About: I’ve always been an animal lover, especially dogs. I’ve had dogs growing up all of my life and thought they bring so much joy to the world. Though they can be a lot of work, the fulfillment they bring is priceless. I have taken care of my own dogs and family friends for about 5 years including taking them on walks, potty training, bathing, and sometimes grooming. I’ve worked with puppies and middle aged dogs from a wide variety of breeds. I will be unavailable for walks and drop ins on M, W, F from 9 am-2pm starting in September I am currently in my gap year between undergrad and law school. My schedule is flexible as I can build walls around my study routine. Pet care can also fit into my routine of daily walks. I currently intern in Davenport so starting August 24 I will be unavailable for drop ins on M, W, F from 9am-2pm. If you have any questions please let me know! When caring for my own or other pets, I like to give them as much attention and care as possible to avoid boredom and loneliness. I usually take my own dogs out to the bathroom or walks every 2 hours. I provide appropriate care depending on the need for the animal.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained!
