“Kirsten is a great pet sitter. We have 5 cats and she fed, provided fresh water, and cleaned out several litter boxes for 4 days for them. I appreciated her willingness to help me with this job. Kirsten sent plenty of pictures and my kitties like her. She did an excellent job.”

About: I have been caring for pets for 30 years. Not only my own pets, but our friends and families pets. I have rescued many dogs and cats over the years and even a bird or two. In my home, I will separate my pets as people bring in theirs. When the owners leave, I will introduce them one at a time. I can administer their medicine, do some light grooming, take on walks, and my schnauzer says he will let them play with his ball thrower. Oh, and pets will never be fed together.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
