“I can’t say enough great things about Tracy. She puts my mind at ease whenever I’m away from my fur babies whether she stays or does drop-ins. She is thorough, kind, and makes sure everything your pets may need are taken care of. I highly recommend her for all services.”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 7 years old who recently passed away. I live with my parents who are also fellow animal lovers and love when I pet-sit for friends. It brings life and fun to our household to host your furry friends. I currently work part time waitressing a few nights a week nearby. I am off weekends so I have all that time carved out to take care of pets! I have an unfenced, medium sized open field directly across from my condominium building I can take your pet for potty breaks and play time. I can keep them leashed for their safety. My parents, who I live with, are fellow animal lovers who love spending time with animals. I have a lazy cat who spends most of the day sleeping, but he lives upstairs in our split unit with my parents. My unit is entirely separate from where he resides, so if your pet doesn’t like cats, it’s no problem!
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I love meeting new dogs and cats. When I am out at a park I always want to say hi as long as the owner is ok with saying hello. If you want a drop in visit I will be sure to play with them and give them lots of attention.

I’m patient with young pets who need help with training and routines, and gentle with senior pets who need extra care. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As someone who currently works part-time, I'm available to provide pet care after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and I have additional availability on weekends. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's going for walks, playing, feeding, or simply giving them love and companionship. I treat every pet like part of my own family and make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priority I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for all kinds of animals. I follow each owner's care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications if needed, and any special routines. About: I grew up in a household with many animals and have always loved walking our dogs and taking care of the cats and other animal friends. I would love to care for your pets and give them a special moment in their day and help you remove one thing off the to-do list. Our lives get very busy and for pet-owners, having an extra hand here and there can be very beneficial. As a college student, I am using Rover to help with finances during the semesters. Mixing physical exercise with hanging out with your pet for some time sounds like the perfect activity for me! I hope to be able to assist you with your pet needs. Best, Sieira I am currently a college student at West Chester University and a part-time employee at Wawa, so my availability depends on the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am able to be booked for walks or drop ins from 11:30am until 5pm. Saturdays I am only available in the afternoon, from 4pm to 8pm. Sundays I am available anytime requested in the morning until 5pm! I always ensure the pet is comfortable on walks, offering plenty of sniff breaks and giving them lots of water afterwards. For drop ins, I would love to hang out with your pet and allow for some fun socialization when they need it! I always do a temperature check on what the pet is feeling before taking action, as every animal is different and has various needs.
Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wembly
Cassandra has watched our kitty on several occasions at this point and is my most trusted sitter! She's very communicative, sends pictures every day, and seems to love what she does. She's flexible, dependable, and follows instructions very well! Would recommend her to anyone for pet care. Our fur baby is in great hands with her.

Yasmine took great care of my cats while I was away for an extended trip. I needed a last-minute cat sitter, and she was incredibly reliable and easy to work with. She was very responsive/communicative, followed all of my instructions carefully, and always kept me informed of any observations or issues. It gave me peace of mind knowing my cats were in such good hands. I highly recommend Yasmine to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive cat sitter!

Catherine was incredible with my cats! She was prompt and thorough with our drop in visits. My two cats were well taken care of, oral medication were administered on time, and most importantly she was great at reading their body language and giving them exactly the attention they needed! I definitely recommend Catherine!

Margaret did a fantastic job checking in on our kitty while we were away for a week, making sure he got all the attention and playtime he needs. I loved receiving the detailed notes and pictures after each check-in! We will be reaching out to her again when we travel, for sure 😊

Marissa went above and beyond while taking care of our pets while we were out of town. It snowed A LOT and Marissa took the time to care for our home- she shoveled our front path and put down salt, and she was even so thoughtful that she put up the windshield wipers on our cars. We were dreading the conditions when we came home, but she was like a fairy godmother who made everything better!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
