About: Loving, Reliable Pet Care – Tailored to Your Pet’s Needs! 🐾 Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets—playful puppies, curious kittens, gentle seniors, and animals with disabilities or special needs. 🐶🐱💕 I previously worked at an animal shelter, which gave me extensive experience handling pets of all temperaments and situations. I’m extremely comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injections if needed) and I always make sure every animal gets the extra love and attention they deserve. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I always make time for your pets—stopping by during my hour lunch break for walks, potty breaks, feeding, or just some midday snuggles and care. When I’m off the clock, I’m available to be at your home as much as you'd like, and I frequently stay overnight to keep pets happy and stress-free in their own space. Best of all, I'm completely free on weekends, so I can dedicate my full attention to your furry family members all weekend long. Whether it’s for a quick check-in or a full weekend of love and care, I’m here to treat your pets like family—with compassion, patience, and a whole lot of tail wags and purrs. ❤️ Let’s chat and make sure your beloved companions get the care they deserve! I work full time Monday through Friday but I do have an hour lunch break where I can stop by and let animals out and feed them if needed. When I am not at work, I am available to be at your home as much as you would like me there. I frequently stay in peoples homes with their pets. I am off work on weekends so I can dedicate the entire weekend to your furry babies. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

About: I’ve been the primary caregiver for my family’s dogs (2–3 at a time) for over 8 years. I’ve also provided dog-sitting services for multi-dog households in my community, earning excellent reviews from happy pet parents! I’m available Monday through Friday after 5 p.m., and I’m completely free and flexible on weekends to give your pets the love and care they deserve! I’m happy to provide walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of loving pets and snuggles to keep your furry friends happy and cared for!

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have a good sense on how to read them and their comfort level. I enjoy all breeds and personalities when it comes to dogs and will meet them wherever they are at to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. As a pet parent who uses Rover, I know how important it is to know your pet is well taken care of while you're not there. I am also a volunteer dog walker at UPAWS and have learned a lot from the staff there on how to properly meet and interact with new dogs. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of free time to devote to taking care of your pet(s)! I spend a lot of my free time volunteering with various local organizations. I have a cat in my home, so I wouldn't be able to care for pets at my house, but I would take quality care of pets in their own home. I would follow whatever routine they normally have to try to reduce the stress of their people being gone.

“Amelia has been wonderful! We appreciate all she does for our cats while we are away on trips. She sends updates and photos to us while we are gone. It makes us smile and makes us feel at ease to know our pets are in good hands. Definitely recommend her, Amelia is wonderful!!”

“Karina took excellent care of our 2 dogs while we were away for a few days. She provided updates and photos daily of our doggos having fun. Both dogs are mixed aussie shephards and are anxious around new people, especially when its on their turf. Karina was not detured and they became quick best buds. Our minds were at ease the whole trip while they were in her care. We highly recommend Karina for anyone looking for dog sitters.”

“Would highly recommend Sophia! She was very accommodating for our dogs schedule and handled a stressful situation very professionally. She kept us informed of what was going on and sent pics of our pup while we were gone. Gave us peace of mind and would definitely have her dog sit again!”

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

“Maggie and Oakley instantly accepted Matt. Matt recognized large dog excitement and responsed with quiet control. He respected Maggie's senior needs. While Oakley just wanted to cuddle. Matt gathered information for their care, sent us pictures of each dog and adapted his service to our needs. We will hire Matt again for our dogs care”

About: Hello! I have a large fenced yard in Little Lake that gives me the opportunity to board dogs that need space to run and exercise, and I have extra space inside my home that allows dogs who also enjoy their space/alone time. I’d love to offer boarding or daycare to anyone who needs extra support for their animals. I’m in Marquette County and can get around quickly so hit me up ! 😎 I also will meet halfway for anyone who cant make the full drive out. Just let me know how I can best support you! I work during the day but have lots of flexibility after work and on the weekends. My current schedule is M-T 8-4 with F-Sun completely off. Animals are sensitive and it’s important to stick to their routine if they have one, which includes respecting food brand, time of day to eat and walks. This consideration also helps me build trust with your animals!

“Paige was excellent with our 2 big dogs! I am always a little worried to travel without them and she did an excellent job keeping us updated and taking care of them. We could tell they were receiving top notch care! Highly recommend!”

Im also certified in pet training and administrating medicine. I have knowledge of dietary needs, breeds and their hyper levels, helping me determine how to best care for your pups or kitties. I offer longer walks then usual (I love nature) Picture updates (professional photos included if i have my camera) I offer pet training if needed. Cage Free pet care!! noncitric pet training. *I DO NOT KEEP DOG KENNELS AS THEY CAN BE STRESSFUL FOR RESCUES AND FORMERLY ABUSED DOGS*

About: I have been around animals for most of my life and love hanging out with them. I have also been a house sitter a couple times for some of my family members while they are out of town as well. I'm currently attending Northern Michigan University so I will be mostly available on weekends as well as most weekdays after 3:30pm. Any other times can be discussed as needed! Sara T.
“Sara is hands down the best critter and home care provider we have ever hired! Her love for our animals is apparent in both the quality of care she provides and the updates she regularly shares with us while we are away. We get daily pet pics of our small old dog, our kitten, and our hamster from Sara every day we are gone. She’s always doing something fun with our pup, taking him outside to meander or bringing him for rides with her. He loves when she comes - I sometimes think he loves her more than he loves us! She also has proven ability to administer special care, as our dog has been on medication under her watch before and she easily gave him his meds and monitored his behavior for us. And the quality of care doesn’t stop there. Without fail, Sara leaves our home cleaner than it was when we left. We trust her with all of our most precious belongings (and of course, with our pets) - a trust that has been earned through several week+ long stays at our home. We feel so grateful to have Sara as part of our world. I truly can’t recommend her enough! Whether it’s a daily drop-in, a love and snuggles play date, or a long-term in-house stay, you will not regret choosing Sara to care for your critters.”

Kendra S.
“I have a reactive (due to trauma) pit bull who makes a terrible first impression to the point where people cross the street when we are walking. She is so scared of new situations and other dogs, she becomes highly reactive to the point where most people avoid her. She has separation anxiety and takes medication to help, but new people, dogs, and environments are just tough for this dog. I can't trust just anyone to care for her or walk her. Kendra's energy made an immediate positive impact on my dog and I would trust her with any dog or cat. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and detail oriented. You couldn't wish for a better pet care professional than Kendra. My only advice is get on her calendar now because it fills up quickly! Kendra has cared for pets her whole life and brings years of experience and knowledge. She's my number 1 go-to for my dog.”

“Olivia did an awesome job watching DJ! She sent us quite a few updates along with pictures! He looked like he was a happy boy all weekend. Definitely highly recommend her!”

Sarah S.
“Sarah is an absolute animal lover! She has pets of her own and they are very well cared for and loved. Sarah is very responsible and will take great care of your dog!”

Paige G.

“Paige was excellent with our 2 big dogs! I am always a little worried to travel without them and she did an excellent job keeping us updated and taking care of them. We could tell they were receiving top notch care! Highly recommend!”

Jeff E.
“I have a wonderful husky/Akita/elkhound who just passed his second birthday, and two elderly old bully mixes. Due to some unexpected health issues, my wife and I have had multiple instances of short term notice travel, as well as one planned vacation, of a week. After having Jeff watch my fur babies (the younger being rather enthusiastic by nature) I wouldn't trust the job to anybody else with the task. He's kind to all of our animals brings the pup home for overnights (which he Even got a teddy bear from) and everyone is always healthy and happy upon return. If you need someone to care for your fur babies on your absence, look no further!”

Jaymaycia R.
“Where should I start?? Well she trained my service dog at 17 who is known as her first client Ace who is a Golden Retrever. She is a very out going person, loves all types of animals from insects to amphibians, she was very hands on with my dog and me. She provided her own treats had her own method of training Ace. She later went on to train our brand new Husky Eskimo who she trained a in 2018 to also be a service dog for our daughter Maria. She walked the dogs occasionally she took them to the dog park, she bathed and groomed him for free. She’s raw hide free she does non human food treats. Buys fresh pig ears and buys the dog food fitting for my dog. Sent pictures of my dogs to me through out the day of her service, also took professional pictures of my babies for me after her service. Overall great service, very nice, communication skills are outstanding, and keeps you updated. Keep going Jaymaycia and I look forward to seeing you go forward”

Hawk P.
“We highly recommend Hawk! Finley just loves when Hawk comes to visit. Hawk was great to get Finley out for walks and get his daily play time in. You surely can tell Hawk has a love for animals! You can rest assured when Hawk is taking care of your fur-baby.”
