About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. I don’t want to disturb any routine and want the animal to feel as comfortable as possible.

Kaylee is amazing. Thank you, Kaylee! I felt so reassured knowing my mom's dachshund was receiving excellent care while we were away. Remi loved Kaylee too. I can't wait until I need Kaylee again. It's so nice to know someone is there to bail me out when I get the responsibility of pet sitting myself. Kaylee minded all the instructions for this old dog and her issue-laden back. You will be so happy that you picked Kaylee to snuggle your beloved pets.

Caleb is personable, friendly, and energetic enough to keep up with our lively puppy. Stella would always return her walks with Caleb happy, joyful, and yet ready for a nice puppy nap. Caleb even took the extra step to come over for an introductory visit to meet Stella, get acquainted, and talk us through any concerns/answer questions. Highly recommend using Caleb & Julianna.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and I have 2 pets of my own. I feed and take them on walks every day I have 2 pets of my own. A dog named Reese and a cat named Sawyer. I am able to come to someone's home also. I also work in the evenings Wednesday through Sunday so I am able to care for animals in the mornings and all day on the days that I am off from my regular job which is Monday and Tuesday. If you need an overnight sitter I can do that as well. My schedule at work is usually 7 hrs and I would be able to come stay a night after I get off work. We can discuss that at a later time upon booking if needed. I take my dog out on the leash because of the place that I live at doesn't have a fenced in yard. Watch them closely when not on leash. I also have kennels that can separate them if needed.

About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.

About: Rest assured you beloved pet is good hands with me. Our HUGE backyard has a 5' fence to keep your pet safe. Even the most anxious pet will be at peace in our backyard. Our patio is also covered so during the "dog days" of summer, your pet will have it made in the shade! Daily walks/runs are the highlight of your pets stay. We have endless acres to walk nearby so your pet will get plenty of exercise. I also offer pet massage & grooming for an additional charge. (BCMT-HHP, NREMT) Your pet may not want to leave after their stay with us :-). Beauty, Norm and “Mickey“ About this sitter: Feel free to get in touch with me about any of your pets needs & concerns. Namaste, Lynn "Beauty" B., NREMT-BCMT, HHP Why I love dog sitting I've been dog owner & lover since childhood. I've worked with award winning breeders, trainers & kennels from coast to coast. I'm the Past President of the German Shorthair Rescue Society of So. CA <gsp dash rescue dot org> & my husband Norm of almost 28 years was Past Vice President. He's also a life long dog owner & lover too. Meet my pet: "Mickey” (German Shorthair Pointer) is waiting to make new fur-ever friends with your pets. About my yard Our HUGE backyard has a LARGE 5' fence with beautiful lush grass for your dogs relief area. It's a beautiful back yard with plenty of room to run & play. There is also a large shaded area that attaches to the house for the "dog days" of summer. Your pet may not want to go home after staying with us. :-) My experience administering medication Yes. I've had quite the experience dealing with dogs in need. One of our dearly departed GSP "Becca” had neurological issues & needed a variety of medications. With out these, she wouldn't have had a longer life. It was a blessing to be able to help her live longer by giving her her daily medications. Mickey is our fur baby! Everyday is an adventure and we wouldn't know what to do without him. Daily meals, walks, play time, potty breaks and cuddles are our everyday events. We make sure your pet becomes part of our family pack. Special dietary needs and medications are also addressed with your pets needs. I’m retired and a stay at home doggie mom. Your pet will become part of our “pack”’ and feel right at home with our dogs. We feed twice a day (7am-ish and 5pm-ish) If you’re pet needs more specific meals and times we’re more than happy to accommodate their needs.

About: I have had dogs all of my life. From a German Shephard, to Labs, Goldens, Huskies, Shih Tzu, I have had them all. I have experience giving my Red Fox Lab, Big Boy Butters insulin shots, since he is diabetic. My Goldens, Maggie and Ollie, love playing tennis ball and going for walks. Daisy, my Shih Tzu, thinks that she is a Doberman even though she is only 15 pounds. They all love to wrestle. I have a fenced in yard where they can run freely. They enjoy their treats and all of the rubs they can handle. I also have experience with salt water/fresh water fish and reptiles. Just love animals. They are always happy to see you and they enjoy being loved. I am working full time but have an open ended schedule and am willing to make anything work. I can either come to you or willing to have your pets stay with me. I have 3 teenagers that also love dogs that are willing to help out. Your pets will not be ignored and will get plenty of attention. I have a fenced in yard. I have two goldens, a lab, and a shih tzu currently if your pets would be coming here. I can also stay at your house to take care of your pets. Can make anything work. I have had dogs/cats/fish and reptiles for over 50 years so I have plenty of experience. Butters, my Red Fox Lab, is diabetic so I also have experience with medication and insulin shots.

About: My family's love and appreciation for animals has instilled values of pet-care, discipline, and adoration for animals within me. Throughout my life, I've always owned a dog or cat, so I've grown accustomed to animal needs and routines. My experience with fostering has taught me the individuality of a dog's needs and how pets require care that is specific to their conditions and dispositions. One of my fosters was a puppy, so I have experience with a range of dog ages. Another was a border collie, so I am familiar with high energy dogs. My parents possess strict and high standards for the pet sitters that take care of our cat and dog, which has extended to my current standards that I hold for myself. I completely understand the struggle of leaving your pets, and with this in mind I will provide loving, reliable, and trustworthy care. As a student who is on break for the winter, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. Having a flexible winter schedule allows me to devote ample time and attention to your pet's needs. My years of experience with animals allow me to affectionately and quickly connect with other pets. I strive to create a calm and loving atmosphere so your pets will feel at home with me. It is my top priority to ensure your pet's happiness and safety. With my accumulated knowledge I will cater to your pets individual needs, whether that be feeding, grooming, playtime, or cuddles.

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
