“I did not want to board my cats anymore as they are older and the whole process is quite traumatic for them. From wrangling them into carriers, driving them to the vet, getting full rounds of vaccinations for 2 mature house cats, sitting in crates for a week surrounded by unfamiliar noises, smells and sights and then bringing them home again, boarding is terrifying for them and expensive for me. I am so glad I found Liz for home visits. The cats are home in their safe space and I know they’re fed and watered. They’re both shy around strangers but Liz was able to lure Darby out from her hiding spot under the bed for some purrs and treats. I highly recommend her expertise and will use her services again in the future.”

“Daisy responded super quick to any and all messages. She sent a ton of great pics. She obviously stayed with our little cat Stevie the entire scheduled time if not more, and played with her a ton. We’ll absolutely be booking her to watch Stevie again. Highly recommend!!!”

“Simply the best. Each week Kathleen checks in on my parents’ cat, handling the litter change and any medications. She makes it so easy for my older parents to keep their cat by their sides!”

“Hannah was an incredible caretaker! She was so loving, thoughtful, detailed and responsible with our cat and guinea pigs. Hannah sent us photos and updates every day. We knew our animals were in great hands. Thank you!”

“This is the second time Stephanie has taken care of our cat. She is wonderful - trustworthy, caring and responsible. Our shy cat really responds to her and while we’re away, we’re so happy that he’s in such good hands. She really understands and knows how to relate to cats!”

“Molly was great with my cat who she boarded for close to two weeks. She sent me regular updates and videos of him. It was also an added bonus that she had her own cats which was delightful company for him.”

“Esther has been visiting our dog daily for the past couple of weeks and we couldn’t have wished for someone better. Esther is reliable, caring, communicates with us, and sends us pics of Shadow. We will definitely continue to use Esther’s services. She’s excellent with our dog!!”

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

“Maria was the absolute best. Courteous, Professional and punctual. She did everything I asked for and more. If you need a sitter - HIRE MARIA!!! 10/10. My cat was in great hands! Thank you so much Maria!!!!”

About: I’ve only pet sat a sweet puppy named Forty for a day in my home. She was my first dog sitting experience and the experience was so rewarding that I decided to come back for more. Although I don’t have as much experience as the next person, I decided to try my luck with Rocer and hopefully the great pet community on here will help me learn a lot more! I currently work overnight hours so I have plenty time during the day to cater to our little animals needs. Most of the activities and feedings needed to help them grow, from my understanding, happen during the day and I would be glad to be apart of that. I have a fenced yard with more than enough space for physical activity and my neighborhood is pet and pedestrian friendly for frequent outdoor activity. I also own a car with ample space for transportation if need be.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I was a camp counselor at a daycare/boarding facility where dogs interacted and played together all day. I supervised up to 30+ dogs daily, and I have had hands-on experience with little and big dogs. I fed, cleaned, bathed, and administered medications that don't involve needles. I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and fish. I'm a huge animal lover, and I love children as well. I am not able to watch pets in my home, because of the pets I already have. However, I would be 100% willing to stay in your home to care for your beloved family member, or make visits. :)! I'm currently working as a 7th-grade English teacher in the Rockland County area from 9:00-3:40. I'm lucky enough to have awesome work hours that allow me to take care of pets as needed! Currently I can't watch other animals in my home because I have two cats of my own and a new puppy! All 3 of my animals are spoiled rotten! They have so many toys, tons of playtime, and the best of the best quality food and treats! I love my animals like my children, I even had a puppy shower for my new puppy! (Ask me for photos, and I will show you lol!) It's important to me, that your fur baby is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. I will try my best to mimic your pet's schedule and keep them feeling pawsitively happy!

My dog is 12 and has a history of being nervous around strangers and becoming depressed when I go away, but Paige is always so excited and enthusiastic when she interacts with my dog, that now my dog gets excited whenever she sees Paige, rather than being nervous. He treats pets with respect and they tend to gravitate towards him because of all his good qualities as a pet caregiver.”

Janelle S.
“Janelle is the best! My dog loves her and each time he stays with her, the care he receives exceeds expectations. He is always excited to see her and her pups again! She is reliable, communicative, provides lots of updates and photos and truly cares about ALL animals.
