About: Hey there! A little bit about me - I grew up in a dog loving household so I’ve been taking care of, loving, and playing with furry friends my whole life. After moving to the city away from my own, I decided to get into Wag to still be around animals and help pay the bills! I have experience in all things from long walks to short ones, big dogs to small dogs, feeding, playing, pottying, all of the above. I’d love to get to know your pup whenever you need an extra hand! I tend to have a pretty flexible schedule!! I will always try to find space in my day and week to help care for your pup. I’m new to the River scene in NYC but have been successfully walking dogs on another pet care app for over a year!! (50 services to be exact). Mainly a lot of walks ranging from short to long and a few drop in visits. I am unable to host dogs in my apartment building, but will happily do an overnight stay at someone’s home if that’s what you all need!

“Sydney is the best ! Sophie loves her and she is on time to the minute. Sydney is very friendly and a take charge person with her job and do appreciate it during a time I was sick.”

About: With over 16 years of pet-sitting experience, I bring calm, capable care to every visit. As a proud mama to two special needs dogs, I’m well-versed in tailored routines, medication management, and extra TLC. I also have a soft spot (and strong leash hand) for large and misunderstood breeds having grown up with them my whole life. I’m trained in basic pet first aid and have a vet tech in the family on speed dial, so your pet is in safe hands and guaranteed to be treated like my own! I work from home and taking walk breaks and playtime with the dogs is what keeps me happy! The flexibility in my schedule lends itself perfectly to caring for your fur babies! I have two friendly dogs at home but can easily crate yours or mine if necessary while sitting. With a two story home I can sequester the dogs if needed as well, but otherwise there’s plenty of room for play time and snuggles. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a culdesac and walkies are my specialty. If just caring for your pet during the day, you let me know what’s best for you and your pets routine and I will happily comply. Both of my dogs are special needs and require medicine several times a day. If you leave basic instructions for me, I will be happy to take care of this for you, as well as anything else you may need for your pet while you’re out.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 12 when I got my first dog, a Yorkie. Shortly there after,I started learning the responsibilities of taking care of a dog. Over the years, I've watched friends and family's animals. I currently have an amazing Husky/Lab mix, going on 5 years old and a 1 year old ferret. My dogs personality is mostly Husky, so I am very familiar with their character, sassy attitude and high maintenance personality ♥ He is my only dog. I take him to the beach daily. I love it when there are other dogs, he loves to play and swim with them. I'm always looking for doggy play dates for him. I have 10 years experience with exotics, specifically ferrets.❤️ I currently work professionally as a Certified Death and Eldercare Doula.I am a non medical holistic Practitioner. I work as part of the hospice team helping & supporting patients and their families creating a beautiful end of life experience. I also actively volunteer with families at Coastal Hospice. My specialty is helping Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. I work part time 3 to 4 nights a week as a server at a popular local restaurant. I can be very flexible on my available days. I love ❤️ all animals . I would welcome and be advised by the client on how they would like things handled in their home with regards to the care of their fur babies.

“Ken was wonderful, but more importantly my Danes loved him. He was always on time, if not early, and was professional and kind. I highly recommend him, and I will be using him again.”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals from a young age, and they’ve always been an important part of my life. Working at an emergency veterinary clinic gave me hands-on experience handling animals with care and confidence, even in high-stress situations. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how to create a safe, loving environment and set healthy boundaries. I also gained valuable insight into training through my own dog’s work with a professional trainer, which taught me practical techniques to support positive behavior day to day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended care. I’m generally able to adjust my day around your pet’s schedule, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and never rushed. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each animal’s routine, personality, and any special needs or boundaries to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all client instructions carefully and keep you updated, so you can feel at ease while you're away. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and focused on keeping your pet’s environment calm and consistent. During walks I stay alert to surroundings, other animals, and people to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Every pet is unique, and I take pride in providing thoughtful, trustworthy care that helps them feel happy, safe, and loved.

About: Hi! I’m Anna, and I’m here in the USA just for the summer. I currently work as a lifeguard, but my profession in the Czech Republic is a paramedic I would really appreciate the opportunity to take care of your dog — I’d love to take them for walks! Back home in the Czech Republic, I have a Great Dane, and I miss her so much! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, especially Great Danes — we’ve had them in our family since I was a child. I’ve been training them from puppyhood and every one of our dogs lived a long, happy life. We also had a Dachshund, so I’m experienced with both large and small breeds. Responsibility, safety, and care are second nature to me — and I bring that same mindset to working with animals. During walks, I’ll always send photo updates so you can feel confident your dog is happy and safe. “Every weekend, my schedule is different because of my lifeguard job, so unfortunately I can’t commit to a regular time or routine. But I’m always happy to help whenever I’m available — we can just stay in touch and see what works each week! I usually have three full days off each week, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog. I’m currently living in a rented house with other lifeguards for the summer, so unfortunately I can’t offer pet sitting at our place. But I’d be more than happy to take your dog for walks! I always use a leash and make sure to keep a close eye on the dog at all times to ensure their safety. I can also take care of your dog at your home, including overnight stays if needed.

About: Growing up, I've always had dogs and cats around, so taking care of them feels like second nature to me. I've watched pets for neighbors and friends, dealing with all sorts of breeds and personalities. Now, I have my own little crew: two pitbulls, two bichons, and a cat! I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! I am available on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow instructions carefully, provide lots of love and attention to pets, maintain a clean environment, and keep ample communication!
