About: I have 5 years of pet care experience! Ranging from ferrets to cats and dogs! I've rescued 2 dogs and trained both of them (obedience). Currently working part time. Always free to help care for your pet! Can only offer half days as I'm not free 24/7. I am more than happy to communicate with you about schedules. I care for pets in my client's home just how they would want me to do. I care for pets just like they are my own! Daily walks, play time, and of course, dinner time!

About: I've been a foster through the animal shelter for the last few years. I have two spoiled cats and previously had a dog. My girl passed away over a year ago and I have decided for the time being to not get another one. Pets are part of the family and deserve to be loved and attended to. I am fairly flexible in my daily routine and will be able to provide your pet with all the attention they need. I work in office most days and am gone for about 8 hours. If this doesn’t work for your pets schedule, I may be able to adjust depending on the time of year. Message me and we’ll see what works! I have a fenced yard and live along a dead end to be able to walk your pet safely. I have two cats. Cali will hide during your pups visit and Dolly will make quick friends with them. I keep a gate at the end of the hall so dogs aren't able to go in the cats room. I prefer to keep dogs who crate at night and while away from the house. This will ensure safety for all pets in the home. I have a crate that can be set up if you aren't able to bring yours.

“We had Mandy return to watch our cats for a long weekend - she was communicative and sent great photos with her daily check-in updates. It was clear that the cats remembered her and loved the attention they got from her, and their playtime! We will definitely ask her back again. Thanks!”

“It was an absolute pleasure to have Katherine taking care of our cats and our house! She is very organized, prompt, proactive, thoughtful, and kind. Katherine has fantastic animal intuition and quickly figured out how to make our two cats comfortable. We could tell that she quickly won over our shy cat by the wonderful pictures and videos that she sent us throughout our vacation. Katherine communicated exceptionally well: before, during, and after her stay. And from the pictures and videos, it was pretty clear that the cats were enjoying being with her and enjoying life in general, which gave us great peace of mind. She even figured out a way to easily give one of our cats his medication – a process that I have now adopted! Katherine left the house clean and tidy. We whole-heartedly recommend Katherine!”

As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I send daily photo updates and report back any information requested. I have experience maintaining training schedules for puppies. I’m diligent at following care plans and requests. Overall, I truly to enjoy connecting with animals and their owners alike! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and considering me. I’m currently working towards my graduate degree and have a flexible daily schedule. I am able to stop by routinely (in between classes or internship commitments) to take care of your pet! I am available most weekends and weekdays. My schedule is subject to change in a few weeks with the start of a new semester. My goal is to continue the quality of care that your pet is used to. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!
