Kelly communicated with us, sent pictures and updates. I am so happy I made this decision, it was the right one. We came home to a happy pup. About: Hi I'm Hannah! I'm a current medical student. I've grown up with all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to horses and even birds. I fully understand that your fur-baby is your family, and that entrusting a sitter with him/her is a big deal! Back at home I volunteer at my local animal shelter, so I have an in-depth knowledge of how to work with different types of pet personalities. I recognize that each animal is an individual, and like any individual, may have different needs. I am more than willing to work with your schedule and cater to the specific needs of your pet. My goal is to provide an experience that is fun for your pet while giving you a peace of mind knowing that someone is doing a great job taking care of them! Fun fact about me: I have a 1yr old orange tabby cat named Cheezit who can sit, shake, and lay down :) I am a current student, but my schedule does allow me some flexibility. During the week, I am usually available until 8:15am, 11:30-12:15pm, and usually I have most of the late afternoon and evening off. On the weekend, I'm available all day. If I do drop-ins with pups, I love to take them on walks or play with them in the yard. I will stay in the general area of the neighborhood unless indicated by you, the owner! If allowed, I'm be more than willing to take your dog to the dog park too. For cat boarding: I have a current cat who is very pet friendly and is up to date on vaccinations. When I am not in class, I am usually at home and am able to keep a close eye on anyone who is there. I am more than willing to provide any specific routine for your cat.

I have cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, including walking, feeding, playing, giving fresh water, cleaning up after them, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, gentle, and responsible, and I always try to follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully. I understand that every dog has its own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take time to make pets feel safe and cared for. Pet care fits well into my daily routine because I am usually home and able to give pets regular attention throughout the day. I can help with feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I try to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I have a fenced-in house with 4 bedrooms, so I can safely keep pets separated when needed. This is helpful for pets who need quiet space, slow introductions, or extra comfort. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I keep the home clean, safe, and calm, and I make sure pets are supervised and comfortable during their stay.

About: Who better than a veterinarian to take care of your best buddies while you're away? I am a new DVM graduate, and am happy to take care of your pets, no matter how old or young, especially those with special needs! I am certified in dog/cat CPR, and am comfortable providing any care needed. *Please note*: My providing pet sitting/dog walking/pet care services does NOT constitute a VCPR, and I cannot provide medical advice unless a VCPR is explicitly established in accordance with NY State Law* I prefer to stay in the client's home especially for dogs as this is generally much more comfortable for the dog to stay in their own environment. For overnight stays, I like to meet the dogs beforehand with owners present. This way they are assured it is okay to have me in their space for staying with them.

About: I’ve had many dogs throughout my life. I’m truly a dog lover through and through. Close friends and family have always trusted me to care for their babies. We can play fetch, we can take walks, we can just hangout or I can just come by to feed them, let them outside and give them water! I fit pet care into my daily schedule any time I can. I work at a salon where i’m able to leave and come back based on gaps in my daily schedule. I will stop by before work in the morning and after work in the evening and if possible, I will come by some time in between if needed! I can also stay at the house to keep your babies company if that’s what you prefer! I will stop by as many times as you prefer to check in on your babies or I am willing to stay there while you’re gone!

Upon return home my two Great Danes did not seem stressed out at all, so I know they enjoyed having her here. The house was also in spotless condition! We needed a sitter last minute for our two dogs during our wedding - we wanted them to be there, but didn’t want to leave them alone when we were getting ready, dancing, etc. When she arrived I immediately felt comfortable leaving the pups with her, so I could focus on everything else. She came midday Saturday and stayed until after our wedding; she was comfortable hanging out with us while we got ready, and just making sure the dogs were taken care of. She walked them around the grounds and kept them within arms reach, if necessary, throughout the reception. And then fed them and watched TV with them as it got dark. Her presence allowed us to really enjoy our day! We’re so thankful.”

Additionally, I will make sure they get plenty of chances to use the bathroom, and will also give them lots of attention. I am not someone who will bring a laptop and completely ignore your animal, as this is rude to both you and the dog.
