“10 out of 10!!!! Would HIGHLY recommend Savannah!! It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone and she was a perfect fit! She sent texts/pictures of our dog with updates, that just made me feel relieved and less stressed. We will be using her services again for sure!!!”

“Katie and her family were absolutely amazing! They are were so kind and gave my pup all the extra attention he loves. Will absolutely be coming to her for future bookings 😊”

“Finding Whitney was an absolute blessing! We had a beach trip that kinda came out of nowhere with a 10~ week old puppy that also jumped in our lives unexpectedly and we needed somewhere for him to stay while we were gone! I had never used Rover before but I knew our puppy, Bubba, was not old enough to stay at a boarding facility so I thought I would try it out. Bubba had a blast and I always looked forward to the videos Whitney would send me of him playing with her sweet dog, Pearl! For anyone that has a young puppy, I highly recommend Whitney cause if he had been at a boarding facility he wouldn’t have been able to play and get all his puppy energy out!”

“Doug did an amazing job with our puppy. He was very gentle and kind with her. It was our first time using Rover and first time leaving her for the weekend and I can honestly say I didn’t worry a bit. Highly recommend Doug and hope to use his services again.”

“What a beautiful person I will definitely be using your services again. I appreciate you looking after my baby and what a time was that. Thanks for all the videos and messages throughout to allow me to know how my baby is doing.”

“They took great care of my Aussiedoodle. He looked so happy in every photo. She sent plenty of photos and him and each photo had a little blurb of how he was doing. It was very cute! I would totally trust them again with him. It makes it more enjoyable for him that they have their own dogs as well. I know he enjoyed playing with them.”

“Chyra took really good care of Kyo and he enjoyed his stay with her and she also took pictures and sent videos of him but when I got there to get him he was so happy to see me but also wanted to go back in her house. I would definitely recommend her and book with her again.”

“The best!! Emily sent pic updates and took great care of our baby while we were gone! She was very accommodating to our last minute request, and we really appreciate it! Thanks again!!”

“Amazing dog sitter! Lauren kept me updated the entire stay with our pups. She made my dogs feel comfortable and was flexible with drop off and pick up scheduling. Would definitely recommend her and rebook her!”

About: Working at animal hospitals and pet stores has taught me to care and handle not only my own animals but the animals of others as well. While with your dog they will get 100% of my attention because the safety of your dog is my #1 priority. I am very careful with special needs dogs and always keep in mind their specific needs. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have always had pets in my home. I currently have three dogs of my own, ranging from 9 to 65 lbs, and I’m also an experienced foster for both dogs and cats. Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of fostering and helping 24 animals find their forever homes. My fostering experience has given me hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all personalities, including those with anxiety, nervousness, and behavioral challenges. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. All dogs in my care receive multiple leashed walks throughout the day, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family! While I work full-time, my schedule allows flexibility during the day for walks and drop-ins, and I’m able to come home during lunch to let pets out. My own pets are let outside 2–3 times before I leave for work and spend the entire evening out and about with me. Dogs in my care will receive multiple leashed walks throughout the day, plenty of attention, and lots of companionship. I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family! Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, my pets have their own dedicated room, and each has their own crate for a safe, comfortable space to retreat to when needed. All pets are fed separately to help prevent food-related issues and ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. The pet room is quiet and away from the regular activity and household noises, giving pets a calm place to relax. Dogs that get along well are welcome to spend time together throughout the home, while pets who prefer one-on-one attention can have individualized time with me. I’m also able to rotate pets as needed so everyone gets plenty of time out, exercise, attention, and companionship. Pets are welcome to roam throughout the home and relax on the furniture when that is allowed in their own home. I do my best to maintain their normal routines and boundaries while providing a safe, loving, and stress-free environment.
“The best! I wish I could book her every time. Only time I left my dog with someone and wasn’t anxious the whole time. She always sent photos and updates and did a good job keeping up with his strict diet. 100/10. Will be rebooking soon.”

About: I have loved all animals my whole life. I am currently working on applying to college for veterinary medicine and thought that this job fit perfect with my interests and future aspirations. I am currently in school so my best and most available times are in the early morning or evenings during the week. Sundays are very open. My schedule does move around so other times may be available as well. Just reach out! I have 2 dogs of my own. Both are french bulldogs, one is 11 and the other is 4 years old. They are very friendly with other dogs. I have a fenced backyard as well as a dog park down the street from my house.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and caring for pets is something that comes very naturally to me. I know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets when you can’t be there, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being treated with the same love and attention I’d give my own. We currently have three cats—one outdoor cat and two indoor cats—as well as two bunnies who have their own separate space. Our cats are extremely well socialized and are accustomed to being around other cats, dogs, and our bunnies. We do not currently have a dog of our own. I’m comfortable with all the everyday things that make a big difference: feeding routines, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter boxes, keeping spaces clean, and, of course, plenty of attention and affection. I also understand that every animal has its own personality. Some want to be right beside you, while others need a little more patience and space before they feel comfortable. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and keep you updated along the way, so you can relax knowing your pet is being genuinely cared for. I am a stay-at-home/Homeschooling Mom to an 8 year old son. We offer boarding Monday-Friday and some holidays. We welcome all fur babies and truly enjoy the time we get to spend with each one of them. An area of my back yard is fenced while the other half is open. We have plenty of shaded space available for those hot days while enjoying the beautiful weather!

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Blocton home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Blocton.
