Did a fantastic job with my two girls, who are both a handful on a walk. Particularly my nine month old labrador retriever. It was a huge help to me, and I will definitely be open to book her again!

About: For more than 25 years, I have dedicated myself to providing exceptional care for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. What started as a lifelong passion for animals has evolved into decades of hands-on experience in pet sitting, dog walking, and overnight care. Over the last 25+ years, I have built a reputation based on absolute reliability, deep empathy, and a thorough understanding of animal behavior. Whether your pet is a high-energy puppy who needs structured exercise, an older companion requiring a gentle touch and strict medication schedules, or a shy rescue who needs time and patience to warm up, I adapt my approach to fit their unique personality. What Sets Me Apart: *Decades of Expertise: With 25+ years of experience, there are very few situations I haven't encountered. I am highly adept at reading animal body language, preventing stressful situations, and keeping pets calm, safe, and content. *Medication & Senior Care Specialization: I am fully comfortable administering oral medications, following precise dietary guidelines, and managing the specialized routines of senior or special-needs pets. *Flawless Reliability & Professionalism: I understand that leaving your pet can be stressful. My priority is your peace of mind. I maintain open communication, provide frequent and detailed updates with photos, and strictly adhere to your home and pet care rules. When your pets are under my care, they aren’t just being looked after—they are treated with the same respect, love, and attentiveness that I would demand for my own. I look forward to giving your furry family members a safe, comfortable, and joyful experience! Full-Time Presence & Flexible Care: Because I work from home full-time, my schedule revolves entirely around being present and available. I am here all day long, which means your pet won’t have to endure long hours of solitude. Working from home allows me to seamlessly blend my professional day with high-quality pet care, ensuring a consistent, reassuring human presence for your furry family member. What This Means for Your Pet: *All-Day Companionship & Supervision: Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks and a midday walk, or your cat loves curling up next to my laptop, I am around to provide companionship, monitoring, and affection throughout the day. *Strict Routine Adherence: Pets thrive on consistency. Because I don’t have a daily commute, I can strictly adhere to your pet's specific feeding windows, exercise routines, and medication schedules exactly when they expect them. *Perfect for Puppies, Seniors, & Special Needs: Being home all day allows me to easily manage the demanding schedules of energetic puppies who need structured attention, or senior pets who require extra bathroom breaks and close monitoring. *Flexible Breaks Dictated by Their Needs: My workflow allows me to take regular breaks to stretch my legs, play fetch in the yard, refresh water bowls, or simply offer some belly rubs, matching my daily rhythm to your pet's natural routine. Whether your pet is high-energy and needs active engagement or is a couch potato who just wants a human in the room, my work-from-home setup provides a safe, attentive, and highly flexible environment for their care. Uncompromising Safety Backed by Decades of Experience: With over 25 years of pet care experience, safety isn't just a checklist for me—it is an instinct. I understand that entrusting your beloved pet and your home to someone else requires immense trust. My priority is providing a secure, predictable, and hazard-free environment where your pet can relax and thrive, whether they are staying with me or I am visiting them in your home. Because I work from home and am here all day long, your pet is never left unsupervised for extended periods. This constant presence is the ultimate safety net, allowing me to monitor health, prevent separation anxiety, and immediately respond to any needs. Safety Protocol in My Home: *Constant Supervision: Working from home means eyes-on care. Pets are never left to roam unmonitored, and I maintain a highly structured environment to prevent any resource guarding or behavioral friction. *Pet-Proofed Spaces: My home is meticulously organized to ensure all cords, medications, toxic plants, and household hazards are entirely out of reach. *Secure Transitions: Doors and gates are strictly managed. I treat entryways with extreme caution to ensure "door-bolters" have zero opportunity to escape. Safety Protocol in Your Home: *Respect & Discretion: I treat your home with the utmost reverence, maintaining a clean space, securing all locks and alarms, and ensuring your privacy is fully protected. *Strict Adherence to Your Rules: I follow your exact instructions regarding off-limit rooms, crating, feeding, and neighborhood walking routes to keep your pet’s environment completely consistent. *Emergency Preparedness: Before you leave, I gather all emergency contacts, vet information, and preferred animal hospital locations so I am fully prepared for any scenario. Building Trust Through Transparency: I believe that communication is the foundation of trust. I am incredibly accessible. You can expect regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and videos, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. I care for every animal with the same vigilance, respect, and deep affection that I would demand for my own.

About: I've always loved pets. When I was 8, I received a book about dog care and breeds and studied it until I'd nearly had it memorized. I got my first dog when I was 11 and trained her myself. When she had puppies (through a certified breeder), I was responsible for de-sensitization and counterconditioning trainings. I love volunteering at the animal shelter while I'm unable to have pets due to my apartment. I can promise to give your pets almost as much love as you do! I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with and care for your dog or cat! If I have enough notice (around 3-5 days) ahead of time, I can make most arrangements work! My apartment currently does not allow for pets, so they will not be visiting my personal home but I will care for your pet in your home with your rules! Feel free to leave me as many detailed and personalized instructions as your pet may need :)

About: I've owned animals throughout my life. Currently, I have a lasb/mastiff mix, 3 cats, 4 lizards and a trantula that I share my home with. I'll care for your pet to the best of my abilities and they will always be loved, safe, and protected In my day to day life, my fiance and I share duties in the indie bookshop and creative space that we own. In the mornings, I get ready and take our dog outside. I always pick up the poop and dispose of it - it's a requirement in our townhome community. I then go in and feed the dog and give her any medications and supplements she may be on. Usually, I leave the house and my fiance takes care of her letting her out and taking a walk during the day. We do have a fenced dog park one block over that we frequently visit to let the pup run around off-leash for a bit and play with any other dogs that may be there and/or throw the ball. In the evening, we always go for a nightly walk before bed. Then our dog has a comfy bed at the foot of our bed and some stairs so she can get on the bed and lay with us. Your dog will get the same experience and care as our sweet girl, along with a playmate so boredom won't be an option. All dogs will be on leash outside of the home and waste will be disposed of properly. There's a fenced dog park near by that will allow your dog to run around off leash with our dog, who is very friendly and patient - an older spayed large dog, gentle as can be. Your dog will get the same care and protection as ours including no access to the cat box or open food they can grab, lots of love and attention, access to clean water always, and extra emphasize on anything you tell me your dog needs. I take our pets health very seriously.

About: I have had various animals throughout my life. I grew up with animals both inside and outside of my home including numerous dogs (multiple breeds), cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters; as well as rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, and horses outdoors. I know that happy animals are ones that are well cared for, feel loved, and are respected. I worked briefly at a dog & cat daycare/boarding facility to help a friend for just under a year which was beneficial in learning to address multiple animals at once in a combined group care area. Following provided procedures in this capacity was critical to keep all pets healthy, safely contained, and happy in group play. I have never lived in a pet-free home and wouldn't want to! Pets bring the magic and fun to a home and they love unconditionally while challenging us to be better humans. I am currently working in the Logan area Tues-Th with a lengthy lunch break in the middle of my day. I would love to spend the time walking the park with your fur baby so they can stretch their legs and get the wiggles out mid-day. Or we can spend the time together in your yard if you prefer they stay close to home. I am also available in the Logan area on weekends as well. My pets are my family, I go to great lengths to keep them safe and happy. I believe every pet parent feels the same about their own pets so I promise to treat your fur babies as I would my own. I will follow all provided instructions from each pet parent regarding their individual dog or cat. I understand that dogs and cats are just like kids with their own personalities, needs, likes and dislikes, so every instruction provided from you, their parents, will be followed with exactness to provide the care you would hope for and expect. I love to provide picture report cards while with your fur babies so you can have piece of mind that they are healthy and happy while you are away.

About: I have lived with animals my entire life. Growing up I had a wide variety of animals. I have had experience caring for large and small dogs alike, senior dogs and cats. I have experience administering medication to many of these animals as well. I recently moved from the Midwest where I was a volunteer search and rescue member- closely working with the search dog teams and assisting as a handler as needed. I have experience working with these dogs in and out of the field. I have also trained in K-9 first aid. I work evenings M-F. My mornings and early afternoon are relatively free during the week. And I absolutely love going to visit some fur babies in the evening on my lunch break, or late at night visits after my shift. Currently, I'm fully available on the weekends for pet care as well. I can administer medications as needed. Your pet's safety and health are my number 1 priority. I can clean up after your pet as needed. Playtime, potty breaks, and snacks as well! And I will give them all the attention.

About: Our family first started with 2 puppies and have increased and decreased over the years. We love animals and dogs especially. I have self groomed my schnauzer for 10 years and have the tools to do bath care and simple grooming. We are currently at 4 kids and 2 dogs and 3 snakes. Kids ages 10-18. We live a block away from a canyon trail so extra walks and exercise is quick and easy! I am an intuitive massage therapist and have worked on several animals in and around injury, anxiety and emotional distress. I work part time nearby and in my home as a massage therapist. We are usually always around for weekends and holidays. With already two dogs we are very accustomed to regular care. I have a fence between the kitchen and living room that keeps pets in the main part of the home but also has easy access to a fenced in back yard through a doggie door. The pets become part of the family whether it’s taking them to bed or on walks or to play outdoors. We will do our best to follow the similar rules as your house such as where they sleep, allowed on furniture, etc.

So thankful that Avery was our Rover, we are traveling food vendors and we have odd hours and long hours and Avery was able to accommodate walking our dog twice a day plus feeding him for three days in a row. She’s very communicative, and very punctual, and even though she wasn’t feeling well on Saturday, she still came and walked our dog. I hope we can use her again next year as we plan on attending the summer fest festival in Logan again.

About: As a dog owner myself, including caring for a reactive dog, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, comfortable environment. I have experience with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and temperaments, and I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s reinforcing routines, administering medications, providing extra attention to senior dogs, or keeping up with an energetic puppy, I treat every pet like my own while keeping owners updated and giving them peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine as I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the day. I enjoy staying active with dogs through walks, playtime, and enrichment activities, and I can easily adapt my schedule to meet each pet’s needs while keeping owners updated and informed. I care for pets by maintaining their normal routine in the comfort of their own home. I follow feeding schedules, provide walks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention while ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages, treat every home with respect, and make sure pets receive the same level of care and love they would from their family.

About: Hi there! We are the Elwood's, a dog loving family of 7; 2 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. Holly is the main person in charge of pet care. She is home all day with the kids and dogs, so your pet will have all the attention desired without the need to kennel during the day. Holly has always had dogs in her life, and wouldn't have it any other way. She has also owned, and cared for fish, gerbils, hamsters, birds, a bunny, and a hedgehog. We own a house with a large fully fenced backyard. The yard has several shaded areas, and a dog door that leads to a boarded off area in the garage for outdoor dogs to sleep in, or cool off. Indoor dogs can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. We enjoy going for walks daily to the big park near our home. When weather permits we also like to spend time hiking in the mountains near our home. Our kids love, and are gentle, and kind with all pets. We truly adore having new furry friends over to play and love! About our dogs: Bruce is a 6 year old Cockapoo. We rescued him when he was 2 from the Humane Society. He is timid, sweet, and gentle. He likes meeting new friends, but is great at giving space when needed. He's a friend to everyone. Willis is a 7 year old Miniature Pinscher. We have had him since he was just a puppy. He is energetic, smart, and playful. He likes meeting new dogs, but takes a little longer to warm up to them. Once he's comfortable he'll be your loyal friend for life. I'm a stay at home mom of 3, so I can provide all of the love your fur baby needs. We are happy to provide lots of cuddles and belly sctatches I have a large fully fenced yard, and 2 dogs to keep your furry best friend company when they are outdoors. Indoors we provide lots of snuggles and love.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your White Horse Village. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in White Horse Village.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in White Horse Village. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
