“Ashley is great! Our dog, Arlo, is a 75lb, 8 month old puppy and while he is the goofiest, most loving guy...he can also be a pain in the butt sometimes. Ashley handled Arlo (and our home) with great care. She is reliable and has great communication. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and loving dog walker!”

“We are so lucky to have found Tiffany J! From the very first meeting, it was clear how much she truly care about animals. She has been so incredibly reliable and always on time, which gives us such peace of mind while we're at work. Our dog, Flex , gets so excited every time she show up. I especially love the daily photo updates and detailed summaries of their walks. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional walker! Thanks Tiffany!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my entire life. My family frequently took in rescue pitbulls, so from a young age I learned how to train even the most stubborn animals. I began pet sitting for family/friends as a teenager. Many of the animals I took care of during this time were seniors, so I got quite a bit of experience in senior dog care. During college, I brought home a very energetic and very stubborn Cane Corso. I hired a professional trainer and learned many important tips on top of my already existing knowledge about dog training, which came in handy when I got a second corso. Throughout my life I’ve gained experience training puppies, taking care of senior pets, and caring for pets with diabetes and other chronic conditions. I’m currently PRN at my other job, so I can work my other job completely around the needs of your pet and what they’ll need while in my care. I have a fenced in yard and two bigger pups that are incredibly friendly and love having new dogs to play with. I also have a two year old daughter who is obsessed with animals, so needless to say your pet will not be spared any attention while in our home. Even if you’re not looking to board your pup, I have full availability to take care of your pet in the comfort of their own environment, and am willing to stop by as often as needed to make sure your pup gets all the care and attention needed while you’re away.

I've passefmy love for pets onto my kids. One daughter is studying to be a vet. I'll treat yours as my own. I do anything asked of me. If they need meds or baths I can do that as well. I teach a few days a week but I usually work remotely and have the flexibility and availability for drop-ins during the work day and evenings. 🌞🌛 I am not looking to care for pets in my own home, having recently adopted a kitten who is not yet fixed. However, I am prepared to care for your pet in your home/yard and would be sure to respect any boundaries or guidelines you set so you and your pet feel comfortable and safe. 🐶😺
About: I have a genuine love for animals and take great pride in providing reliable, caring pet-sitting services. Having grown up on a farm, I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from household pets to livestock. This background has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals of all kinds. I treat every pet as if it were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I attend school online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to travel for pet-sitting jobs and even stay overnight when needed, as long as there’s Wi-Fi so I can keep up with my classes. Since I’m currently applying for more jobs, my availability is open and adaptable, making it easy for me to provide consistent, reliable care for pets whenever I’m needed. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible so the pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also take time to clean up after them, whether that’s refreshing litter boxes, wiping paws, or tidying up their spaces. If I’m staying overnight, I make sure the home stays neat and the pets get extra attention and companionship. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and loving environment while keeping the owner’s home just as they left it.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
