About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years. My first dog, Baby, taught me what true love and loyalty mean. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as farm animals like goats and even a pony! As a gentle and patient pet mom, I always treat every pet like part of my family. I’m very attentive to their needs, from feeding and walks to emotional comfort. I have experience with both playful puppies and calm senior dogs. My home is peaceful, full of love, and perfect for pets who need a safe, caring environment while their owners are away. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a calm and loving routine. I spend most of my day at home caring for my baby and our pets, so I have plenty of time to give your furry friend attention, playtime, and care. I enjoy spending time outdoors in the yard and making sure every pet feels loved and safe. I can easily adjust my schedule to your dog’s feeding, walking, or nap times I take safety and comfort very seriously. In my home, pets are always supervised, loved, and treated as part of the family. I make sure they have fresh water, shade, and space to play or rest peacefully. I introduce new pets slowly and calmly to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I’m experienced with animals of different sizes and temperaments, so I know how to read their body language and keep them comfortable. My yard is safe and spacious, and I always stay nearby when pets go outside. Whether at my home or yours, I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: Animal lover since birth & I got it honest. My mom is a cat person & my dad is a dog person, so I’ve taken care of many throughout childhood. Sisters brought home class pets we all enjoyed having around. Now as an adult I foster animals in need. From baby through senior, I’m good with all ages & breeds. I currently have a flexible schedule. Check ups, potty breaks, feeding, & play time will be no trouble. I mostly have my phone on person, so getting in touch with me is quick & easy. I live in a wonderful, friendly apartment complex with my cat & husband. The property has 2 fenced in dog parks, sidewalks great for walks with plenty of poop stations around. Bigger dog park with miles of walking/ biking trails just 5 mins down the road. All animal(s) being taken care of are seen as my own & respectful of any wishes you have during our arrangement. I look forward to meeting you & your pet(s).

About: My name is Jessica and I have been taking care of pets in my neighborhood for over 15 years, since I was in middle school, through college, and now during my adulthood even though I have a full time job. I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years, gaining experience on how to care for others' pets there especially in emergency hours. I love animals and I am very passionate about what I do, so I decided to branch out further than just my neighborhood. I know how uneasy it can feel leaving your pets at home while you go to work or on day trips, so let me take that worry away! I will send you updated pictures of your pet if you'd like during their walks and check ins as well as anything else you may request like giving them a treat or belly rubs, because this is what I did for me neighbors to make them feel at ease. I took care of a dog named Rosey for nearly 10 years and learned how to adjust to her needs as she got older while still making things fun for her! I haven't had as much experience with cats as I have dogs but I love them equally and have taken care of many at the veterinary hospital. I work a 2-2-3 schedule 12 hours a day meaning that I am off two days, on two days and off 3 days then vice versa the next week. The 12 hour shift pays off because that means I only work half a month! That leaves so much open time and that is why I have been able to tend to the current pets in my neighborhood so well. I have a Pomeranian named Bobby and he is my baby. I spoil him all the time and make sure that he is well taken car of whether he has to go outside at 2pm or 3am, I am out there! I give treats for rewards within moderation and love on him all the time. Your pets will get lots of love with me and I will make sure that they are well taken care of while still having fun. Bobby is a senior dog so I am always gentle with him because he also has a disability, so I will also be able to manage that if your dog has a disability as well. I walk Bobby twice a day and play with him a lot on the days that I am off because that is what continues the strengthen our bond.

My goal is simple: provide reliable, attentive care that keeps your dog happy, secure, and well loved and gives you complete peace of mind. I am focusing on working with what I love. That just happens to be dogs! My availability is open so I'm ready to get started! I offer everything EXCEPT for boarding in my own home or cat care as I am highly alleric. I keep to my clients routine as closely as possible, I love very specific instructions so I can make sure I'm doing what needs to be done to make sure the pets are well taken care of. My dogs get playtime daily, they go out multiple times a day, and they get treats in moderation. Positive reinforcement is the only way to go. No yelling, or anything of the kind. I am patient, even if accidents happen.

Holly was wonderful with Jaxon. She watched and walked him 3 days in a row and did a great job. Jaxon felt a little sick one of the days and she did a wonderful job caring for my fur baby. If you want your pup being cared for like they’re family and want the peace of mind of knowing they’re safe and happy when you’re gone… book Holly. Highly recommended!

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life as well as smaller caged animals. I grew up with rottweilers and english mastiffs, so no dog is too big. I love to go on walks or hikes and stay active with them, or stay cuddled up on the couch at home if that’s what they prefer. I can check on them at your house or bring them to mine, whatever is better and makes them more comfortable! I work in the evenings so I’m always available to check on your four legged friends during the day and am also able to come home during work to check if need be. I look forward to getting to know your fur friend and treating them like my own! Every morning/afternoon i’m available, and some evenings! I work a nighttime evening schedule so i’m available when you’re busy at work or out of town! Whatever your four-legged buddy needs, I can do. A long work or a quick potty break and some love, I cover it all. Need me to bring in the mail or water plants while I’m there? I can do that too!

About: Hello, I am Bailey a 25 year old in love with furry friends! I have experience house sitting multiple pets at the same time. All shapes, sizes and breeds. I do have means of transportation if you need me to travel. So if you want your fur baby to have fun this season while you are at work or on vacation message me, just trying to make a little extra cash doing what I love. My Doyle is so low maintenance, i free feed and we have a dog door so he can eat or go outside whenever he pleases. Mostly he just wants to be curled up in the nearest blanket. He was a rescue from Mexico and adores just laying out in the sun, he never learned to play with toys he has his own little way of playing. He comes just about everywhere with me and he wouldn’t have it any other way. My care for your pet entirely falls in your court, that is all up to your preferences! All my past clients I had met with before hand about a care plan for their pet(s) and possibly home. An animals care needs can certainly be as personalized as ours. Each with their own needs, behaviors, likes and dislikes. A care plan helps ensure that I can make your animals comfortable, happy and healthy. That way you you can be relaxed on vacation knowing they are in good hands.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,007 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Wentworth. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wentworth. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wentworth.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wentworth. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
