She even included pictures of the dogs food to show they ate and how much! (Our dogs only eat a little when we are gone, so refreshing to see they felt comfortable enough to eat with her). About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by 5 English Mastiffs, a pitbull, and 5 cats, so I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and personalities. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for my dog Rex during his final months, which gave me experience with health issues, medications, and supporting pets with disabilities. Over the years, I’ve also watched many different dogs, and nothing makes me happier than when they come back for another stay! It feels like welcoming back old friends. If I have to leave them for any amount of time I will be fully transparent and I will make sure it’s within the time frame you prefer! If needed I can take a pet for a day. That attention to detail gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She took care of all the essentials thoughtfully, not only filling the food and water bowls but washing them too, and she kept the litter boxes clean throughout. What impressed me most, though, was how gently she approached my kitties. They are quite skittish, and Katherine respected that, interacting with them delicately and patiently rather than forcing anything. One of them even came out to see her at feeding time, which says a lot about how calm and trustworthy she is. When I came home, all three kitties seemed relaxed and content, which is the best sign that they were in good hands. Katherine is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. I will definitely be booking her again, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter, also for shy or nervous cats.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've raised dogs from puppies providing training and teaching obedience. Also providing assistance to senior animals. I currently work full time, 4 days a week (6am-5pm) Tues-Fri. I have a very flexible schedule that will allow for local visits and walks during working hours in the Owego area. Outside of working hours I am available in the 15mi radius around Johnson City. Within working hours or near, I am available in the 15mi radius around Owego.
