“Brennen provided a great sitting experience for our puppy. She answered all my questions as we are new to rover. She gave us updates all day long and gave our pup all the love.”

“We were visiting Tifton, GA for a few days and wanted to find a sitter where our 2 year old active black lab could run and play and enjoy the day while we were sight-seeing. I requested the stay the day before and Michelle responded to my request within 15 minutes! Even though Michelle was 30 miles away from where we were staying, it was worth the travel to have a family so loving and attentive to Gus! Their home was perfect for Gus! Big wide open space to run, another friendly dog, Roscoe, to play with, and a dog-friendly home that met all his needs. If we are in this area again, we will definitely contact Michelle!!”

About: I’ve had my own 3 dogs for the last 6 years. Before that, I would take care of my friends animals. I often dog sit and cat sit for close friends and family. Figured I would do it on here, too! I have trained all of my dogs, nothing crazy. Just the basics. One of my dogs does have health issues and another has really bad allergies so I definitely know what it’s like to have a certain routine per animal. All my animals needs are different and I’m here to provide that to lessen your stress ☺️ All day, all night!!! I am also able to travel. I drive a lot so I don’t mind if I have to travel a bit. I would love for the pet owners to give me a run down no matter what! Even if your animal is low maintenance. My dogs are high maintenance so I’m also used to that. I just like specific instructions, I feel it makes it easier for everyone involved! Especially if I’m pet sitting in your home. That’s your safe space.

About: Hi, I’m Erica! As a military spouse and lifelong animal lover, I know how important it is to find safe, reliable, and loving care when you're away. I provide exclusive, one-family-at-a-time boarding, so your dog(s) will receive my full attention in a calm, personalized environment. Dogs in my care enjoy supervised, free roam of our home and daily play in our large, fully fenced yard, along with plenty of affection and enrichment. I have two friendly resident dogs: Leela, a sweet 6-year-old Lab mix, and a playful 8-month-old Lab puppy. Together, we go on daily walks and enjoy lots of backyard fun. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds and completed multiple training courses, so I’m confident handling dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. Starting June 1, I’ll be offering boarding, daycare, drop-ins, and walks full-time from my home in Dalzell, SC. In May, I’m available evenings and weekends. I also have base access for drop-ins, pick-ups, and walks—just 10 minutes from the back gate. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily life. My own dogs are on a consistent routine that includes daily walks, playtime in our large fenced backyard, and plenty of snuggles throughout the day. I’m used to adjusting our schedule to meet the needs of the pets in my care—whether it’s administering medications, sticking to a feeding schedule, or making sure high-energy pups get lots of exercise. Starting in June, pet care will be my full-time focus, and I’m excited to welcome dogs into our home as part of our daily routine! When caring for pets in my home, they become part of our family. Dogs have full access to the home and our large fenced backyard for play, potty breaks, and relaxation throughout the day. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible—whether that’s meal times, walk schedules, or bedtime habits. We go on daily walks and have lots of playtime and affection to keep them happy, calm, and engaged. If I’m visiting a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I’d expect for my own. I ensure pets are safe, well-fed, exercised, and comforted during each visit. I’m happy to water plants, bring in mail, or send regular updates with photos and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I spent over two years managing a dog training facility, so I really understand how to make pups feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. I’m also Dog CPR certified, so safety is always a top priority. What really makes my boarding special is that your dog isn’t just a guest — they become part of a warm, nurturing family. From playtime and cuddles to cozy naps, your pup will feel right at home while you’re away. Pet care is a big part of my everyday life! I work outside the house for only about two hours a day, so I’m home the majority of the time to give your pup plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I’m available all weekdays and stay flexible with drop-offs and pick-ups to make things easy for you. Whether it’s morning walks, cuddle breaks, or evening playtime, I make sure every dog feels cared for and part of the family all day long. When your dog stays with me, they become part of my family! I have a big fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime and zoomies, plus another friendly dog who loves making new friends. Our two little ones adore helping with gentle pets and belly rubs — it’s truly a home full of love. Everyone’s safety always comes first, so if a pup prefers quiet time or needs their own space, I make sure they have a comfy, peaceful spot to relax. Your dog will feel right at home with plenty of love, care, and family fun every day.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and began pet sitting for neighbors and family friends around the age of 10. I’ve had a dog of my own for about 6 years now who gets along very well with other dogs and cats. Happy to care for pets of any age and willing to administer medications or provide other special needs to pets if needed. I have a lot of free time in the next couple of months as I am waiting to start a job a few months from now. I will have plenty of time to drop in to check on pets, regular walks, and boarding! I have a very friendly dog that gets along well with cats and dogs alike. I am happy to welcome your pet into my home or come to your home to care for your fur babies too.

About: I’ve always loved taking care of dogs! When I was younger my family had two dogs: a chihuahua named droopy and a German shepherd named Chico. Having them taught me how to care for dogs of different sizes and needs. When it comes to taking care of puppies and senior dogs, I am always patient and attentive. I am more than happy to take care of your pet! I’m available on weekends and weekdays during the summertime for boarding and day-sitting. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wedgefield commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
