“Bill was great, we felt very comfortable leaving our dog with him for the week. He was able to give our dog his medication, took him on daily walks, and gave him lots of love and attention!”

“Christine and family took great care of Ginger. We received many pictures and updates of the shenanigans our pup was getting into. They took everything in stride and were very accommodating to Gingers needs. I will be reaching out to Christine for any future boarding needs”

“I highly recommend Jessica! It was obvious she is a ‘dog whisperer’, gentle soul, who will make your dog feel like they are at home! She sent daily photos, videos, updates, gave my dog her monthly & quarterly medication, provided her a comfy crate to sleep in, and a kiddy pool filled with strawberries! And there’s 3 dog friends to bond with! My fur baby had a loving spa experience! Book with Jessica!”

“Amber and her husband took great care of my little girl. Amber sent a picture of her and informed me of the positive interaction with her dogs. I will definitely utilize her services again in the future. Thanks so much Amber.”

“Michelle and Keith are a lovely couple with a lovely home. They were able to take my pup in for a few days with very short notice. My dog took one sniff of them at our meet and greet and it was love at first smell. They took her on several walks, gave her lots of pets and love, took excellent care of her and sent me updates with photos daily. This is my first time using Rover and it was an excellent experience. I would definitely book with them again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a sitter!”

“The second we met Vanessa, we were instantly relieved and comforted to know that we were leaving our Bingo in good hands. Vanessa is so kind and easy to talk to, and provided several updates throughout the day. Bingo fit in so well with her dogs - they were instant friends. I'm so happy we found Vanessa and will continue to use her services.”

“Angela always takes such good care of our pug! We get lots of pictures while we are away which always makes me feel good😊 our boy loves their house. We’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Carmen took wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time we needed to board our almost 2 year old dog, who has separation anxiety. Carmen’s knowledge of animal behavior was very helpful in this situation. My dog seemed to enjoy himself! Great experience!”

“This was the second time Katherine has kept my fur baby Onyx. Her service was great just like the first time and Onyx likes being there and it gives him socialization with her two fur babies! She kept me updated and I didn’t have to worry about him. I will continue to use her services!”

“Friendly and easy to talk to, Angel is the best you can find around! She has a secure indoor facility for your fur baby so you can rest assured they’re safe and comfortable! 5 stars, highly recommend!”

“Elya was by far the best dog sitter we’ve found on Rover. She was so intentional to spend time with our dog, taking her on walks and giving her a bath during her stay. It felt like we were dropping our dog off at a friends’ house rather than just a boarding place. Easily 5 stars!!!”

“Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”

“Our boys had a fabulous time with Pam! She took wonderful care of them and left them the ability to get comfortable in her home. We will definitely be back to visit again.”

“Niella made my dog, Grace, come out of her shell. She took such good care of my baby that she didn’t even want to come home! I know I’ll always have a safe and loving place to take my dog whenever I’m away!”

I treat all animals with the highest level of care whether it is my own pet or someone else’s. I have my eyes on the pets at all times both inside and outside of the home. I worked in the veterinary field through college and retired in 2024. All that knowledge stays with me and I continue to stay up to date on animal care. You will get regular photo updates of your babies during my drop in’s and/or boarding.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I have helped family members, coworkers, neighbors, and other families by feeding, walking, playing with, etc. with their dogs, including both daytime visits and overnight stays. I also have experience with fostering dogs from a shelter for the day. I would love the opportunity to help you with your dog! I am a student right now and only taking four classes this semester so I have a pretty open schedule. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the mornings before 11 and anytime after 12:30/1; and Tuesdays and Thursdays before 9, 12:30-1:30, and after 3:30. My weekends are pretty much open for anytime. I have experience dealing with multiple types of dogs (different breads and sizes) and always listen to the owners request of how things should be done.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
