I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

About: I've had lots of animals my entire life and I definitely have a way with them. I especially have a soft spot for the older souls, but I love the energetic puppies too! I work part time and have plenty of free time to care for your pups. I am very organized and have a pretty set routine that can easily include any additional fur babies I have 2 large fenced yards, one is occupied by my grandparents dogs, but the other is empty for any guests. We have a large indoor space as well and plenty of space for playing and sleeping

About: I have cared for my own dogs and cats for over 40 years. I have not done this professionally, other than helping out friends and families while on vacation. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet and home is cared for while you are away. If there are gatherings I am usually the one hanging out with the dogs/cats and keeping them at ease when there are a bunch of people around. I am available early mornings and late afternoons and evenings and most weekends I am available any hours...but I have some flexibility to meet other needs. In our yard I try to train them to stay in the yard. I have done leash yard training but typically let them run around. When had a fence yard I typically left my dogs out as much as possible.

About: There has never been a time in my life where I DIDNT have a pet! My family and I move animals, and I’ve been taking care of a large verity of them since I was just seven years old! I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish, axolotls, and more. Furthermore, I have spent over 100 hours volunteering with animals in my local humane society. I have taken care of pets in all ages, sizes, and species so I am confident I’ll be able to care for any pet you send my way! I’m currently working a part time position so i have plenty of time to spend with your beloved fur babies! My shifts only last 5 to 6 hours on working days so I am able to visit pets frequently! I am more than happy to adapt to whatever care process you want me to enact with your pet! I have lots of experience walking, feeding, and crating dogs. I also have experience caring for dogs on the more aggressive side, and have learned tactics to keep me and the pet safe.

I can go see your furry friend and play with them before I go to work, on my lunch break ( if you are close to my area ) go see them after work, and before bed!! I will care for your animal in your home by trying to stick to your pet's regular routine for feeding, walks, and playtime . I'll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your home is secure and your pet is safe. I'll clean up any messes and leave you a note about our time together!

About: I spent my college years working at kennels for cats and dogs. I’ve also been known to house sit for friends with multiple dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens. I work part time at Frito Lay. I write full time (and take the occasional class). I travel a lot with work but keep a flexible schedule.
