“So accommodating and friendly. This was our first time boarding, and pretty instantly we knew our pup was in good hands! The pictures were so appreciated, and we’re incredibly grateful for the care our dog was given.”
“HANNILIE showed great compassion for our dog. It was comforting that she took videos of Finnegan playing in the yard with the other dog. It brought comfort and reassurance to us as this was Finnegan's first stay away from home. We would highly recommend Hannilie to anyone seeking a competent and caring boarding for their dog.”
About: Hello! I’m a huuuuuge “Dog Person”. :) You can rest assured that your pup will receive tons of attention/care/love from me while you’re away! Long-time dog lover/parent here!! We have used Rover’s services in the past, and it’s time to return the favor. (We are pup-less right now.) The human-dog connection fascinates me. I work from home, but I am not chained to my desk, so I will be able to care for your pup throughout the day. He/she will be safe and secure here in our home. Your pup will be leashed any time we leave the house. We will make any adjustments or accommodations to support your dog’s personality, comfort, or needs. Experienced with all life stages, from puppy to senior.
About: Our property is a lush 5 acres. We have a fenced-in dog run, but we have lots of land for walks. We have two beautiful labradors: Abilene and Odessa (8 years old). They like having friends over to socialize and play. You can rest assured that we will treat your dog like one of our family. We love dogs, so care is easy! Our home is well suited for dog naps, daily walks, and midnight howls. My wife and I, as well as our two Labradors will give your dog a family to stay with while you are gone. Our home and property are large enough to support the individual needs of each dog. Two levels in our home and a large property allow us to facilitate special requests and routines.
About: I will give your dog(s) my undivided attention. They will be fed and taken for walks. I will engage with them throughout the day, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dog-sit and walk the dogs entrusted to my care. Pet caring is one of my passion because they bring so much joy to our lives. With this being said after work I do appreciate the love my fur babies give me. I love to play and run with fur babies and I also get my weekly exercise in! I have a yard that they can run freely in. They will have access to my balcony for when they need cooling and some quiet.
“Keren and her family took such incredible care of Sofie while we were away for a week. ❤️ Sofie has severe separation anxiety and therefore needs to have constant companionship and they were thankfully able to accommodate our request. We received daily updates and photos and Sofie definitely had a great time during her stay. ☺️ Thank you again!! We’d highly recommend Keren and hope to use her again in the future.”

“I left Chet with Emily and Andre for a few days. They took great care of him, gave him lots of love and attention and sent me frequent updates so that I would know he was ok. He was treated like a member of the family and had a great time!”
“My whole experience with having my cat boarded for the first time was outstanding from beginning to end! I was updated with pictures and status reports of how my cat was doing throughout his stay which put me at ease. He was great and calm and tidy when I picked him up too. I know that he was well cared for!!”
“Katarzyna was so sweet and caring for our dog. We got multiple pictures and updates while he was with her and he looked like he was having a great time! Would definitely recommend her!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Westcolang home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Westcolang.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Westcolang sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
