About: I’ve been caring for pets informally for my entire life and professionally starting 12 years ago. I care for each pet like they are my own. I am sensitive to their energy and needs. I am able to work with animals who have unique social/emotional and medical needs. I mainly work with dogs and cats but am also experienced in caring for small animals like rabbits, birds, reptiles and fish. I’m currently working part-time, and my schedule varies a bit week to week. I am free mornings and evenings, most Thursdays, as well as Mondays after 2 pm. I usually work shifts under 8 hours, so with good communication I would be thrilled to come up with a plan that will suit you and your pet(s). For now, I am able to care for and board cats and small animals in my home. In the summer, I can board dogs in my fenced in yard. For dogs and larger animals, I can take them for walks and pet sit by traveling to your home. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I have managed to ensure my pet rabbit feels safe while also living with a rambunctious one-year-old labrador retriever. I am always cautious about my pets and my clients’ pet’s whereabouts. I’ve helped return missing neighborhood cats and dogs to their owners as well as assist with unexpected visits to the vet.

My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.

My schedule is Tuesday 11a-11p - Friday 7a-7p - Saturday 1p-1a and I do pick up shifts here and there. With this being said, I can come by before and/or after my shifts. I am currently not accepting boarding as my current living situation is not feasible for more animals than I currently own. I can care for pets in your home!
