She started off our interaction by inviting me over a few days before Fort's scheduled stay to get him acquainted with her home, family, and her dog, Barack (who is delightful). I really appreciated her taking the time to introduce our dogs slowly and properly, and we talked at length about Fort's care, temperament, and behavior. After we addressed each other's questions and concerns, we were confident that Fort would fit in well with her family, and we solidified our plans for her to watch him while I was gone on vacation. Throughout the week, Sasha sent me lots of photos and updates on Fort to show me what a great time they were having. He got to go on lots of adventures, long walks, trips to the park, play fetch, have playtime with Barack, and even got to sleep on her bed! Knowing he was having a blast helped put me at ease and enjoy my trip. When my flight home got rescheduled, she was very accommodating and was able to watch Fort for an extra day, offering to pick up some more food for him or share Barack's since I didn't pack enough. She even offered to give him a free bath before I returned. Sasha said she and her family enjoyed Fort's company, and I am thrilled by the care and attention she gave Fort during his stay.
