About: I am 48 years old and have had dogs, cats and horses my entire life. I have been an elementary teacher in Fresno for twenty years. I have rescued three dogs from my school in the years that I have been there. I am familiar with local vets, dog parks, pet stores, and walking trails. What sets me apart is that I am a big softy. Animals can tell this and always gravitate towards me. I believe dogs and cats should be allowed on the couch, in the bed and anywhere that is safe for them to be. I understand that animals have feelings too and are all different with different fears and needs. I do not leave my animals outside when I am not home. I do not leave my animals for more than four hours. I do not watch fireworks on the 4th of July because my Boston Terrier needs me at this time. I would do anything for my pets and yours. I just have a huge heart for them. I'm currently off for the summer. I stay home every day and go on walks, cook, read, watch tv and work around the house. “We adopted our Phoebe girl 2 1/2 months ago. She’s been the absolute greatest addition to our family. But with that being said, our family needed a long awaited family vacation. We turned to Rover after a coworker informed me to check out to help out with watching our Phoebe. After reviewing numerous of profiles. Taryn stood out to both my husband and I. We booked her a month in advance and without any hesitation she quickly responded with “I’d love to watch Phoebe”. Taryn scheduled us for a meet and greet about a week later. About: I love animals!! I am experienced in administering medication if needed. A nice walk or play time at the park is always fun, I might even enjoy it more than them. Some fur babies experience separation anxiety when they are without their humans. I try to connect with them and build trust so that the temporary absence of their human won't be so stressful on them. I would not want your baby to feel uncomfortable in their own home so building trust is very important. I would like to note that I am open to care for almost any type of animal. I have had fish, rats, hamsters, birds, snakes, dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it. If I do not feel comfortable in the quality of care I am able to provide your pet based on specific needs (like exotic animals) I will communicate that to you and I will also do my homework. Knowledge is free! I am more than willing to learn I am currently an active foster for a non profit rescue in Oregon as well as a local non profit rescue. The most fosters I have had at once is 8, both big and small breeds. If you'd like to reach out to either of the rescues I am more than happy to provide their info to you I have 4 guinea pigs, 2 hairless guinea pigs (which require a little extra care) and 3 dogs. My mornings before work consist of feeding them. I start with the dogs,then the guinea pigs. I spot clean the guinea pig living areas (they live like they are royal), give them their daily vitamin C and urinary support tablets. After that I give the dogs their allergy chews (they have very sensitive skin). While at work I occasionally check my in home camera to make sure they are all okay. When I come home I repeat the routine with the guinea pigs except this time I do a full cage clean and give them their daily serving of veggies. It is rare, but sometimes I might forget to do one of the things during my morning routine so I will return home on my lunch to make sure it gets done, especially if it can't wait. I am very dedicated, they are my children. I will treat your babies as my own🧡 When caring for your pet in your home I like to go over any special tasks that are required, like feeding times, medications, diet, emotional triggers if any, allergies, etc. The more I know about your pet the better care I will be able to provide. I also like to become familiar with where their things are stored so that I can easily access it at any given time. If I am not able to locate something I will always contact you and ask for more details or permission to look in a different area if needed. While caring for my cousins pets I made sure we are stocked on anything I might need for them during my stay and always make sure to familiarize myself with where things are. I take them outside to potty every hour and a half or so depending on their food and water consumption. I can take them out more frequently if needed. I always make sure to put things back where I got them. If I bring my own treats I will make sure to present them to you and go over ingredients before giving them any in case of any allergy they may have.

I’ve taken nutrition courses, I’m certified in CPR and grooming. I’ve taken behavioral classes and poison control courses as well. I know how to administer basically any form of medication, including IV. I love to take pets on walks when they’re in my car because it helps with anxiety and it’s all around enjoyable for us both! I may be small, but I’ve managed to walk two huskies and a pit bull at once, multiple times so personally I feel like that’s impressive lol. I take them out for many potty breaks and I understand accidents happen in the house or car sometimes as well, so I use all natural cleaners when needed. I like to give many updates, weather it’s for drop ins then I’ll let you know when I arrive and leave and send pictures in between. If I’m house sitting I’ll send random pictures and updates through out the day/night and if for whatever reason I have to leave(to the store or to get food) I also let you know. And house sitting is the same. I also have my mobile grooming kit with me at all times too so If you think your baby needs a bath, their nails cut/grinded down, teeth cleaned, or even fur colored(100% vegan and animal safe dye only) please feel free to let me know any time. I have had many people even just write me a care sheet which also works. I prefer the form/care sheet method just because everything important is right there so if eliminates any room for error. I make goodie baskets for new clients as well as the end of each visit I leave a little report card you know exactly how amazing they did! I make the treats in the baskets from scratch even if they have an allergy I can accommodate! I can make treats for all animals as well. About: Animals and pet care have been a central part of my life since I was a child. I grew up surrounded by dogs, taking care of not only my pets, but the pets of my neighbors as well (both dog walking and house sitting). About: I’ve always had dogs ever since I can remember; we’ve had big and small dogs. I give my dogs food at a timed time, I walk them, I bathe them and I play with them. About: I am 48 years old and have had dogs, cats and horses my entire life. I have been an elementary teacher in Fresno for twenty years. I have rescued three dogs from my school in the years that I have been there. I am familiar with local vets, dog parks, pet stores, and walking trails. What sets me apart is that I am a big softy. Animals can tell this and always gravitate towards me. I believe dogs and cats should be allowed on the couch, in the bed and anywhere that is safe for them to be.
