About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. I don’t want to disturb any routine and want the animal to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: Working at a Veterinary Hospital before going to college absolutely solidified my love for animals and caring for them! I love learning their unique traits and I can’t wait to bond with your pets! I’m currently a full time student at JMU but I’m looking to add pet sitting into my routine! About: I’m a responsible college student with a genuine love for animals and a flexible schedule to give your pet tons of attention, exercise, and snuggles! Being home from college for the summer gives me the perfect opportunity to provide reliable, attentive pet care. I have lots of free time for walks, playtime, and snuggles. I love house sitting as well. I am a responsible college student home for the summer. I am happy to provide pet care in your home, where your pet feels most comfortable. In my home we have 3 dogs. Winston is a Bernese Mountain Dog, Rosie is a Yorkie, and Sofie is a Bernadoodle mix. So I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and I have 2 pets of my own. I feed and take them on walks every day I have 2 pets of my own. A dog named Reese and a cat named Sawyer. I am able to come to someone's home also. I also work in the evenings Wednesday through Sunday so I am able to care for animals in the mornings and all day on the days that I am off from my regular job which is Monday and Tuesday. If you need an overnight sitter I can do that as well. My schedule at work is usually 7 hrs and I would be able to come stay a night after I get off work. We can discuss that at a later time upon booking if needed. I take my dog out on the leash because of the place that I live at doesn't have a fenced in yard. Watch them closely when not on leash. I also have kennels that can separate them if needed.

About: I have grown up with having dogs as pets my whole life. I grew up on a farm so I have experience in caring for livestock as well. I have a very flexible schedule this summer including weekdays and weekends as I am home from college for summer break. Please feel free to reach out! About: I’ve always owned lots of pets. Currently own 4 dogs. I love animals of all kinds. I work full time and am only available afternoon/evenings and weekends. Looking for evening and weekend dog walking or dog sitting. I work full time during the day depending on location I could possibly do drop ins during the day. I do not do care in my home due to my own dogs. I do everything I can to make your pets as comfortable as possible while in my care.

About: I’ve had two brother cats for nine years and have loved taking care of them! I’ve also dog sat relatives dogs and absolutely love to take them on walks, give baths, and keep them company I’m happy to stay as long as preferred while animal sitting! If any pets need a little extra care like consistent walks, I can take care of them Having a handicapped cat, i’m able to work with animals who may need extra assistance in meals, medical care, and walks. Because of my two cats, It would be likely that I take care of clients pets in their own home.

About: I have lived with cats and dogs my entire life. Taken care of neighbors’ and co-worker’s pets. Previously worked for a cat vet, so giving medications is not a problem. Recently retired and looking to stay busy! I currently live with three of my own dogs and I’m finding extra free time these days.
