Dog Walkers in Westfield, NC

About: I live on a 14-acre property with vinyl horse fencing that has been reinforced with fence wire to contain dogs securely. We have two fully fenced fields, each about 70 yards x 50 yards. One field has agility equipment. Boarders and day care dogs will be able to interact with the agility equipment, if time allows and dog is comfortable. The other field is used mainly for disc dog practice and competitions, but is also great for general play. We have a stream running along the back of our property. We have 2 dog runs outside for outdoor relaxation when we are not doing activities. I have dog training certifications with Karen Pryor Academy and Animal Behavior College. I prefer to interact with dogs using positive reinforcement, treats and praise. I have been involved with dog sport training since 2008. We currently have 7 small dogs, all actively involved in dog sports, including flyball, disc, agility, barn hunt and tricks. Our females are intact and 2 males are intact.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 12. I would dog walk after work my full time job is teacher. I work Monday- Thursday but I can dog walk or house sit after work. Available on the weekends. I get holiday breaks and summers off so I'd be happy to help out while you are on a vacation. Monday-Thursday I'm available from 5pm-7pm Friday- Sunday I'm available 7am-5pm My schedule will open up more in the summer. I currently work full time as a teacher. I can care for pets in your home with specific instructions that you would like me to follow. I will not be able to care for dogs in my home.

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. From a young child to current day, I've always had a pet in my life. I have cared for outdoor dogs, indoor dogs, fish, and snakes. I've also cared for and been around most ages of dogs from 8 week puppies to elderly companions. I love spending time outdoors with them, sunshine, snow, pools, treks, mud, or wherever. My two kids are in school so I'll have plenty of time for your pet. My kids are comfortable around pets so even after school, I'm still available for care. I'm also available to board any day or night of the week. I'm close to parks and Pilot Mountain trails. I have plenty of backyard space for you pet to run and even a ramp entrance for pets with mobile difficulties. I have a backyard space for healthy walking/running. I have plenty of toys to keep your pet active and cushions for relaxing. I have a crate available if needed. I also have a dog of my own to keep your pet company. My dog is allowed on all the furniture in the house and yours is welcome to join in for cuddles.

About: 50 years of experience, grew up on a dairy farm, currently have three horses, twenty three chickens and three dogs on a ranch style farm. I am semi retired so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals as well as my own, I am pretty flexible all week as well as weekends. I will take care of your pets as if they were my own, animals that live with us are considered family and family always comes first.

About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole life as well as multiple types of reptiles, fish, chickens and rabbits. I graduated with an associates degree in Aquarium Science Technology where I took operant conditioning classes (animal training) as well as completed multiple internships working with animals of all kinds. My passion is taking care of animals of all kinds and I love to fufill the needs of any furry friend that needs me. As an owner of both dogs and cats, I never get tired of giving them the care they need and learning about their individual personalities. Respect is key. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals. I currently do Rover full-time and go to school online, but have worked at a dog boarding/training facility and have worked with/handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. Although I have more experience around dogs I love cats just as much! I have no issues with certain breeds, ages, sizes, or handling medicine (so long as it is nothing a professional vet should handle). I can’t wait to watch and care for your fur babies! I currently work full-time. I usually have two full days off each week for work and I have a very flexible schedule, giving me plenty of free time to walk, watch, and love your pets. I do have my own dog but unfortunately she is not friendly with other animals. Because of this I can only do daycare/overnight at clients own homes and walks/check-ins. I have plenty of personal and professional experience with aggressive animals and have no issues watching/walking aggressive dogs so long as both me and you are comfortable with it. With that being said it is important to me that any aggressive behavior whether with animals and/or people is told upfront and honestly as well meeting the dog ahead of time.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, my own and others included, since as far back as 8 years old. I've always enjoyed taking care of animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages and it makes my heart happy to see my kids following in those footsteps as they get older as well. I have a husband of 10 years, which will occasionally be helping with some of the pet care, and we have 2 kids (ages 3 and 8) so you know your animals will get plenty of cuddles and play time. Included in that are a few scenic trails through the woods on our property, so that means we have plenty of space for your fur babies to have some play time outside in the yard, and walks through the neighborhood/trails for exploration, exercise, and relaxation throughout the day! We are here with open arms ready to care for your sweet babies and willing to learn about each of their individual needs to make sure we make them and you feel comfortable and part of our family in the process! From boarding overnight, to drop-in visits when you can't be there, to random play visits/walking your fur babies, or even meeting/helping you with multiple animals' vet visits..... No matter the job or type of animal, give us a try and you won't be disappointed! We can't wait to hear from you and to make you part of the fam! I am a full time stay-at-home mom/wife so I have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies to make sure they get all the love, care, and attention they deserve for whatever the job you may need for them! Depending on size, your pets are housed inside our home (when staying overnight with us) as one of the family. We have plenty of crates inside our house for individual sleeping spaces. We also use baby gates throughout the house to separate areas of our house so animals can be separated in their own spaces if and when needed. I always communicate quickly with clients and make sure to send lots of pictures to assure them of their pets experience and exceptional care with my family and I. I also provide each animal with an apple air tag just as a safety precaution when they are in my care for mine and my clients peace of mind.

About: I have experience working as a kennel technician at a local animal hospital and have been caring for my pets for several years. I have also taken classes on pet care and how to work with different types of animals. I am currently working a part-time job, but i am able to accommodate what is best for you. Since I have a very flexible schedule I am open for just about everything! I have experience with kenneling dogs while also being on a timely feeding time and hourly walks, and play times. I care for my pets by crating and having scheduled feeding times along with plenty of fenced-in outdoor time!

About: I have owned my own dogs for 24 years and recently adopted a cat about 2 years ago. I have unprofessionally trained my own animals. My eldest puppy (they will always be our pups) lived to the age of 15, so I am aware of how to care for senior pets. I am currently a contractor worker where I help with cleaning homes, so I am always able to make time for the special furry friends in my life. I am a ball of energy ready to tackle any level. I am fully okay with the need for crating or special feeding schedules. Anything you need for your furry friend, I am all about.

About: i’ve got 3 dogs and love to play with them and go out side and run with them all day and enjoy training them as well i love being around my dogs all day we go to the dog park and i give them milk bone treats and bones all the time i make sure they get water and food as well as treats if allowed. i also make sure if they need to take meds that they get them and the attention they need

About: I have raised and cared for a variety of animals almost my whole life. Babies through senior care including medications and insulin shots. Patient and caring. I am early retired, so I have flexible times both day and night to care for, play with, visit with, and walk your beloved pets. I have a fenced yard for your pet to play as well as a senior dog to keep them company. My entire house is pet friendly.

About: I have lived with animals my whole life. Big dogs, small dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. I have always loved animals and I have taken care of them as if they were my bestest friend. Spending time with animals makes my day and I have never met a pet that hasn’t loved me! I am in college part time. When I come home the first thing I do is walk my dogs and feed my cats. I make sure all of my animals have everything that they need. My schedule is pretty open for the most, and I always find time to take care of pets.
