About: Hi, I’m Debbie! I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly believes dogs are family. ❤️ While I’m new to professional dog walking, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs in a variety of situations. I’ve had dogs for many years, cared for my sister’s dogs, helped with the arrival of multiple litters of puppies, and have experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve also recently fostered dogs and regularly walk dogs at my local animal shelter, where I get to spend time with dogs of different personalities, ages, energy levels, and backgrounds. I especially have a soft spot for rescue dogs and love helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every dog is different. Some pups want an energetic adventure and lots of exploring, while others—including senior dogs—may need a slower pace, extra patience, or a little more TLC. I’m happy to meet your dog where they are and give them the individual attention they need. I genuinely love being outdoors, hiking, walking, and spending time in nature, so getting outside with a dog is something I truly enjoy—not just a job. My goal is for your dog to get exercise, attention, companionship, and plenty of love while you’re away. And I’m a cat lover, too! 🐱 I currently have cats of my own and would be happy to provide cat drop-in visits as well. Whether they need food, fresh water, a clean litter box, playtime, or simply some company and attention, I’m happy to help. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. About: I have been working in the veterinary field for six years now. I’ve been working with all kinds of animals. So I am willing to check in on anything from reptiles to dogs and cats! I currently work three days ( Thursday-Saturday). But I would still be able to drop in and checking on your pets! Can also make time to take them on a walk/ hike if need for the high energy doggies I currently live in an apartment so unfortunately I am unable to have other animals here. But I do have two very spoiled dogs of my own also have a leopard gecko of my own!!

Before college, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years as a Lead Dog Handler. We focused on enrichment techniques, and I learned a lot about dogs and their behavior. I can read dog body language and react appropriately to it, I can help train dogs, and most importantly I can make sure a dog is having fun! Whether your dog is older and treasures their nap time, a puppy who wants constant play, or something in between, I can meet them where they are and ensure they are comfortable, safe, and happy. If needed, I am able to do basic grooming tasks such as bathing and nail trims, I can administer medications, and I am trained in safely breaking up dog fights and restraining animals. About: I’m a champion for human & pets alike. Familial animals have been apart of my life since I was a young child & the subsequent years into my adulthood. I’ve assisted in the basic obedience training of 10+ dogs both in youth & elder-hood; temporarily lived with anxious pups whilst their parents traveled out of state; & I’ve formed genuine bonds with clients’ pets that I’ve routinely walked & tended to for years now. I’ve departed from traditional 9 to 5 employment to commit myself full-time towards the enriching of relations between all living beings, in particular, one Pet/Parent client at a time! Pet caregiving, dog handling & house sitting are my full-time job! Which fortunately means I’ve got quite a fluid weekly schedule capable of integrating a broad range of client scenarios. Mondays & Tuesdays between 9am and 9pm are my most flexible hours — services needed Wednesday thru Friday can be readily accommodated during our initial consultation. For clients interested in Boarding services - my home is a decently sized, fully furnished apartment with climate control functionality. During their stay with me your pets are welcome to languor however they normally would at home. I strive to make the stay as comfortable as possible for your pets whilst honoring whatever caregiving conditions/training you may request. If house-sitting your home is preferred, you can feel confident that your residence & loved-ones will be tended to with exemplary care & that upon your return home, it will be in the exact same or better condition than when you’d left it!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
