About: I have taken care of family pets since I was a child. As an adult, I have invested my time in rescuing pets that need a little extra time and attention. Currently I have two dogs, Chuck Norris & Winchester, who I adopted from local rescus. I have spent the last 4 years working with Norris on extreme separation anxiety and special dietary needs. My hope is that I can continue helping animals by assisting y'all here on Rover with your pet care needs! If you hire me, I promise your fur babies will be given the time, care and respect I give to mine. I work as a care coordinator, allowing me the ability to make my own schedule. That means I am able to care for your pets at all times throughout the day :) I do not bring pets into my home but will come to yours as many as 3 times per day. About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.
