About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but since Sadie passed, it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I've done puppy care and senior care as well so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

Someone is almost always home with the dogs. I also have a Furbo video camera to monitor dogs if I do need to leave for a short time. ***Due to having 2-3 dogs staying with me at times, I only offer meet & greets, pick up, and drop off from my clients homes or curbside drop off anf pick up at my house in my designated "dog lovers only" parking spot. I find this keeps the excitement and stress level down for all dogs staying. If you want to see the accommodations, I can do a video tour with you. I also post videos and pics to my social media so you can see what your dog is up to during there stay.***

About: I have raised several puppies successfully and have helped a family member with caring for large litters of Great Danes. We have had senior dogs that have required medication administration, including insulin. I also volunteer at the heart Humane Society in Georgia taken care of the cats and the dogs that are waiting to be placed into a forever home.
