About: Welcome to Pop's Fetch & Rest. I'm a retired Army Officer and live alone in a cozy single story cottage. The property is unfenced so being on leash is essential. I typically am not away from home for more than 2 hours at a time so dogs become the center of my happy little world. I have owned dogs all my life and am experienced in administering medications. Being retired, I am quite flexible and available to schedule with short notice or longer range planning. Other than Church on Sunday, no real commitments. A stay with me would be like a visit with an old friend...a nice balance of play & rest. Bird and squirrel watching is optional.

One of our dearly departed GSP's "Star" had epilepsy & needed a variety of medications. With out these, she wouldn't have had a longer life. It was a blessing to be able to help her live longer by giving her her daily medications. Mr. Hank & Becca are our fur babies! Everyday is an adventure and we wouldn't know what to do without them. :-) See you soon! Daily meals, walks, play time, potty breaks and cuddles are our everyday events. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood where lots of pups and dogs take daily walks and play time. While we don't have a fenced in backyard, it's tree lined with lots of space to run.

Their place is on an amazing piece of land and Chris was very helpful in finding the best location for Maxi's short visit. Chris took lots of photos of Maxi and made sure she had plenty of fun. I highly recommend her and Jess and awesome sitters for your furry friends.”

Along with the Yorkie Terrier, I have an elderly cat, and a 60 gallon salt water reef tank, so my babies have to stay at my home, and need to be fed twice a day. It's wonderful to return from a three week trip and find the dog and cat spoiled and happy; but even better to find the reef tank still as wonderful as when I left. It takes a real caring person to find that kind of attention.”
