About: I have been taking care of animals of all kinds for over 10 years! I have been doing it professionally for 5+ years as my full-time gig. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but am not new to early mornings or late night stops. So if it is an early morning run they need or a late night snuggle session, I can make it happen! If you find yourself stuck at work or getting a delayed flight I can help fill in the gaps. Weekends are dang near fair game. Reach out and we can discuss what your and your pets needs are so that a plan can be made to meet everyone's needs! Caring for animals of all kinds, ages, needs, and abilities (including farm animals) is my regular day job so it is also fitting that I do it outside my 9-5. I am comfortable giving oral meds and injections so that your pet gets everything they need while you are working or away. Let me know what helps your pet feel most comfortable and happy and I will make it happen! I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday 9-5 with weeknights/early mornings wide open. So stops to check on, feed, or just play and snuggle with your best friend before or after work are my specialty! Weekends I also have availability to make multiple stops and ensure everyone's needs are met. Holidays are also usually fair game for me to help since my family is pretty close to home! I keep the site up to date almost daily so that you can be sure that your days/holidays are free for me to help! I have a very friendly dog and two lovable cats in my home that love new friends. I am happy to leash walk, crate pets as needed, dispense medications and make adjustments as required. In my home the house is fair game with no "off the couch" rule unless you prefer there to be. I am here to enforce or let slide whatever you are comfortable with! I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but am working on that! I care for pets as if they were my own and boundaries are in place to your specifications! Let's make a plan together.

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. I’ve been working with dogs since around 2021 and have one of my own that i trained. I get the basic understand behind dogs in general since i’ve been with them every single day and love to learn there personalities to communicate with them. I babysit from home i have a mini dog daycare the most i get through the day is about 5 dogs. I did work in a boarding facility and in dogs homes before. About: I have taken care of close friends and families pets for years and I have decided to expand and see if anyone else needs care for their animals! I have plenty of experience working with animals. I started out as a farm aid at Turtleback zoo a couple years ago and left to go work with marine mammals in Florida. When I came back to NJ I went to Cape May and worked as a full time seasonal animal keeper. After my 6 months were up I went back to Turtleback zoo as a Relief Keeper. I left the zoo field December 2021 and started working part time at a local vet clinic where I work with all size dogs and cats. I know how to give medications also if your dog or cat have any special needs! I currently work full time, first shift for a laboratory. I also work part time at a vets office but when I am dog sitting I do not just do that your pets have more of my attention and are my priority. If I were to stay at your house I can walk your dog around your neighborhood or take them on local hiking trails! Whatever works best! I am here to care for your animals just as I would my own. My dogs Cooper and Ginger are very spoiled and I can guarantee yours will be also! Depending on the needs of your pet will be the deciding factor of our daily routine. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority.
