Taylor was great working with our dog who get very anxious meeting new people. She did everything possible to make our dog more comfortable and it worked out great. She was able to take a nice walk with our dog and worked with our dog to make her more comfortable. I would recommend Taylor to anyone looking for services on Rover.

About: Looking to make some side money loving on animals. I’ve always been an animal lover! What better way to spend my time and resources than loving on animals! I really need to be making money to help my college education and all of my expenses. I’m a moderately strict pet sitter. We have breakfast and dinner, no other times fed (unless the animal has specified needs). I take good care of animals. I know too many horror stories from shelters I’ve been involed with and I can’t even imagine animals being treated poorly. Your animal will be loved, taken care of, and very happy with me. I guarantee it. If you have any questions about me, my ideals, how I do things, please do not hesitate to ask!

About: I’m the person people call when their animals need real care — not just a walk around the block. I regularly foster puppies, kittens, and medical-case animals, so I’m used to everything from bottle babies to pets who need meds, deworming, wound care, and structured routines. Nothing fazes me. I work in animal care, and I’m hands-on every day with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m big on structure, safety, and making sure your pet feels secure, not stressed. Whether your dog is a stage-five clinger, a shy baby deer, or a chaos gremlin, I’ve probably fostered one just like them. I work a flexible bartending job but with the accompaniment of my boyfriend your furry friend will get the upmost attention and care! We follow strict routine that we customize to our current client or foster. I respect and reinforce owners boundaries. My home is optimized for animal safety and with my extensive animal care knowledge I am confidently able to provide a safe and structured environment.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. If I were to be in a clients home, I would do my best to ensure the animal stays in their routine and their feeding/medication is on schedule. They’d get plenty of play times and unlimited cuddles!

About: My name is Allie and I have been sitting for dogs for years. I have 3 labs of my own and have had many before. Dogs are my favorite! I am currently in school from 8-11:20 daily but am flexible any time after that from Monday through Friday. Weekends can be discussed but overall flexible! Due to my dogs at home I would not be sitting any dogs at my home but I am willing to travel distance. I am very good with all animals and love taking them on walks.

About: I am a reliable, responsible, and caring pet owner with hands-on experience caring for two dogs and one cat. Through daily pet care, I have developed a strong understanding of animal needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, grooming, administering basic care, cleaning up after pets, and recognizing changes in behavior that may indicate stress or illness. As a teacher on summer break, I am looking for a reliable source of income while school is out. My background in education reflects my patience, responsibility, and commitment to caring for others. I have experience caring for my own pets—two dogs and one cat—and understand the importance of consistency, trust, and attention to detail. Pet owners can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and attentive to their pets’ needs. I am excited to spend my summer helping families by providing quality pet care and companionship for their furry family members. 🐾 I have experience caring for my own two dogs and one cat, so I understand the importance of maintaining routines and making pets feel comfortable in a new environment. My resident cat is accustomed to other animals, and I carefully monitor all introductions and interactions to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. If needed, I can also provide separate spaces for pets that prefer a quieter environment.

I appreciate Lillian for being reliable for taking care of my rover dog. She arrived on time to walk Edie on a holiday evening, followed instructions for dog care, took a couple of photos, and issued a rover report on Edie’s activities. I would recommend her service and we rebook her when needed.

About: My name is Mallorie. I'm a mom. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends. I have a Alaskan Malamute. Her name is Carly Rae. I've also adopted five stray cats. They showed up on my door step, and since then I've been taking care of them. Some of my hobbies are, hiking, camping, and swimming. My dog loves hiking with me. I'm excited to get to know your pet and care for them! 🐕 Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. An act as simple as refilling their food bowl at the same time every day is enough to make them feel comfortable in their living space. Proper pet care includes providing a safe and comfortable area. Frequency with letting out to use the bathroom. Making sure that your pet gets regular exercise, such as walks and play time.

About: Ive taken care of animals my whole life. Whether it was a dog, ferret, or even a goldfish I absolutely adore animals with my whole heart. Im currently going to school full time with a very open schedule that gives me a majority of the day to be free for whatever I need to do. Ive grown up with both crate trained and uncrate trained dogs both big (cane torso) or small (chihuahua) and have had no problem getting them in comfortably and safely. Having multiple pets makes keeping track of when they need to go out and when they should be fed very easy making sure to have as little accidents as possible and always checking the surroundings when letting them in and out of the house.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals and feel very comfortable handling pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work in recreational therapy twice a week, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail skills that carry over into providing safe and attentive pet care. As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. Overall, I am dedicated to making families feel safe with leaving their pets at home and making the pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time and am an online college student. I work Wednesday and Friday nights from 4pm-9pm. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.

About: I have a genuine love for all animals and perhaps a special affinity towards man’s best friend! I have had the pleasure of taking care of and owning animals of various kinds throughout the entirety of my life, from cats and dogs, to ferrets and bunnies! I am able to offer basic puppy training, senior dog care/disabled dog care and also administer medicines. Follow our journeys at themanyminiadventures on IG. I work part-time and am the caregiver for my mother since a bad accident in November of last year and have time to walk, play with, feed and take care of your animal’s needs throughout the day, week or even over the weekend! I enjoy getting to know & have fun with different pups and genuinely understand how important it is to leave your fur babies in good hands. My schedule is very flexible for pup-sitting, spending time with your fur babies and giving them adequate playtime and potty opportunities outside. I treat your fur babies like they’re our fur babies while they are here with the exception of following their diet and your specific instructions. We also: walk dogs on a leash. have extra crates if needed. allow dogs outside time for play in a fenced in part of the yard with the pup friends they came with or solo. provide potty and exercise walks while leashed to allow for new scents as well. Feed pups separately unless they came together and we have been notified they eat well together by the owner(s). have additional sleeping blankets and puppy bedding when needed. notify you immediately in the case of any abnormalities/concerns or emergencies. provide you with pictures and updates over the course of your pup’s stay.

About: I have about 10 years experience walking and training dogs. I have my own doggo as well that could help with socializing. Walking dogs is great for exercise, but also a great opportunity to build confidence and help your best friend to understand us better. If you need a pet sitter, I’m your guy. I am a retired Marine who has experience working with military pups. The hardest part in training these amazing pups is that most of them outranked me. Lol I believe walks or just outside time in general is very important. I have my own doggo stay in my yard without a fence by using the invisible fencing. If you need help with anything for your pup from visits to sit ins to socializing or just some walks, I would love to help.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your West Hatton. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in West Hatton.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Hatton. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
