“Amy has been pet sitting for my elderly dog since he was a puppy. He has medical conditions which restricts us from boarding him when we travel. Amy is very detail oriented with the care of our dog and he is always thrilled to see her! I fully trust her with my pet.”

About: I have been in the pet care industry for over 30 years. I have recently and continue to do pet transportation. I show and train/behavior dogs. I have owned boarding and grooming facility and managed a humane society in Wisconsin. I was a vet technician and have my Red Cross First Aid Dog and Cat Certificate. I'm home majority of the time, I do pet transportation also but have recently added employees to do the driving so I can be home more. I have a very flexible schedule to provide care for your pet. I have a 6ft privacy fence. I have several individual sized crates for different size dogs and puppies. I slowly introduce to my dogs who will match with yours in my home. They will have access to my couch, floor or where they feel comfortable and even my bed. For non-housebroken dogs they will be crated at night and when I leave, and we will work on housebreaking skills. There will be plenty of outdoor play time in a large secure backyard. Cats will have their own room and window to enjoy birds and squirrels, they will have their own litter box full access to water and food or on the schedule you have set. Drop-in sitting, I can and will schedule visits including play, feeding and letting your dog potty or check and feed your kitty.

“I cannot speak highly enough of Cassie as a dog sitter. She is truly a gem when it comes to caring for our furry family member. Cassie's lifelong experience with dogs shines through in her exceptional ability to handle them with care and compassion. From the moment she began taking care of our dog, it was evident that she possesses a unique understanding of their needs and a genuine love for animals. Cassie's intuitive nature is remarkable. She has an innate ability to connect with dogs on a deeper level. It's as if she can understand their wants and needs before they even communicate them. Her patience and attentiveness towards each individual dog are truly commendable. Whether it's a playful puppy or a shy and anxious dog, Cassie knows just how to adapt and provide them with the comfort and attention they require. One of the things that sets Cassie apart is her dedication to providing top-notch care. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that our dogs receive the highest quality attention and affection. She takes her responsibilities seriously and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. Cassie truly embodies the phrase 'dog whisperer'—her ability to create a calm and positive environment for our dogs is unparalleled. I have complete confidence in Cassie's abilities as a dog sitter and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care. She is not only professional and reliable, but she also possesses an undeniable passion for animals. Choosing Cassie as our dog sitter has been one of the best decisions we have made for our beloved pets, and we are grateful for her incredible care and commitment.”

About: I have grown up with animals ever since I was a baby. I grew up around goats, sheep, horses, dogs, cats and now even my own lizard. I worked at a horse stable for two years but while I was there I also took care of the farm dogs. I was always the one to make sure that they were loved and all 7 of them would follow me everywhere. I also currently work at a grooming/ doggy daycare. While working there I am with all kinds of different dogs and have learnt how to handle anxious or nervous dogs! I also love cats. I have not had as much experience working with them but I know how to not push a cats boundaries. I think that they also deserve respect and their own space. 😊 I am currently working part time in Ames and would be able to make sure your pet is getting as much attention as possible. I will treat your pet as my own and makes sure they get lots of loving and walks. I do have 6 dogs at my house. They all get along with puppies but a couple do not get along with adult dogs. If you have a puppy I would be happy to take care of them at my house. They will have many friends to run around with and while I am home they will be able to run on they farm until their heart is content. I would have to kennel the puppy at night so they will be protected from the animals outside. I would also kennel while I am not home to make sure that they are completely safe. If you have an adult dog I am more then happy to stay at your place. Or just stop by to let them out to the bathroom, go on walks, and give them lots of love!

“Jessica is an amazing dog sitter! She works at Ames Pet Resort with me, and she has a lot of experience with dogs. She's also helped me out with my own pup, and I'm super thankful! I would 10/10 recommend Jessica for your fur babies! ❤”

About: I am young but I have a lot of experience! I have been taking care of dogs (and many other pets like cats) since I was 13. I love being around them and making sure they get exactly what they need to be happy! I have a cat if my own and I also had 2 dogs before I moved out of my parents home. I love them all very dearly! Not only will I do all the tasks I am meant to do but I will also spend some time with your pet! Play with them and if allowed, give them treats!

“We used Kacie both days of a weekend for a drop in and couldn’t be more pleased. She was so communicative, and she even cleaned up one of Murphy’s accidents! Will definitely rebook”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and even rabbits for 5+ years! My part time job is taking care of pets at the vet I work at. I walk dogs, give them play times, feed them, and show them love. I love any animal I meet and take very good care of them! I’m currently working part time and I’m available on weekends and weekday nights. I’m also a full time student at college. But I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets! If your cat or dog have medicine it needs to take, I’m your girl! I have experience in giving dogs pills and cats insulin. I also handle many pets with behaviors that vary from very good to somewhat crazy. However your pet behaves, I’ll show them love and care for them greatly.
