About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and dog mom to a small Pom-Dachshund mix named Ollie. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of attention, care, and companionship during the day. We have a small, secure fenced yard that’s great for fresh air and playtime. My dog is a bit shy at first around new dogs, but he warms up with slow introductions—and I’m always careful to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. One of the reasons I started offering doggy daycare is to help him build more confidence and enjoy some friendly company. I know how important it is to leave your pet in good hands, and I’ll care for your dog like they’re part of the family. Whether your pup is playful or prefers a cozy nap, I’d love to welcome them into our calm, dog-loving home. I work from home full-time, so I’m always around to give your pup all the attention they need, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I have a secure fenced yard, so we play in the back yard throughout the day, and stroll through the park right next to my house. When I’m working in my office I find the pups like to hang in there on the arm chair.

“Angie is the best! She cares for silly so well and pays great attention to her. I’m happy to leave silly with her throughout the day, and silly is always excited to be there.”

About: I've grown up with dogs and owned multiple dogs in my life. I know how to handle just about anything a dog might throw my way. You can rest assured that I'm someone who will love, care, and play with your dog 24/7. I currently work remotely which allows me to play with my dog throughout the day. I am pretty much free at all hours of the day to take your dog out for a walk, to the park, or to socialize with other dogs as well. I have a black lab who is super friendly to every dog he has met. He is groomed and cleaned very regularly. There is easy access to water as well as their regular food. All food and items that they shouldn't have are well out of reach.

“Ryan took great care of Maya and I was delighted to find someone in Charlotte with a fenced yard. He even fed her when I forgot her food. Kudos!”

About: I have had a dog (or two) since I was 8 years old! Growing up I knew every dogs name in my neighborhood. I started pet sitting the minute I was old enough! I have experience with dogs big and small but have a special place in my heart for big pups! I currently work from home with my 4year old Golden, Sunnie who loves a good playmate! I work from home with a flexible schedule so I have plenty of time and space for your pet! We walk daily and go out in our fenced yard every few hours! I have a big fenced in yard with lots of space for running! Pets are allowed wherever people are in my house! Bed included. We do have a crate if that is preferred!

“Pat and Nicole watched my Maltipoo with very little notice. He had an absolute blast! They were always in communication and sent videos of the fun. They will now watch my pup daily while I am at work, and I will feel at ease knowing he is in loving hands.”

“I am extremely happy with this sitter! We used Shelby when our family went to Carowinds. I have a large dog with a even bigger personality. Shelby knew to take the dogs on a parallel walk to get them comfortable. She's knowledgeable and patient with your dog. Max went right with her when he normally doesn't want to leave my side. I highly recommend Shelby and only wish she lived in my state. Ju”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience in dog sitting, I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each dog’s unique needs. My background includes working with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring special attention. Special Skills: Canine Training: Skilled in reinforcing positive behavior through reward-based methods. I offer basic obedience reinforcement (sit, stay, leash walking, recall) and have helped pet parents maintain consistent training routines during their time away. Senior Dog Care: Experienced in administering oral and topical medications, managing mobility issues, and maintaining comfortable routines for older dogs. I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and consistency in senior pet care. Health & Wellness Monitoring: Trained to notice early signs of distress or illness. I maintain detailed logs of food intake, behavior, and bathroom habits to keep pet parents informed. Customized Care Plans: I follow detailed instructions and provide updates with photos and videos, ensuring peace of mind for owners. Whether your dog needs a calm companion or a structured routine, I bring a responsible and loving presence to every stay. Pet care is a natural fit in my routine. I work a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize the needs of the pets I care for—whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. My availability during weekdays and weekends makes it easy for me to accommodate regular routines or last-minute needs. Because I don’t have a standard 9–5 workday, I can give pets the time and attention they deserve without rushing through visits. Whether it’s keeping a senior dog on a strict medication schedule, helping with training consistency, or just making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away, I’m able to offer reliable, calm, and consistent care every time. When caring for pets in my own home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment that’s free from hazards such as exposed wires, harmful plants, or small items that could be swallowed. I use gates or designated spaces to ensure pets are secure and can transition easily into a calm, structured routine. Key Safety Practices: Secure Environment: My home is fully pet-proofed, with secure fencing (if applicable), locked cabinets for food and cleaning products, and pet-safe materials throughout. Supervised Introductions: If pets will share space with others (such as during overlapping stays), I ensure slow, supervised introductions and only allow socialization when it's safe and appropriate. Routine & Structure: Pets thrive on routine, so I follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, and exercise times as closely as possible to their usual routine. Emergency Preparedness: I keep a stocked pet first-aid kit on hand, know the location of the nearest 24-hour veterinary clinic, and always have emergency contact info from the pet’s owner. Individualized Attention: I take the time to learn each pet’s temperament, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs so I can provide thoughtful, tailored care in a safe, nurturing environment. Whether your pet needs a quiet stay or extra attention and activity, I make sure they feel secure, loved, and well-cared for in my home.

“Christina was wonderful with my new puppy Samson! She kept him for the day and took extraordinary care of him! She even sent photos of him being a good boy! I would highly recommend her for your dog!”

About: Hello I’m Katie! I am 28 years old and work for the City of Charlotte. I live in the Oakdale North/Mountain Island area, but I’m will to work out pick up/drop off for clients that are a little farther out. I grew up always having pets and being around animals of all sorts and I just love the company of animals. I've been pet sitting on a small scale since I was 13, and it has always been something I love to do. I started with Rover in 2016 and have been sitting ever since. Additionally, I have always had pets in my home, so I learned responsibility very early on, and still maintain that quality. I am willing to make any accommodations necessary to keep your fur babies happy while they are in my care. I have had my profile inactive for a couple years and have only taken personal repeat clients, but I am ready to grow and meet more people and pups! I am working towards my training certification, so I would like to continue gaining experience with various animals and their behaviors. I have also been bringing along my partner Nick so he can learn the process as we move toward a growing business out of our home. He always had a dog (or three) around. Currently, we only own a cat so we have a great environment for pups that prefer to keep to themselves and a fenced yard! I work from home half the week and in the office half the week. I work 20 minutes from home so I am able to come home to let the pups out on my lunch break if needed! Nick works from home full-time so he is also available for midday care as needed. I have a privacy-fenced yard in my new home and sidewalks in the neighborhood for leash walks. I have an extra crate and several gates to put in doorways/rooms to separate animals as needed. I have a room dedicated to pups for times when no one is home.

“Lauren was a great communicator and very warm and friendly. I sense from our communications that she was a safe place for my dogs. She was very flexible and willing to go above and beyond. The dogs had a great time. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and puppies for over four years, and it’s truly something I love doing. I’ve helped with everything from feeding and walking to giving medications and taking dogs to vet appointments. I always take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s a quick walk or a full day of companionship, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and follow any special instructions closely to keep things just right I’m currently enrolled in full-time online school, so I’ll have ample time to attend to your fur baby’s needs and wants along with following your instructions I have a two-story home where your fur baby has full access to. I also have a transparent crate that will be fully furnished to accommodate your baby needs

About: My family has had dogs for as long as I can remember. Cat and dog sitting was always welcome in our home when friends and neighbors were out of town. There’s nothing like having a dog around to share that unconditional love. Our family dog Greta stayed back home in Vermont when I moved to Virginia and now Charlotte, but I am looking to get that positive animal energy back in my life! I work from home and stay active as part of my life style. I’d love the opportunity to have a running partner in the morning or walk companion during lunch. I can promise my company and presence for your dog for the full day as I work from home. I am very active myself so getting your dog out for several walks per day will be part of my daily routine.
