“Cassie did a great job of keeping us updated on our pets while we were away! She provided a thorough update on their moods, health, and appetites, and took the best pictures! She even took the time to meet them beforehand and ensured we felt comfortable with her. If something looked off in the house, she advised us of that as well. We could tell that our pets were well taken care of and had gotten plenty of play time and attention. Would recommend Cassie as she obviously loves animals and cared for our pets so well!”

About: If you’re looking for someone who truly gets dogs — you’ve found them. Growing up, our house always had at least one dog (usually more!), and if it wasn’t ours, it was a neighbor’s pup I was caring for. Throughout my childhood and adulthood, I’ve homed, walked, and trained dogs of all sizes and breeds — from tiny Chihuahuas to big, goofy Labs. I don’t just love animals — I feel at home with them. In fact, I'd rather spend my time with dogs than with most humans! As a seasoned dog owner myself, I’m confident caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities: 🐾 Dog-friendly or dog-selective? 🐾 Leash champion or a bit wild on walks? 🐾 Puppies bursting with energy or sweet seniors needing a gentle touch? I've got the patience, skill, and heart to meet each dog where they are — and work with you to match your needs and preferences. Whether you need a trustworthy walker, a reliable sitter, or someone who treats your pets like family, I’m here to help. And bonus — I love cats too! So if you have a multi-pet household, you're in great hands. I am free and have a very flexible schedule. I will provide the support, care and love the pet needs from the owners perspective! I am very active and can also provide the level of activity for the pet that they require. Available weekdays and weekends I have a fully fenced in backyard for playing, a neighborhood with sidewalks for safe walking and a puppy friendly parks near-by. I am free and have a very flexible schedule.

“Spicer is fantastic! Our dogs were comfortable with her and very happy when we got home. We received updates regularly and she was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend her.”

About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds and hamsters. We have three dogs of our own, and my husband has banned me from any more fur babies. I’m hoping you will allow me the joy of loving on yours! I grew up with dogs my whole life. In my adult life, we’ve consistently had three dogs since for the past 15 years. I lost my dog soulmate last April 🥺. Our dog crew consist of our rat terrier Vader, our chocolate lab Penny and our silly beagle Pumpkin. Vader spends most of his day sleeping on the couch. Penny and Pumpkin are very active, get daily walks and monthly trips to doggy daycare. They are all friendly and love to have friends over to play! I do work full-time (8am-3pm) during the week in Wilmington, but I live in Leland. I’m able to come home/ to your home on my lunch break to check on and give the puppies love. I take the dogs on walks before work and then in the afternoon after we are home. I’m usually home all weekend with the dogs. I have a fenced in yard! Our dogs are all friendly and love to have friends over! They are no longer crated during the day but if you prefer your pup to be crated that totally fine! Unlimited access to water and lots of treats and belly rubs!

“Holly did an amazing job taking care of our animals while we were on an extended vacation. She provided updates every drop in visit and I felt comfortable knowing my animals were well cared for. Will use her again for our next vacation!”

About: With 14 years of professional pet care experience, I specialize in caring for animals of all ages, including senior pets and those with special needs. I spent 6 years as a Kennels Manager at Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital and 4 years as a Veterinary Technician, providing expert care for dogs, cats, and more. Whether it’s administering medication or ensuring a comforting routine, I treat every pet like family! I work full-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to adjust my pet care schedule to fit yours. Whether you're heading out on vacation or need a helping hand, I’m happy to accommodate! This flexibility means your pet will get the attention, love, and care they deserve while you’re away! I love keeping pets active and engaged! I always plan for daily walks based on their needs—my own dog has tons of energy, so we go out at least twice a day. Playtime is a must, not just for fun but to build trust and a strong bond. If your pet needs medication, you can rest easy knowing I’m completely comfortable handling it with care.

In May 2025, I graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science! I am now in the process of applying and interviewing for jobs. About: Did you know wolves travel anywhere from 10-30 miles a day?! I believe that a tired pup is a happy pup and I am always up for an adventure. My pet care experience includes a variety of species in a variety of environments. I am a native to Wilmington so I know the area well and can give your pup the adventure they crave if you so choose. My family has a history of working with k-9s so handling them is something that comes naturally. I am focused on gaining the respect and trust of every species I encounter. Affection, it comes in many forms and I am here to offer them all; toys, treats, belly rubs, you name it. I'm versatile, accommodating and I look forward to meeting your four legged family! I am a stay at home mom and spend my days taking care of little humans while also loving and meeting the needs of our loyal companions. If your home is fenced then we will spend time playing in the sunshine at their own pace. During the summer I will only walk your dog(s) in the morning or late afternoon. I don’t walk dogs during the peak heat of the day for their safety and mine. I am well seasoned in body language and dog psychology so you can trust that I will be in tune with their likes and dislikes. In the future I plan to offer boarding in my home but we are working on home improvements before that is possible.

About: Hi my name is Sarah, I love all kinds of dogs and I would say they are definitely my specialty. I have always grown up with a dog in the house so I know a lot about them. I am one of those people who will stop to pet every single dog that I see on the street. I will give your dog the love and attention they need while you're away. With me it will be like a home away from home! I have been known to give dogs lovin' like they are my own. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I am a server where most of my days are just spent hanging out around the house. My girlfriend will also be around to help out if I am at work. I am respectful of other peoples homes, while treating your pet like my own same goes for the house. I am reliable by showing up on time and committing to the service.

About: I’ve worked with animals for 18 years. My first job was at a veterinary clinic and I’ve been pet sitting ever since. I volunteer at the Humane Society in my free time. I have experience administering oral medications and potty training puppies. I have some experience training basic obedience and tricks. I don’t discriminate against breed or size - I love them all, feline and canine! I’ve also taken care of birds, fish and cows (I interned at a dairy farm one summer). When pet sitting, I enjoy taking able bodied pups along for hikes and adventures. Overall, I will treat your fur or fur-less babies as if they are my own. I’m a part time nanny, so I work afternoons - evenings Tuesday through Friday. I’m available for walking or check ins in the mornings and late evenings/nights on those days. I’m also open to pet sitting on the weekends - also during the week if your pet can be alone for 6-8 hours at a time. When I walk dogs, I give them lots of affection before getting them ready for their walk. When dog sitting, I take them out first thing in the morning before their breakfast. We will go on 2 long walks, with potty breaks in between. I like to take them to the dog park sometimes or on a long hike if it is allowed. I am respectful of the pet parent’s wishes in all regards.

About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.
