About: Friendly sitter with experience with senior pups, cats and chickens. I currently have two wonderful dogs and a handful of chickens. One of our dogs is what we believe is a Foxhound and the other is a Shepherd mix. Both are rescues so we are not sure. I also have experience with cats, parrots (green crowned conure) and various farm animals. Update: I no longer work from home. I am now in Richmond M-F, 8-5. I am happy to stop by during my lunch break to check on your babies in the city. Any other surrounding areas would have to be weekends and not during work hours. Apologies for any inconvenience! I am happy to stop by your home and care for your pets. One of my pups is reactive and we do not want to make her (or your baby) uncomfortable by bringing other pets into our space.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends which allows me to be more flexible in caring for your pets and making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. When caring for pets I prioritize keeping their normal routines to reduce stress. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and playtime based on their energy levels. I pay close attention to behaviors and behaviors changes and ensure doors, gates, and leases are secure for safety. I also can send photo updates to owners while they’re away.

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for 5 years and an animal shelter for 2 years. I have a range of knowledge about different breeds, sizes, behaviors, etc. and have had much practice with my own dogs and cats as well. I am an animal lover and have also owned rabbits, lizards, and fish. I am very familiar with different types of animals and the care that is needed. I treat every dog and client with respect and can provide a very entertaining environment for your furry friend. I am very familiar with giving medications and special needs dogs as well as puppies. I currently have an open schedule and am available on majority of all the days of the week and am fairly flexible. I can come by and stay over when needed I am willing to provide long walks or take the dog out to walk at a park. I am good about staying on a schedule to be able to provide the best quality care and routine. Your pet will get showered in love and plenty of playtime.

About: I have had dogs since childhood! “Puppy” love can change any attitude! A little TLC for your fur babies is what I can provide for you. I work remotely so pretty flexible on time. Feeding, walking, playing all in a days work. I find that a little animal break in my day make me more productive. Our 3 large dogs use doggy door but the little ones have to be let out. We walk our dogs every morning and throw balls ever afternoon.

About: My husband and I have a 7 year old German short haired pointer and a 10 year old Wheaten Terrier/King Charles Spaniel mix. They are both friendly with other dogs. They have free range of the house other than our living room couch. We have an Invisible fence brand around our yard and we live in a cul-da-sac in our neighborhood, which is also great for walks. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. We live in a cul-de-sac in our neighborhood which is great for walking, plus an Invisible fence around our wooded yard, which is great for playing fetch. Dogs are welcome to freely roam inside the home, other than on the living room couch. We have multiple dog beds, toys/bones, and water bowls around the house, plus two couches upstairs that the dogs are allowed on.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was 9! I’ve had two dogs in the past, and currently have 6 cats in my household. I can administer all kinds of medication, and have a past in diabetic care with insulin needles, and oral, liquid medications, and ointment. I understand putting your trust in sitters with your babies is difficult, but I ensure that I will do my very best to love and care for them all I can! 🐾🐾 I’m currently out of work, and between high school and college, so I have plenty of time to take care of animals. I also have a car, so I can make trips to the store or vet clinic if necessary. I will spend all of my time in your home with the animals, playing with them if they are friendly or playful, or just being there for them if they’re shy. I make sure they’re fed, have clean litter, and fresh water. I’m also willing to administer any medication you feel comfortable trusting me with.

About: Ive taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I currently have a 5 & 6 year old golden retriever and lab. I have a huge fenced backyard and do have two littles in my house. I can do boarding, petcare, or drop in visits. UPDATE : I no longer live an apartment - it won’t let me upload on the app. I now live in Powhatan, VA with a backyard! I have a friendly 2 year old lab, a one year old golden, and two cats. All of my animals are very friendly. You can trust me to care for your pets simply because I’ll love them like they’re mine!

About: I take care my sisters dog time to time. I had a pet for 10 years and gave it care and support. I am very patient. I am always available after work to dog sit and my weekends aren't super busy. I am reliable and will meet needs of clients. And work hard. I will give it love and support. I am patient and kind. About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week so my availability will always be changing. But,I will try to keep my Rover calendar up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! The plan is is turn this into a full-time gig so I will have probably more availability as time goes on towards the end of this year, but I’m hoping to find some regular clients that will book with me on a consistent basis! Plus, I’m really looking forward to all the pet snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too! I do highly recommend a meet & greet ahead of time so we can meet pet parents and also meet dog(s)! Let’s them see me and hopefully remember me and feel comfortable with me in their house!
