Micaya deserves more than five stars. She was gentle, patient, and attentive to detail with Charlie. My German Shepard takes time to warm up to, but during our first meet and greet with Micaya, Charlie quietly lay next to her feet while we were talking. Micaya is Amazing she shared pictures and updates. Followed all instructions and was on time for scheduled walks. Micaya, you are loving and caring of our Fur family members.

About: I have cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I currently have a Goldendoodle that I've raised for the past two years while balancing Division I lacrosse and college academics, and I also have two Golden Retrievers at home. Being a dog owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and providing plenty of love and attention. As a future nurse, I am detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to providing safe, dependable care. Pet owners can count on me to be trustworthy, attentive to their pet's individual needs, and communicative throughout their time away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I’m available 24/7 and I am very flexible and understand summers can be busy and unpredictable. I will work with whatever time works best for you and your animals :) I have a fenced yard and a dog of my own that loves company and is very friendly. I have creates if need be and also in a nice neighborhood for long walks :)

Caitlyn was wonderful with my dad's dog. She was on time, reliable, stayed in good communication with great pics to show how much the dog enjoyed her walk and play time. It was a huge help, since my dad has had health challenges which interfered with good dog walks. Five stars!

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I was previously also a pet sitter for about 8 years while also caring for my own pets. I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pet lots of attention and love. There are 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 8) in the house. We do not currently have any pets of our own. We have a fenced in back yard and a great neighborhood for walks. Your pet is free to roam our house or we can crate. Whatever works for them.

About: I work from home with a flexible schedule. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well. No matter the age, the work day is a long time for them to be alone and I’ll get them outside for potty and back in for some pets and snuggles. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. I have base access and can also get them to the vet if you can’t get away from work. I will come over and ensure your home is safe and secure upon entering and leaving. If they’re not sleeping in the living room I’ll go find them in the house and get them outback in your fenced yard or on a walk to get their potty and exercise break in.

We had a last minute trip and Victoria saved the day. She took great care of our dog Poe who has separation anxiety. She made sure he felt comfortable and safe. She also sent plenty of pictures and reported back on how he was acting on his walks which made us feel more comfortable as well. I’d definitely use her again.

You can tell Alexis is an animal lover watching her interact with your pets. My dog absolutely ADORES Alexis! She is very punctual, attentive, and extremely kind. I am very picky about who I trust with my pup (she has an autoimmune disorder that can come on out of nowhere) and I feel very comfortable having her look after my dog knowing she’s in good hands.

I especially love to bond and play with dogs! I ensure that your dogs are going to safe and have the best experiences with me!🤗 I'm currently working part-time, so I would have plenty of time to be with your fur babies! I am typically free on the weekdays from Monday to Friday. The earliest I can do a scheduled appointment for around 8 hours. My time ranges from the earliest at 8am and the latest at 9pm. In my home, I get rid of any harmful items on the ground or in sight of my pet. I clean my pet's bowl daily. I make sure to keep them company. I never leave them unsupervised for long hours. For your pet I will adhere to any strict feeding or medicine routines and communicate quick updates.

About: I’ve had animas my entire life from dogs to chickens, rabbits, a chinchilla, turtles, a bearded dragon, cats, and more! Dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’ve trained with dogs my whole life. I worked at a dog kennel for 7 years, trained dogs professionally for 4, and recently graduated from an accredited dog training school called Starmark! I have also been trusted and recommended by many people who know me well and they have all given nothing but good feedback and compliments, I take pride in my animal care! I am currently between jobs after graduating and so I have a lot of free time to dedicate towards helping people and animals! You may message me with any further inquiries or questions you might have! While I do not have a fenced in yard, I am still very capable of providing lots of enrichment for dogs! My dogs go to parks, they walk on long lines outside to give them a lot of space, we go on sniffy walks, they get lick mats, enrichment toys, mental games, training, and so much more! My yard is also very large featuring a large in ground pool (fenced in) and multiple large areas of grass and lots of woods behind my house! I also have chickens that while kept in a secure, separate area, help keep the tick population minimal!

About: I have taken care of animals for over a year now at a dog daycare/boarding centre in a variety of different circumstances. From Mastiff’s to Chihuahuas, I am confident taking care of various different sized dogs with a variety of different dietary needs from raw diets to kibble diets, medical needs from dogs that get medication once a day to dogs that get medication several times a day, and activity needs from dogs that need regular exercise to senior dogs that don’t need to be exercised. I have also had experience handling dogs that are extremely nervous around new people, dogs that can resource guard toys, and dogs that are highly reactive. I am a full-time commuter college student with large gaps between my morning and afternoon classes which I can travel to and from the owners house to let their dogs out and play with during. The only time that I am unable to stop by the house between classes is on Thursdays where I will be gone from 8 am to 2 pm due to my in-person lab course. I only offer services at my clients house so as of not to subject the pet to unnecessary stress from being in a new environment. I can administer any medication that is not via injection, I can cater to a variety of diets ranging from raw meat every day to freshly cooked food three times a day to kibble twice a day depending on the dogs needs, I have personal leashes that I can use or I can use the owners leashes to take the dog on walks as often as request/needed.

About: Family and friends have entrusted me with their fur babies for walks, bathing and occasionally dog sitting when owners go on vacation knowing they are well cared for and loved with many cuddles and fun . If you have an emergency or desperately need pet service, please reach out! I’m willing to work with you! I work a rotating schedule that gives me a good amount of time off between work days. Please reach out to collaborate a game plan with me that’s more in depth and specific! Cheerio! My clients fur babies are well cared for with walks, play time, potty breaks, bath time, feedings and of course lots of cuddles and tummy rubs. Dogs are therapeutic beings that bring joy and comfort to the soul that will forever be family. With my occupation, I am well aware of my surroundings. Safety is one of my top priorities especially if your fur baby does not get along with other dogs, I can work with it and handle it with little to no problem. I have cared for dogs that are obedient to orders especially in open land and around others.

Wow! Rachael did such a good job caring for our two dogs, age 1 and 9. She was extremely communicative. She followed the directions that I left exactly. And when she had questions she contacted me. We had a great experience with Rachael, and will be sure to hire her again.

Rachael was great with my dogs. I contacted her the day before and she was available. My dogs usually take a few minutes to warm up to someone but they didn't have that issue with Rachel. She was great with my dogs and in the pictures they looked very happy.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your White Point Beach. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in White Point Beach.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
