“The dogs loved their walk with Kaitlyn. They were tuckered out when they got back and slept soundly while I worked from home. Perfect situation! Can’t wait for their next walk today!”

About: I’ve had pets in my household my whole life but got my own dog about 10 years ago so I know all about the love and time it takes to care for them. Sadly, my dog Paisley passed away in January of this year. I did Rover pet care about 5 years ago and decided this would be a great time to get back into it while I wait to get another dog of my own. As far as my current pets, my family cat lives with me now. He is 13 years old and his name is Stormy. He’s an outside cat, but he still loves to be loved and spend time with us. I have also provided dog walking and sitting services to my neighbors throughout the years for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I check in on them multiple times a day to feed them, walk them, and most importantly love them. I feel a special connection with animals and I am dedicated to making sure your pet receives the best care possible. I look forward to meeting your pet soon! I have a one year old daughter who will be joining me for any drop-in visits and walks. I will be working around her schedule so as of right now, I am available in the mornings between 10:30am-12:30pm and in the afternoons from 4:30-6pm. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will make sure your pet feels comfortable with their favorite toys and in their favorite spots. I’m able to feed them and get in some exercise. I will play with them and let them know that they are loved.

“Fabulous, walk requested on short notice. Punctuation, followed directions. There was a snafu with elevator access on my part, and he made it work. Thank you and look forward to using again. Highly recommend.”

“Duke loves Cameron and Caitlin! They spent extra time with him and were very genuinely concerned with Duke’s well being! We’re sad we no longer need daily drop bys but will definitely reach out in the future if we need boarding!”

About: Hi my name is Katelyn but I go by Nova! I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 8 years old and can’t imagine not having one with me. I now have just 2 cats and a bully mix. I’ve taken care of mainly herding mixes so I can safely say that dogs that are “a lot of dog “ are my specialty. Positive reinforcement based Training has also been a special interest of mine for a few years now and so I’m quite knowledgeable on that subject as well! I work full time pet sitting and dog walking! Because of this I’m pretty much always available to care for or walk your fur baby! I will care for your animals with the utmost care, responsibility, safety, and detail as if they were my own. I’m unable to provide boarding services at the moment but I still do pet sitting!

About: At the age of 12, I decided that I wanted to be a dog walker. I put up flyers and was able to make a little business out of it for a while. I love animals, especially dogs. I pay attention to detail. Dogs are extremely intelligent; that’s why I’ve always been so intrigued by them. I’m in college, so I’d like to fill some of my time doing something that I enjoy. I do have a fairly flexible schedule :) **Disclaimer: Im unable to board dogs that have excessive shedding due to my allergies. I do apologize for this inconvenience!! Making sure my fur friend is comfortable & at ease is vital. So, getting them situated with their necessities first, then making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. And if they allow a little play time, I take advantage of that as well!

“I’m so happy that i found you. I can’t wait for the Kane to open up more. I love the pictures. I love the communication it gives me a peace of mind knowing someone is taking care of him just like i would.”

About: I've always lived with and taken care of dogs of friends, family, and neighbors. I have natural bonds with all kinds! I absolutely love being able to give love and affection to pups! I'm more flexible during the summer and breaks due to me being a teacher, but when I'm teaching, I also love to bond with pups! I will love your pup as if they're my own! Lots of affection, fun, and care! Butt scratches and head rubs are my specialty! 😂

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Mathias, and I’ve been a dog owner my whole life. I currently own a precious Pug named Bodhi, which I house trained quickly and is the joy of my life, and I absolutely love taking care of other pets! Profile highlights: I own a home with a spacious newly fenced yard, work remotely, live alone with no kids, absolutely love pets, own a sweet friendly pug, & have 15+ years of dog care experience providing top quality service! I’ve boarded multiple pups of all ages, and I’m experienced with many different personalities. From shy, reactive, anxious, to high energy, I accommodate each boarding accordingly to ensure comfort and safety, therefore all are welcome! :) Currently offering boarding, day care, drop in’s and dog walks. Add on services include personal pick up/drop off & bath/grooming! I also live 10 minutes from the airport, making it a convenient drop off location for traveling parents on the go! My calendar is always up to date, and my schedule is very flexible. Please feel free to reach out to me for any questions! 🐾 ——— I live on my own and work remotely from home, therefore I have the flexibility to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, ensuring they feel cared for and comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, multiple potty breaks or cuddles, I can adapt my schedule to meet their needs while maintaining a safe and fun environment for them! As a lifelong dog owner, I know how important it is to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe home for pets. I recently purchased my first home in Charlotte, and it features a large fenced yard located on a cul de sac corner lot offering lots of safety and privacy. My yard is spacious, clean and ideal for my Bodhi and his friends to run, play, and even sun bathe on the deck! Bodhi is house-trained, neutered, extremely friendly with other pets, and loves to play! I joined Rover not only because of my love for animals, but also for the ability to socialize Bodhi with other furry friends in the comfort of our home. Lastly, my home is stocked with plenty of toys to keep your furry friends entertained! I live a very active lifestyle, and enjoy going on long walks, playing outdoors... Your pets will be treated like family and kept happy and busy during their entire stay!

“Only had one walk so far given my hectic schedule but so far so good! Great communication, attentive to dog’s needs, and can handle my large dog :) already booked for the next week!”

About: I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs since I was a kid! I am great with senior dogs who may need a little more help, can administer medication as directed, and play well with dogs of all energy levels. I’ve dog-sat for Golden Retrievers, shih tzus, and more! I can also work with dogs who need extra mobility help! I currently work full-time with a set schedule that only fluctuates when a co-worker needs time off or has an emergency. My off days are Sundays and Mondays, so those are my most free days! I can usually do drop-ins after 8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Another note: I live in Gastonia, N.C., and have my service area set in Charlotte since I work in the city! I can keep a vigilant eye on your dog in a fenced-in yard, take them on a quick walk, or play with them and walk them at your nearest fenced-in dog park!

About: I have been taking care of dogs for over a decade. Your furry family members will be a part of my family while under my care. There are great routes in my neighborhood for walking if the backyard isn’t the best way to burn off energy. I am experienced with oral and injectable medications if needed. I like to keep to a schedule and once we get a routine going on day 1, I am sure your pup will feel at ease with me and Nola! My weeknights are mostly open and I have plenty of time most weekends to care for you furry family member! I am typically at work during the weekdays for 8 hours, but can certainly make it work if your pup needs to be checked on more often! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed. I have a larger crate if your pup needs to be crated at any time. I also keep an eye on the pups while they are in the yard. I am able to separate the pups during meals and have no problem with any additional mealtime requests! My goldendoodle, Nola, gets along well with other dogs and is loves having friends over to play! She can be a little guardy of me at times, but will get comfortable when encouraged. Let’s set up a meet and greet!

About: My daughter and I have been caring for pets since she was 6 years old. She is now 19 and we have one adorable fur baby, Gumbeaux Roux. We’ve had Guinea pigs, fish, a bird and we are now on our 2nd dog. We specialize in cuddles and belly rubs. My daughter is off to college now so Gumbeaux and I would love to get acquainted with your fur baby. We take turns caring for our precious baby. We have a routine that we adhere to strictly. We do walks before school/work, after school/work and before bed. On weekends, we keep the timing in order to remain consistent. Our home is definitely pet friendly. We only require crating when gone from the home for long periods of time, such as working hours. Outside of working hours, the baby is free to roam about the house. While my yard is not fenced in, I have a yard leash that can accommodate small dogs only.

About: I have owned myself and cared for dogs of all sizes. I myself have 3 dogs who are all very dog friendly, love to play but will also leave your pup alone if they’re not feeling it. I have a large fenced in yard where dogs can play all day, and they will have full access to the yard during the day. My partner and I both work from home so your pups will have full 24/7 care. We take our dogs on a daily long walk where they go off leash, so we can always take your pups with (leashed or unleashed). They can sleep on the bed, a dog bed, or in a crate. Cats are always welcome, however they will need to be separated in our guest bedroom. I work from home 100% of the time and have plenty of time in that schedule to care for your pets, take them on walks, feed them on a schedule, and play with them in the backyard. I believe that our pets deserve to be treated even better than we would treat ourselves. That means the necessary nutrition and exercise. Dogs will be given as many potty breaks as they need and any cats will have a clean kept litter box for their entire stay under my care.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs most of my life — from my childhood Dalmatian, to my mom’s Shih Tzus, to my current dog Cecil, who I’ve raised for the past 5 years. After college, I also did part-time dog walking and loved getting to know each dog’s personality and pace. Cecil is high-energy, strong-willed, and super smart — so I understand the value of calm, clear communication and patient consistency. I’ll always treat your dog with warmth, respect, and care, and I’m happy to stick to their routine, administer medications, or just offer a peaceful presence while you're away. I currently have a flexible schedule and can be available for pet care during the day, evenings, and overnight as needed. I’m in a life transition right now, which means I have time, presence, and lots of love to give to the pets I care for. I care for pets with a calm, grounded presence and close attention to their routines. Whether I’m staying in your home or just visiting, I treat your space and your pet with respect. I follow all instructions carefully, prioritize safety, and take time to build trust so your pet feels secure, seen, and loved while you’re away.

Chelsea F.
“Chelsea is a young lady of high integrity who has; since early childhood, had pets in her home. She was always expected to walk, feed, help train and pamper those pets. She is very trustworthy, has a very caring spirit and loving her dogs comes easily. However, she is also able to effectively set boundaries and enforce rules needed to establish healthy dog habits. She adopted a puppy while in college and was able to crate train and house break her relatively quickly. That “college” dog is now almost 5 years old and she has impeccable manners, is very obedient and very well trained. To be able to train a dog so well in an environment of college life speaks highly of Chelsea’s abilities to effectively deal with the needs of her pet through all stages and ages. I am confident that Chelsea would be an asset to your team.”

“My dog Hudson is pretty picky and requires special care, including daily medication, so finding someone I can trust has always been a challenge during work trips or vacations.. Mathias has truly been a lifesaver and thank goodness for him ! He’s incredibly reliable, always punctual with administering Hudson's medicine, and he gives him all the attention and care he needs. It definitely makes being away sooo much easier when I rather not bring Hudson on longer trips that I know would stress him out. I couldn’t appreciate him enough for the peace of mind he provides my Hudson!! He’s my number one preferred person to watch him.”

Matthew is patient and loving with the dogs, ensures their safety in all situations while keeping them entertained and engaged. I believe Matthew would be a wonderful addition to the Rover team.”

Jordan M.Star Sitter
“Jordan is truly the most generous and giving person. She cares about any fur babies she comes across and has had dogs and cats her whole life. I've had her watch my 2 cats while I had to go out of town and couldn't recommend her more. She was on time with my scheduling, went the extra mile by snuggling the kitties, and played with them so they were less likely to make a mess while I was away :') haha. I appreciate you greatly Jordan!”

Nathalia B.
“Nathalia is a wonderful pet caregiver! She has trained Cecil with love and patience—he calmly puts himself in his kennel and never makes messes around the house. Kiki, who is normally shy, is so well cared for that you’d barely know she’s home until she occasionally comes out to play at night. Nathalia keeps everything spotless and clearly loves animals, making her an ideal choice for anyone who wants a responsible and caring sitter.”
