About: I am a stay at home mom, so your animals will always have some one to cuddle up to. We can continue activities that would normal happen at home ex: training, walking, playing fetch ride alongs in the car when school starts back up. Your little furry babies will always be in good hands as if they where my own. I can watch anytime of any day. I'm a stay at home mom with 3 little ones. We always love company in our little home. We love and care for them as if they where our own. Like they say dog is man's best friend. Cherish each moment with them
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, and really miss having one of my own! Sadly my two childhood dogs have now passed, but I’m looking forward to taking care of your animals. One of my favorite experiences as a kid was taking my dogs on walks, and how excited they would get at just the word walk. Thanks for considering me! I am a full-time RN. I worked 3 12s a week so I’m very flexible. On my days off I am currently only doing homework working on my BSN. So virtually on my days off, I have all time availability! I would care for a pet by making sure they know I’m in their house. I would also be calm and make sure the pet trust me before caring for them. I would never pick up someone’s pet unless told other wise. I would be able to feed, clean after, and take out peoples pets. I would also give walks if needed and whatever else they wanted.

About: Lifelong pet owner with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Reliable, attentive, and committed to providing loving care! I have two dogs of my own that are my whole world! I’m currently a stay at home wife & dog mom of two! I have very open availability to make sure your pets are cared for & will have everything they need throughout the day/night. I also would have time to go on walks or have play time with your animals to make sure they get all their energy out to have a good afternoon nap! I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room for your pup to get some energy out! I have two dogs of my own that love to make new friends. One male 2 years old lab that is a crazy loving little man who will play well with anyone! I have a 6 year old female heeler who is very curious and is happier to sit on the sidelines when her brother is getting to play with others, but if your pup wants to snuggle or get their ears cleaned, she’s your girl! I treat my pups like they’re my babies so I wouldn’t treat yours any differently. I know how hard it can be to find someone reliable or trustworthy to watch your animals so with me you wouldn’t have to worry!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats and many other animals old and young for most of my life. I have a very high passion for taking care of any animals! As an early graduate I have ample free time, so I will have plenty of time to love and care for your dogs/cats. I love going on walks and just sitting outside. So if your animal loves that I will gladly do that with them. If your animal loves to just chill and relax I love to do that as well. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am also very good with reactive dogs/cats and know what to do in a situation if something were to happen. If your animal needs medication I can provide it with instructions! If your animal needs any special care or has any appointments I can care for them and take them to appointments.
“Becca was fabulous with our girl! We booked last minute but she still made time to come over to meet her. She gave us great peace of mind while we were out of town. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have been providing care for pets, kids, and homes since I was about 13 years old. I will treat your animals like my own, play with them, give them the most love and attention, but most of all I will keep them safe. Please reach out!! I currently work full time, but I will be available for overnights, mornings, or evenings depending on the day! I have very open availability that we can work around! I have 1 small dog of my own that gets along with any other dog. I will use a leash anytime we are out of the house, and not lose sight of the dog while in my care.
About: Taking care of pets has been such a rewarding experience for me. Each day brings new moments of joy and learning, from ensuring they get the right nutrition to making sure they stay active and healthy. The bond that forms through daily walks, playtime, and just being there for them is truly special. It's amazing how much love and happiness pets bring into our lives, and being a part of their care is something I cherish deeply. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so I’ve delt with several breed at all ages!! My lab had 13 puppies so I have a soft spot for pups🥰 I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to play/ care for your pups! I am available most days before 2pm. And most evenings after 9pm. I am available some Saturday evenings and Sundays, it just depends on the week:) Safety is the most important part of my visit. I will make sure your fur baby is safe and comfortable when arriving and leaving! I am familiar with kennels, leashes, training collars, and much more!
About: We’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was 19 I started fostering dogs and cats as well, so I have experience with all sizes and breeds as well as dogs with special needs! I am a children's case manager, so my weekdays are usually full from 8a-4p or 9a-5p depending on the day, but I'm available for drop-ins or walks before and after work hours. We have a few dogs and a cat in home, but one dog is older, and the other is very selective, which is why I do not provide services in my home, but I would love to do drop ins, walks or house sit whenever I can!
About: For the last 20 years I've been deeply involved with dog rescue and fostering. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments as well as dogs in need of special care. I am an animal lover through and through and I will make sure your friend(s) will get the loving care they deserve. If your pets have medications that they routinely need I have lots of experience with administering meds and dealing with other health issues. I have a relatively flexible work schedule Monday through Friday, I can do walks and play in the early afternoon most days as well as evenings. Ask me about my boarding service as well ! I currently live with three seniors and two younger pups, I live out in the country and have two homes, on one of the properties there are two fenced areas with plenty of room for zoomies. If you would like to board your friends with me, I am fine with having them out and about in the house when I'm present, but they would most likely need to be crated if left alone. Contact me with questions and I can give you more details.
“I had Kaitlin watch my cats while I was out of town and she did an amazing job! My cats are usually scared of new people, but they got comfortable with Kaitlin very quickly. She sent daily update and made sure they were well taken care of. Highly recommend her and would hire her again!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
