“Having Magan check in on Dot gave me such peace of mind. I didn't have to worry about my cat while I was away and the pictures she sent on her visits showed that my cat was just fine. She took the time to love on Dot which I know she loved! Magan showed up at the times requested and promptly delivered feedback after each visit. I will definitely book with Magan again!”

“Summer was great in taking care of my cat while I was away for a few days. She made sure to send lots of pictures and detailed notes describing her visits everyday. And followed all the instructions I left while I was away.”

About: My whole life I have been around animals. I have 4 years experience as a veterinary technician. I have a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M, and was a puppy raiser for a service dog organization in college. I trained 3 service dogs in my time with the non profit, we trained service dogs free of cost for veterans with mobility and ptsd needs. We used strictly clicker training and positive reinforcement and trained everything from potty training, to crate training to socialization and recall, and more complex tasks like opening doors, and paying for groceries, getting help etc. I also worked at Texas A&M's equestrian barn in college. Now I puppy and cat sit for friends and love on our outpost cat at the rafting company I work for. I have a childhood dog at home named Sam, he is 13 years old. I have experience with seniors, young puppies and kittens, rabbits, and large animals. During my time as a vet tech I trimmed nails, administered meds and placed catheters and much more! I am working part time currently and have a pretty flexible schedule, so get in touch with me to see if we're a good fit! I have lots of experience walking dogs, I had service dogs with me 24/7 on campus and around town. I am very cognizant of my surroundings and environment, as well as potential medical symptoms to look out for heat stroke etc.

“Alyssa did a 30 min drop in. She arrived early and stayed a little late and asked questions when she was unsure. I gave her limited instructions and she took the initiative to take the dogs for a walk and top up their water bowl. I was very pleased with her service and I would hire her again and recommend her to others.”

“I just started working with Jocylyn and have had to do a lot of rearranging of our schedule. She has been so great about it. My dogs loved her and I know we will be working with her again!!”

About: With over six years of hands-on experience in animal care, I bring a deep understanding of a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, chickens, and goats. What sets me apart is not just my experience, but the level of care, patience, and attentiveness I provide to every animal I work with. I’m confident handling pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have experience with both high-energy puppies and senior animals that need extra care and gentleness. I’m also comfortable managing feeding routines, administering basic medications, and recognizing early signs of illness or discomfort. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn positive behaviors or ensuring a senior pet is comfortable and happy, I tailor my approach to each animal’s unique needs. Animals aren’t just a job to me — they’re a passion. I treat every pet like my own, and I work hard to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for in my presence. I am available for drop ins and dog walks everyday but Sunday. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around your schedule as well. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my top priority is creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment tailored to each animal’s needs and routine. In my home, I make sure pets have a calm, clean space to relax, play, and feel secure. I follow their usual schedule as closely as possible—this includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions like medications or crate training. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. In a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the household rules. I keep things consistent by maintaining the pet’s feeding, potty, walk, and play schedules just as their owners do. I also provide updates and photos to help clients feel connected and reassured while they’re away. I treat every home with care and professionalism, and every animal like they’re part of my own family. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable—wherever they are.

About: I got my dog when I was 13 and she was the best thing that happened to me. She was the most loving and caring dog I ever met but lost her to a serious illness and I just love to give out my heart to animals and would love to spend some time with your animals. I am a stay at home mom and the moment. Son is five and in kindergarten and he loves animals just as much as I do but because I’m not completely over losing my dog I haven’t been able to get him a dog for himself. I’m home and have a dog park right now the road from me so keeping dogs a breeze. I always have an eye on the animals. Never feed food other then the kind given. Nothing in the rooms that they would stay in that could hurt them.

Kendra L.
“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Rover and Kendra! As a pet parent to two precious furballs—Noah and Squid—finding a reliable sitter is no small task. But thanks to Rover, I’ve finally found the perfect match! Noah, my sweet and energetic pup, absolutely loves his walks with Kendra. They’ve really bonded, and I can tell he’s in great hands. Squid, my quirky little pup, has never been easier to leave behind when I’m away. Kendra took the time to get to know Squid’s special needs (like his obsession with being bundled up in a cozy blanket) and ensured he was pampered while I was out of town. The updates and photos I received made me feel so at ease. It’s clear that Rover connects passionate pet lovers with top-notch sitters who treat your pets like their own. No matter how high-maintenance Noah and Squid can be (and trust me, they are), I know they’re in good hands every time. Highly recommend for any pet parent who wants the best care for their furry family members!”
