About: Aside from raising my own 3 fur babies (2 cats and 1 dog- all older babies now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large dobies to small kittens. As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand (as I have 2 of my own) the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend any free time I have to help others while I’m not home. I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the carpet and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

I've had a handful of pet care jobs, mostly doggy daycare and professional pet bathing, where I worked with dogs great and small (and every size in between). I've helped take care of dogs while they were boarding at the daycare by cleaning their rooms, making sure they always had water and a cozy bed, and feeding them according to their parent's instructions (as well as play with them and take them on walks). I am comfortable with all breeds and most temperaments (as long as they're not people aggressive, that's fine!). Between the hours of 6am and 10pm I am open to stop by and check in on your pet or take them on a nice long tiring walk. While I do not sit for pets at my house I would care for clients pets like they're my own. I would follow the rules given to me down to a T, your pet will always be safe in my hands.
