About: i have many years of both professional and volunteer experience working with animals. I work with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages at my day job with Haven of the Ozarks. During my nearly four years with Lawrence Pet Friends, I got to walk dogs and provide in-home care for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and reptiles, plus one emperor scorpion named Fluffy. I also spent a summer working with brood mares and their foals at the Kansas Center for Equine Breeding. In my personal life, I have also kept aquatic animals and rats. My experience has included neonatal kittens and puppies, as well as disabled animals. I am comfortable working with blind and deaf animals, seizure-risk animals, and animals with incontinence and mobility issues. I am comfortable giving oral medication and bottle feeding. I am also willing to meet and learn about any kind of pet you may have. Whether I’m there to let your dog out to potty and play a quick game of tug-of-war, or to work with them on leash walking, or to hang out with an anxious kitty while you’re on vacation, I promise to love your animals just as you would! I currently work five days a week at the Haven, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, with varying levels of flexibility therein. I also have obligations every other Tuesday evening. However, with enough notice, we can absolutely work out a plan for you and your pet! At this time, I am only providing in-home care. My cats would hate me if I brought a dog home! For vacation cat clients, I can do a one-or-two visit per day arrangement for feeding and litter scooping and love. Or if your pet is most comfortable with someone in the house, I can stay with them overnight. For daytime doggie clients, I can visit up to four times a day depending on schedule and distance, providing a walk and potty run at 7 am, noon, 4:30pm, and 9pm.

About: I have experience with small to giant breeds, I’ve raised numerous litters of Pomeranians. I know the ins and outs of raising puppies all the way up to managing adults with behavioral issues. I’m available for drop in visits, or walks from 3pm till 7:30pm, Monday through Friday. I’m also available all day on Saturday and Sunday for drop in visits or walks. I provide ample drinking water, lots of potty breaks, and tons of toys. I enjoy taking the time to get to know each individual dog and their needs.

About: I have had my own animals (including dogs, cats, bunnies, etc) since i was 6-7 years old. I grew up on a farm and worked with cows, multiple dogs of all ages, many cats, chickens, etc. Hi! I’m a mom of 3 under 4. I work full time, but my husband is home with the kids 24/7 so there will always be someone with your fur baby. We are available anytime I have a fenced in yard and dogs to keep yours company! Dogs can be crated, let outside or kept inside with me. They will get plenty of attention.

About: What sets me apart from other house sitters is my patient, loving approach to every dog I meet. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds—from tiny Chihuahuas to large German Shepherds—and I understand how to tailor care to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’m confident in basic training and redirecting unwanted behavior using positive reinforcement. With enough treats and consistency, I truly believe there’s nothing a dog can’t learn! Pet care fits naturally into my daily life—me and my roommate share two cats, Lennox and Sylvia, and they definitely keep us on our toes! Lennox is always digging through the trash like he’s starving (even though they get two servings of wet food a day plus dry food), so I’m often cleaning up his little adventures. They’re totally spoiled, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love playing with them using lasers and feather toys—they’re a blast and bring a lot of joy and routine to my day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding instructions carefully, make sure they get plenty of playtime and attention, and keep an eye on their behavior in case anything seems off. Whether it’s giving meds, scooping the litter box, or just hanging out on the couch for some cuddles, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how much animals thrive on routine and love, so I make sure they get both!

About: I’ve been involved in the dog world for years! I have worked professionally with dogs for 7 years, and in my free time, I love to train and trial my personal dogs. I’m involved in many different dog sports, am an involved member of the Tri State Kennel Club, and am an avid shepherd dog enthusiast! I have a lot of experience with rescue dogs and am 100% comfortable with dogs that may be a bit anxious around new people and can be very patient when building new relationships. I love all things dog and would love to be YOUR dogs next buddy! I have multiple dogs myself, and understand the daily needs that come with the responsibility of pet ownership. I am happy to fill the gap when you are out of town or busy at your own job! My home has a large fully fenced yard with doggy door access into a temperature controlled doggy playroom! My dog room is fully equipped with elevated beds, comfy blankets and bedding, full water bowls, and more toys than imaginable! My car is equipped with a TransK9 kennel, which is crash tested and proven to keep your pup safe if we go on an outing.

About: I love all dogs! We have two small dogs that we adore and are willing to love and care for others that need pet sitting I work from home and our family loves animals but don’t want to adopt more, so we are here to help and provide sitting or other care with a wide variety of availability. We walk our dogs frequently and are able to get them outside frequently. We have a two story house so are able to accommodate pets that may need their own space. We are adding a fence but have an unfencrd yard at the moment. We care and respect owners wishes and will provide the love and care every pet needs.

About: I have had big dogs in the home since I was born and took on the responsibility of caring for them around 8. I have experience with all ages dogs and can administer medication if necessary. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I’m currently working toward a second degree and commute to Springfield daily for classes, but I always make time to care for my cats at home. Having grown up with dogs, I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and companionship in a pet’s routine. My schedule is structured, and I’m used to balancing responsibilities—so I bring that same reliability and care to the pets I look after. Whether it’s keeping them company, making sure they feel safe, or just spending quality time, I treat every pet. I am very patient and respectful with all animals and the spaces I care for them in. I and careful to return leave the space as I found it or clean up any space if requested.

About: Have you ever met someone who just seems to attract animals? Well, that’s me. I was raised around dogs, including breeding Cocker Spaniels and German Shepherds, junior handling a Weimaraner and training for obedience and for service dogs. These days I’m a dedicated cat mama with a crazy Corgi who thinks she's a cat! I've recently had to give up transporting furry friends all over the country and since I'll be home for the foreseeable future, I'm available to take care of the local fur babies. I can't board dogs in my home but cats are welcome. In fact, they'll have their own room, complete with a cat tree by the window so they can bask in the morning son and watch the dog run in her little yard. I can house sit and keep your furry children company or just drop>n and visit a couple times a day. If your dog needs a playmate while you're away I know a Corgi who is always willing. I was on the road for most of the month but I had to give that up - at least for now. I'm not working on anything else so I have plenty of time to play with your babies while you're away. I have a young Corgi and an older cat, both fixed and friendly. Right now I have an extra bedroom setup for the cat and I keep the Corgi contained with a baby gate. Cats boarded in my home will be in the bedroom at all times and my cat will just have to take his naps in the living room. Unless you give me permission for me to bring my dog to your house to play, she's not invited.

About: My first job was walking the dogs in my neighborhood. From 12 on I have walked and and watched dogs and yes some cats ! I love animals and I would love to make your pets just a little bit happier with my visits and walks ! I currently only work part time so I have plenty of time to check in and walk your fur babies ! About: I've been taking care of my families and friends pets since i was 12 and I've loved every minute of it thats why I'm here It works perfectly fine because I'm currently enrolled in 15 hours of classes which only takes a little bit of my time away from home. I take care of the pets by constantly providing them with attention whether that be taking them out to walk, playing with toys, or teaching them new tricks. I also make sure that I'm teaching the dogs what is right and whats wrong and try to give them the best care I can while they are under my supervision.

About: I have experience with rats, reptiles, dogs, sheep, cats, cattle, and dogs. Even my livestock animals have been pets. I had my first dog at five years old, and I have cared for pets ever since. I have experience with medicating pets with both edible medicine and shots. I have cared for high-needs pets whether that be a young animal with an illness or a senior pet. I have cooked whole food balanced meals for dogs and rats. I have experience training dogs, rats, sheep, and calves. My rats could go through obstacle courses, my livestock animals would walk right next to me and even go down the road on walks right by my side, and my dogs have known many cute tricks. I love extra large and high energy breeds. I have experience with both. Currently, I have a German Short-haired Pointer and know how much it takes to keep them stimulated! I work in the psychology field, but I am a contractor who can create my own schedule and can work around any walking or pet-sitting appointments. I would treat clients' pets just as I treat my own, like family. My love for animals gives me the ability to care dearly for pets and do what is best for them while keeping the pet parent's wishes in mind.
