About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.

About: I have been taking care of animals for my whole life. I currently own two Ferret, two dogs, and two cats. I love training dogs I am actually trying to save money to start taking certifications for dog training. I am a disabled human, so I spend almost all day at home able to care for animals. Dogs will go outside to potty every 4 hours unless special instructions are given. My dog Ruger will not be around any male dogs that I watch. I will only accept to watch a dog if the owner also bring their dog a crate, their own toys, and some of the dogs food. I will not accept dogs that have any aggression.

About: Hi, I’m Courtney! Your dog’s new dependable best friend. With 15 years of experience working with animals, I bring a calm, confident, and caring approach to every visit. I’m comfortable with all breeds, all sizes, and all personalities — from shy seniors to energetic puppies. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have dogs and guinea pigs at home, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and understood while keeping you updated every step of the way. Pet care is naturally built into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around my drop-ins and walks to make sure every pet gets consistent, on-time care. I check in throughout the day, send updates, and make sure each visit has my full attention. On my days off, I’m even more flexible and can offer extra visit times. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine, make sure their needs are met, keep their space clean, and give them plenty of attention. I provide calm, consistent care and always send updates each visit.

Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. She sent me lots of photos of them playing which made me happy to know that they had a great time!

About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. Except Sunday and Monday I’m off! If I can start doing this full time, I would available all days! 7 days a week, anytime between 7am-10pm. Let’s talk about how I can help you. I provide a calm, secure space, follow routines closely, give constant supervision, and treat every pet like my own—with patience, respect, and love. I take my job very seriously and handle with so much love and care.

About: With four years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate pet sitting you can trust. I understand how stressful boarding can be for both pets and their owners, so I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment where your animals feel safe and loved. From energetic puppies to senior pets and those with special health needs, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and conditions. When you can’t be there, you can feel confident knowing your pet will be treated like family—with patience, attention, and genuine care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, especially since I work from home and am able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Each day, I ensure pets are fed on schedule, receive any necessary medications, and get plenty of enrichment and one-on-one attention while I monitor their overall well-being. Because I’m home, I can easily accommodate different routines. I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide attention tailored to their personality and needs. For cats especially, I prioritize a calm, low-stimulation environment, respecting their boundaries while ensuring they feel safe and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I keep their space clean, follow all instructions closely, and provide daily updates so owners feel reassured and connected while they’re away.

About: I've always had a deep love for animals, and when it comes to dogs, I believe they deserve to be as pampered as if they were in their own home! Growing up with four dogs, I cherished the moments we spent playing in the backyard and the joy they showed when it was time for their tasty treats after dinner! Since I work from home, your beloved pet will have companionship throughout the day! I promise to shower them with the same love and special attention that I give my own puppy, ensuring they feel right at home. We have a cozy house with a fenced yard, perfect for letting your furry friend roam and play, and I’m dedicated to taking them on daily walks to explore the neighborhood. FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Wheatville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 411 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Wheatville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wheatville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 411 sitters in Wheatville, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
