“Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. About: I have had pets my whole life. I love them like family. I have raised puppies and have taken care of senior dogs with medications. I will keep things organized and clean. Both my husband and I work from home. I only work part time and can make lots of time for play with your dogs. They will not spend long hours with nobody at home as both of us are home majority of the time! I have a fenced yard and one 13 year old cockapoo who is friendly with other dogs. I do have 2 outdoor cats that will be around but generally keep their distance from dogs.

About: My family had a dog from the time I was a baby; my parents made sure I not only helped by playing with him, but walking, feeding, and grooming him, too. Later we had a cat and another dog. The cat was mine, so litterbox duty was always on me. So I have years of experience living with and taking care of cats and dogs, and I would LOVE the opportunity to show your fur baby some good old fashioned TLC! I do gig work for a living, so my schedule is super flexible, especially if you give me prior notice! I do not work on Sundays and Thursdays, unless it's an extended-stay situation. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was younger, I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, horses, and even livestock! I have experience feeding, giving water, brushing horses, and more! I have a cat and a parrot of my own, so taking care of animals is in my daily routine. Making sure they are fed, have water, and are cleaned up after and most importantly happy! Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to have your pets at my home, but I think having them in their own home keeps them happy and content. For potty time, I would go with dogs outside for safety and to keep a close eye on them.
About: I’ve fostered 5 different dogs from the Humane Society of Utah (3 wks - 2 mo each). I was responsible for feeding, exercising, administering meds, and providing water for the dogs. I volunteered for Second Chance for Homeless Pets, where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, completed simple cleaning tasks, & bathed a dog. I cometed 4 semesters of the vet tech program at Broadview University, where I learned about proper veterinary care, including administering meds, making general health assessments, walking dogs, cleaning kennels/clinic/classrooms, etc. During this time, I completed a preceptorship at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital, where I was able to sit in on a surgery. I worked as a vet tech at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 months. I also worked at The City Pet Club Dog Daycare & Boarding facility and I’ve been dog sitting for the past 6 years. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. In the mornings, I get ready and take our dog outside. I always pick up the poop and dispose of it - it's a requirement in our townhome community. I then go in and feed the dog and give her any medications and supplements she may be on. Usually, I leave the house and my fiance takes care of her letting her out and taking a walk during the day. We do have a fenced dog park one block over that we frequently visit to let the pup run around off-leash for a bit and play with any other dogs that may be there and/or throw the ball. In the evening, we always go for a nightly walk before bed. Then our dog has a comfy bed at the foot of our bed and some stairs so she can get on the bed and lay with us. Your dog will get the same experience and care as our sweet girl, along with a playmate so boredom won't be an option. All dogs will be on leash outside of the home and waste will be disposed of properly. There's a fenced dog park near by that will allow your dog to run around off leash with our dog, who is very friendly and patient - an older spayed large dog, gentle as can be. Your dog will get the same care and protection as ours including no access to the cat box or open food they can grab, lots of love and attention, access to clean water always, and extra emphasize on anything you tell me your dog needs. I take our pets health very seriously.

I also have resident farm hands that love animals, offering extra social interaction and playtime. I work full time on my 16 acre regenerative farm. Pets in my care get loads of love and attention. More active dogs can roam around the farm with me, always close by with a ball or toy. Less active, retired, older pups can hang out in my home and receive regular visits throughout the day. They will never go long without love and interaction. My home is big and spacious with lots of lounging areas. The farm has some fenced areas, and generally dogs do fine hanging out close by, or as needed can stay on a leash or a cabled run nearby. I alao have a 10 x 16 fenced kennel run available. Pets are never left outside unattended, but get loads of outside time if desired. I also have daily farm hands that all love animals and love to play with them. Pups love farm life! Did I mention they will get pasture-raised organic lamb and turkey treats if their parents allow it?

About: I grew up on a farm and have always owned both pets and farm animals. I live in a little home with a big backyard, fully fenced. I have a lovely springer spaniel, named Frankie and a Bengal cat. I work from home. I do run some errands through the week but I am home most of the time. I love to get out and get my dog moving on local trails or just for a quick walk. Pets can roam around my home while I am there. Preferably crate trained so I can put them in their crate if I have to run an errand. I let them out throughout the day and night for potty time in the backyard. I also like to take them for walks.

With so much space to roam there will be a lot of walks for your dog. Pets are allowed inside the home however they are not allowed on furniture or beds. I work as a baker 4 days a week and have weekends off. On days that I do work, I am usually off by noon, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets any day of the week. I want to make sure your pets needs are fulfilled to the fullest. I believe that trust and respect are of the utmost importance. I want to build a strong relationship with both you and your pets so you all feel comfortable with me being around them and taking care of them.
About: I’ve had animals my whole life from turtles to 100 pound dogs. I've always wanted a dog I can call my own but because I'm young and possibly moving soon it's just not the right time for me! So I want to give all my love to your pups! I also am married so I have some help with taking care of your pets! My husband’s name is Max. I have a flexible job and am home most of the morning and into the afternoons. My husband also will help me most of the time! I have two cats who aren’t the fondest of dogs but they’re more meow than bite so she'll just hide away from them if she's annoyed. I also have a fenced yard! It's not huge but it's enough to play a good game of fetch and go potty!
About: I grew up with 3 border collies in my home, so I’ve been helping with pet care for as long as I can remember. My husband and I adopted Penny, our sweet Australian Shepherd, two years ago and we have loved every second. I have never met a dog I didn’t love. I have often been told I have a knack for comforting anxious dogs. I work from home, so my schedule is fairly flexible during work hours. I often take my dog on a walk before work and in the evening after work. I’m flexible to leave work as needed and take dogs out as often as needed. I have a friendly Australian Shepherd who loves to play to keep your dog(s) company. My fur baby no longer uses her crate, so we have a crate that can be used for your dog when they visit if they like it. My husband is home in the evening after work to help with pet care.
About: I’ve fostered 5 different dogs from the Humane Society of Utah (3 wks - 2 mo each). I was responsible for feeding, exercising, administering meds, and providing water for the dogs. I volunteered for Second Chance for Homeless Pets, where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, completed simple cleaning tasks, & bathed a dog. I cometed 4 semesters of the vet tech program at Broadview University, where I learned about proper veterinary care, including administering meds, making general health assessments, walking dogs, cleaning kennels/clinic/classrooms, etc. During this time, I completed a preceptorship at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital, where I was able to sit in on a surgery. I worked as a vet tech at Banfield Pet Hospital for 3 months. I also worked at The City Pet Club Dog Daycare & Boarding facility and I’ve been dog sitting for the past 6 years. I have my own all natural dog treats and dog shampoo and a defurminator deshedding brush tool. I currently work from home and am very flexible and mobile for the purpose of taking care of your fur babies. I love all animals and would be privileged to watch yours. Water, food, treats, baths, walks, hiking, runs, dog park visits, dog pool visits, ball/toys, able to administer meds and address wounds, etc. I am a very good dog masseuse. Haha
About: My wife and I have been doing rover now for about 3 years already. She has a rover account, and we’d be happy to take care of your pups. There’s very little we can’t or won’t do to accommodate any need you make have from drop off to pick-up let us know. We love animals and I think there no better way to make some additional income then to share our home with your fur babies. Also if I need to come to your home I’m happy to make them as comfortable at home the way you do as possible, until you get back. I’m always aware plans change if I need to watch them longer, or we need to adjust pick-up and drop off times that will never be a problem. We joke that we let the dogs out let the dogs in and then it’s time, to do it all over again :-) we are called all the dogs, because we want all the dogs. We have a fully fenced yard, and 3 fur babies for your pets to have play with. We also have an industrial awesome dog pool for them to play in the water or to just use as a big dish :-)

“Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.”
