexible and will try my best to work with you! I have a backyard, and 5 acres of land. Along with ample room for them to run. We can chill and watch a movie together, or go outside and play with the hose and run around.

I worked for the company Dogtopia (a great dog daycare/boarding facility) as a canine coach and assistant manager. I worked hands on in the room with the dogs during open play, and one on one in grooming and training sessions. Unfortunately, my husband travels for work so a traditional 9-5 doesn’t always work for me, hence finding my own lane with Rover! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend. :) I work from home remotely part time as a paralegal, and outside of that I am a stay at home wife. Pet care fits seamlessly into my life and I am open to working with clients to help accommodate special time needs. I cannot accommodate watching your pup at my own home because I have my own rescue who does not want to share the space. Thank you for understanding!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to help care for their beloved four-legged friends for years, so I know I can care for yours with as much love as I'd give my own. I've had my own little girl live with me even while at college and I know how important they can be to us. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of morning or evening availability to take care of your loved ones. I am also available on most weekends. I have an electric fence at my home, but my dogs are trained well enough that they can often be let out without worry. If I am watching your fur baby, I will provide one-on-one attention and only give them interaction with my own pets if we discuss it prior.
