I graduated from NC State with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2015. I received my Master's degree in nutrition in 2018. I have completed a few internships at vet clinics and shelters. I welcome all dogs as I am most experienced with horses -so big dogs are not a problem! Animals have always been a passion of mine and I know how to pay special attention to dogs and their needs. Generally I can spot common issues and know how to stay calm in an emergency. What the owner suggests, I will keep in mind at all times. There will be no worries about your fur babies under my care! I do work during the day M-F, and do not work from home. So if this isn’t a problem, I will give your fur baby the upmost care and attention when I return from work during their stay! I am home all day during weekends and most holidays! I work full time M-F. However, despite this, I am so attentive to my fur babies. I have an indoor camera where they can be watched while I am gone. If my work schedule is not a problem, I promise your fur baby will have a blast with me! I take it very serious for fur babies to be tended to and watched. I am very cautious and think of their safety, always. I am very communicative and will notify owners of anything that is an emergency! I ask many questions to make sure your fur baby feels safe and as happy as they can be in my or their home.

I have a lot of experience with animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, rats, exotic birds, goats, and a tarantula or two so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your pet. I have a Pomeranian named Bobby and he is my baby. I spoil him all the time and make sure that he is well taken car of whether he has to go outside at 2pm or 3am, I am out there! I give treats for rewards within moderation and love on him all the time. Your pets will get lots of love with me and I will make sure that they are well taken care of while still having fun. Bobby is a senior dog so I am always gentle with him because he also has a disability, so I will also be able to manage that if your dog has a disability as well. I walk Bobby twice a day and play with him a lot on the days that I am off because that is what continues the strengthen our bond.

My dogs get playtime daily, they go out multiple times a day, and they get treats in moderation. Positive reinforcement is the only way to go. No yelling, or anything of the kind. I am patient, even if accidents happen.

I had senior dogs I have had to take care of that was my own, puppies, and I have cared for family friends dogs and cats on multiple occasions:) I will be going to school in the fall, so my schedule will be different then.
